I have witnessed someone paying for a whole body part in advance but all their appointments keep getting canceled do to "something coming up". There is a lot more I could say but I think that's enough to show people that this is not a professional business, they will not treat you with respect and if they do it won't last long. Me and so many others are proof. They canceled all 3 of my appointments but only auto messaged me about 1. They couldn't even personally message me telling me why.

I've had three pieces done by Kaitlyn Garfoot now and I've sent two friends who have had tattoos done by her as well -- she is the absolute best person and artist I've known. I love that I can come to her with my crazy ideas and she makes them beautiful and practical. She's changed my life in the best way. Her coloring is outstanding and the line-work is second to none. Go see her! Also, the piercers are awesome. Holly just moved out to Sun Prairie and she did my rook piercing about a year and a half ago -- it's my favorite piercing. I am trans and at no point did anyone make me feel the least bit uncomfortable. Grace did my first ever piercings, 2 sets in my ears. She was pleasant, communicated well, and she made me feel at ease. The piercings themselves barely hurt, and she provided good aftercare instructions. I got a cute little ghost tattoo (which now has cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and his name is Gerard) and immediately worked on scheduling another appointment in the future for a spine/back tattoo. Frit was amazing and came up with an absolutely gorgeous design (even though I was not much help in giving ideas, sorry Frit!!). Never once did she make me feel bad or like a burden when I asked for things to be tweaked/changed, and when we finally got a design agreed on, we started with the first session and got all of the line work knocked out. After two more sessions, we got the shading and detail all done as well and it looks absolutely killer! Frit is super easy going and fun to spend full 8 hour sessions with so it isn't boring/awkward/etc. and I'm so glad I came in that first day for a random tattoo so I could find my forever artist! Janelle was the artist I worked with. She was fantastic. This was my 5th tattoo, first at Iron Quill. Like most people, getting a tattoo is still a big deal for me. They are meaningful, each are well thought out, personal, and purposeful. Obviously everyone wants the tattoo to look great, but I also want the experience to be positive. Everyone in the shop was outgoing. The owner bought everyone (including me) subs for lunch. All around it was a great experience. Janelle was super friendly and funny. The tat looks fantastic.
