This is the only place in town that I will let pierce me. Because of COVID my friends and I scheduled our appointments online about two weeks ahead of time. The online scheduling process was super easy. I recommend making an appointment online otherwise you will have to stand outside until they have availability to see you. I wasn't sure if I was a good candidate for an ear piercing I had wanted so one of the piercers evaluated my ears and determined that I was not a good candidate. I appreciated that they were being honest with me rather than just giving me the piercing I wanted. I ended up getting a different ear piercing which I love. Absolutely amazing experience and professionalism was bar none the best I have ever had! I went in for a piercing that's kind of rare and my piercer Syndesi was nothing short of amazing! I was a little shy and taken back by the "upfrontness" if you will but that had nothing to do with him, it was more of me going, well duh, this is what I want done so what did I expect. But he was very polite and extremely professional. Only after a few minutes of talking with him I was 100% comfortable like this is someone that sees my body all the time. Came here as a walk-in on a Friday evening, and the wait wasn't bad at all! I got helped by Scott, and he was super thurough and friendly through the whole process! I've always wanted a helix piercing but have always been a big chicken about it. Scott explained each step of the process for me, and when it came time for the procedure, it was a quick sting but nothing else afterwards! What makes Evolution stand out from other places, and why their prices are worth it - they autoclave everything to make sure its completely sterile and clean, they're attentive to detail, and they have a great waiting area and procedure area - simple, clean, and definitely gives you great comfort of mind you've come to the right place. Super disappointed been following this shop for a long time on Instagram and decided to finally pull the trigger on some new piercings and jewelry. I showed up at 802pm and was told they were not taking any more walk-ins after 8pm. Why do you advertise that you are open till 9 then? The associate that "helped" me was super snobby as if working at a piercing shop makes you superior than those that don't. I walked in prepared to spend a couple hundred getting my lobes re-pierced. Evolution is the best!! I have gotten several piercings other places and two forward helixes (separate occasions) and a rook at evolution. The healing processes were SO much better after my piercings at evolution. With my others, I had a lot of pain and soreness after and a longer healing process. After my forward helixes and rook I had basically NO soreness after and they healed so fast. I have been pierced by Scott and Noah and they were both amazing. So professional and everything was super clean. They got the job done very fast. The girls in the front are also super nice and helpful. I live an hour away but it's worth the drive! Today was my first time in the shop, and I just came in to get some new jewelry and have it put in for me.I made an appointment and showed up very early for my appointment. I had a long wait until my appointment time, but that was my fault--and everyone there was super professional, welcoming, and friendly. When I came time for my appointment, I did all the paperwork and made my jewelry selections. I was given a total for everything and told I would pay at the end. A few minutes later they told me they didn't have the jewelry I wanted in the type of metal I had chosen, and offered alternatives. I asked to see them, and decided on a niobium piece because it appeared just off-silver when I was shown, and I very much prefer silver. I saw the actual piece that was going in and it appeared the same when it was all polished and ready. Now that I've been back home for a while, it looks way darker than it did in the shop. Maybe it was lighting? Maybe it oxidized quickly? I don't know, but I'm not happy with the piece I got, and I had to pay MORE for it! No one explained that it would darken with time, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen it. Don't get me wrong, the shop is great and everyone there is super friendly and very very professional. I just feel like I paid more for something I didn't really want in the first place, and that I very much dislike now that it appears so dark. I may or may not come back to this shop, but if I do I will ask way more questions to make sure I fully understand what I'm buying. Right now I'm feeling a little bit duped. read more

I have had many friends that highly recommend Evolution for piercings, but I never wanted to pay their price. Therefore, I have gone to less than subpar piercing parlors previous to arriving at Evolution. Let me just begin by saying this place is different in so many beneficial ways that were very unexpected. 1) CLEAN Everything from the front of house to the piercing station was absolutely taken care of in terms of cleanliness. The environment happened to be relaxing as well with their large real vine décor and ponds. I'm a big germ-a-phobe and I was very impressed by how clean this place was. Especially where the actual piercing happened. 2) CUSTOMER SERVICE These employees are impeccably professional in their knowledge and approach from arrival to departure. They walk you through every stage in the pre-piercing process, to jewelry and pricing (without asking) and the proper forms along with an aftercare and description of piercings pamphlet(printed professionally). 3) PROCEDURE The piercer had a charm and charisma about him that eased the nerves while still being completely professional. He knew what he was doing through every step of the way. I have had my nose pierced before and it never healed after 2 years. It ended up closing up and that is why I got it re-pierced. He placed a marker in a spot that looked better than the first time I had it and made the procedure quick and easy. He gave me a bag of salt with their logo and information to clean the piercing and explained everything listed in the pamphlet. He told me to come back in 8 months to adjust the jewelry. After only 2 weeks of having it, I have never had a piercing that is doing so well on healing. This place is high quality and they are probably the most knowledgeable folks I have come across in this work. Absolutely the best! read more

I have been a longtime customer of Evolution. I have seen multiple piercers and have even taken my daughter in for her ears to be pierced here. I often find the front staff to be hit or miss. They can be very friendly and informative or very unfriendly and unhelpful. For some reason the past several months I've had problems with my jewelry falling out. I keep going to Evolution to get new jewelry and have it replaced. Their policies keep getting more ridiculous for coming in. I have no problem with masking or sanitizing or temperature checks. Initially I could make an appointment online to get jewelry changed. Now you can only make an appointment for a new piercing. If you need jewelry changed you have to go as a walk-in. You CANNOT call ahead and get added to the list, you have to be at the door to be added to the list. They do not let you in while you wait, you have to wait outside in the sun. There are no chairs, no shade. I'm not going back anymore. I'm pretty sure any piercer can replace my jewelry at this point. After this, I found out there is another piercing place in town. I'll be finding out how hard it is to get into Ascension Body Mod. Especially now that Evolution charges for changing out jewelry, doesn't allow you to schedule an appointment for this, doesn't allow you to call ahead to be put on wait list, and my jewelry keeps falling out!?!? EDIT: Within a week? When the hole has shrunk and has to be stretched? No thank you! I went through that on Monday after I had to wait to get in to get my last piece of jewelry replaced. I waited 40 minutes past my appointment which I apparently scheduled in error. There were THREE appointment times available yesterday, but I was not allowed to book one, nor was I allowed to call ahead and place my name on list, though I live about 10-15 minutes from your location and one person was on list ahead of me and I was quoted a wait time of 30-60 minutes. Most places allow you to call ahead for wait list. My car was broken down, so I wasn't even in my own vehicle and I prefer not to stand outside in the blazing hot sun. There is no seating or shade. And I tried every which way I could to find a way to work with multiple members of the staff to have my jewelry replaced the day after it fell out. And it is not like I started out the encounter angry. So, try to play it off like this is my fault, but I stand by my review. Thanks. read more

The ladies upfront were friendly enuff, typical young urban hipsters givin the old dude sideways glances condecending convo. The guy who did the actual consult wit me, schoolin me on terminology, healing times, materials to choose from to be inserted & the price variant dependent on the metal used as well as body location. Helpful3. But to me rather technical, cold, not my image/idea of a place where both employees & customers look/act like the cool kids, cutting edge, yada yada. And unforgivable to me, he cut me off mid question(I had at least 2 more mentally in the queue),sayin he had a scheduled appt startinRIGHT NOW & sorry again but I had had a scheduled time earlier, missed due to public trans issue, & he wanted to assist me ANYWAY but a scheduled appt cimes first eh? THAT kinda piss off tude which led me to another piercing establushment on same street about 1/4-1/2 mile west. read more

When I came back in for a check up a few weeks later, Noah asked my permission if Bethany, his apprentice could perform the check- up under his supervision, to which I happily obliged.
