Our freezer died so of course I called the appliance repair company to help us fix it. They sent someone over and he did some work then said we needed to order a part in order to get it fixed. Meanwhile our freezer is out of commission. Two weeks go by and no word. I call them and they say they didn't even have a report made from their technician on that freezer so they started one two weeks late. Ok let's order the part so we can get the freezer fixed. Two weeks go by again and I call them back. "Oh looks like that part didn't get ordered, sorry about that." Meanwhile our freezer is out for over a month at this point. They ordered the part, it came in a few days later, the part was installed and freezer worked again for another month before it died and ruined everything in it. At this point we would have opted to buy a new freezer although our landlord wanted us to keep working with these people and hold them to their work. I called back and same technician comes out again. He "fixes" it without telling me what was wrong or what needed to happen, charges my card that I had never consented they store on file and then it breaks again another month later ruining hundreds of dollars worth of food yet again. I've been calling them every week since this has happened to try and ask what was wrong with our freezer in the first place and if we need to just buy a new one and throw it out. Every single time they say, "we'll call you right back about this". I call again and they just tell me the exact same thing again and again with no call back. Terrible customer service, don't waste your money on them and don't give them your credit card if you choose to waste your money on them.

I struggle with this review. These are very talented upholsterers and I know many locals who have…read moreglowing things to say about them, which is why I felt comfortable using them. My experience was a bit different. It started out great, worked with the owners to source fabric I could get fast enough to complete this job before an unexpected move. I paid full retail for the fabric which was a nice bump in profit for Nip N Tuck. I had a schedule which they said they could accommodate. In the end I actually had about 10 days more than planned. I got no updates on the progress and as my move date got closer, I started reaching out for status. The owner never returned my calls though I spoke to an employee who gave me no helpful information. When I did finally reach her, after several attempts, it was like I was speaking to a different person altogether. To say she was rude and unprofessional is inadequate to describe that phone call. So I came to terms with the fact I'd probably have to ship these at a later date. Next thing I know, chairs are done and they offered to deliver. A complete 180° from my previous encounter. So that was awesome. Chairs looked fabulous. They are creaky now, where they weren't before. Also they sit very soft and we discussed making the sit medium-firm. So now we'll be moving them to a less used space because they are marginally comfortable. So with all that being said, I probably would look for someone else primarily because of the roller coaster of personal treatment. I do believe you can have good work done if you get everything in writing and stay on top of the progress. But for me, not so much.
