I put the hoop back on but could not figure out how to close it. I called blue Lotus and asked if they would help me re close the hoop. Phone answered told me to come in so I drive the 10 miles and when I get there they tell me theirs a charge for closing my hoop. It's all of maybe 1 minute and after $130.00 plus purchase they're not willing to help a customer! Don't expect customer service once they're done. Very expensive and shitty customer service. EDIT: Since I can't reply to their reply I'll put it here. First, I was offered the 2 o'clock time to come in by your phone answerer and she could have told me about the charge at that time, but didn't. Second. No price was given until drive the 20 minutes to your place. In fact I was told it's up to the person doing it maybe he'd charge maybe not. When I got upset it was because someone sort of yelled out, I'm charging, but no mention of price. Still I didn't yell at anyone, I merely stated you'd be getting the review you deserve, and left. Third. As for wishing me luck, I ended up getting a new gold hoop and put in my ear same day, no form to fill out and here's the kicker. You guys totally ripped me off last year. I paid $20 (and a big tip) for the hoop and the bit of work instead of the $150.00 you guys got out of me... Make sure to check out each artist's portfolio online (or in store) and their art styles. While each artist can do any style, some have a lot of experience in one type. I originally went to Black Sheep Tattoo on a whim for a walk-in tattoo and Frit was able to help me…read moreout! I got a cute little ghost tattoo (which now has cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and his name is Gerard) and immediately worked on scheduling another appointment in the future for a spine/back tattoo. Frit was amazing and came up with an absolutely gorgeous design (even though I was not much help in giving ideas, sorry Frit!!). Never once did she make me feel bad or like a burden when I asked for things to be tweaked/changed, and when we finally got a design agreed on, we started with the first session and got all of the line work knocked out. After two more sessions, we got the shading and detail all done as well and it looks absolutely killer! Frit is super easy going and fun to spend full 8 hour sessions with so it isn't boring/awkward/etc. and I'm so glad I came in that first day for a random tattoo so I could find my forever artist! While bored in class one day I stumbled upon Leah's insta and loved her style! However, I'm pretty impatient and since her books are closed, I decided to look into the other artists there. Boy, am I happy I did! Through Instagram I found Sam and immediately fell in love with an available flash piece she had posted on her IG story. I decided to reach out through email that night because I couldn't stop thinking about how cute it was. She got back to me the next day telling me the piece was still available-- woohoo! We shot a few friendly emails back and forth about size, color, and pricing (she works for ~120 an hour) and worked out an available time later in the week. This isn't my first rodeo with tattoos, so believe me when I tell you I could NOT BELIEVE how comfortable she made me feel the whole time (it was like chilling with an old friend). Even better, the tattoo was the least painful I have EVER gotten. I even pointed out that I couldn't believe how little pain I was experiencing. Whoever taught her, taught her well. The little piece turned out beautifully and I've been getting so many compliments. Thanks so much Sam and WTC! I'll definitely be back (if not for another tat, then definitely for the candy and donuts).
