Red was very helpful in the selection. place was very clean & busy. When I bought my body jewelry he even gave me 2 alcohol pads to clean them Incase I wanted to wear immediately. I will only get my piercings done here by Callen G. I've been going to him for years and I'm convinced he is the most professional, clean, and experienced piercer I've ever met! Not to mention the guy is just straight up cool!! He has such a calm demeanor when he works that he almost makes you forget you're about to get stabbed in the skin with some monster needles! Seriously though, all of my piercings have come out great, perfectly placed, and have never given me any problems. I have very sensitive skin and scar easily, and I have had piercings done by others in the past that would discharge and even reject. Sachs has been an Nob Hill staple for years! I've never had the opportunity to go inside, let alone get something pierced! I went in and got my nose pierced and it was a sterile, smooth process. The environment is clean. The staff wash their hands multiple times, all the jewelry had been sterilazed/autoclaved and they walk you through the entire process. For piercings, there are no appointments, you can just call or stop in. Tattoos do require appointments for obvious reasons. I'm very pleased with my piercing and recommend to go to Sachs for your piercing needs! read more

Me and three of my friends came here to get some piercings done. In total, we got two nostril stud piercings, a septum and a navel. Scott and his apprentice did such a good job on all of our piercings!! The piercing room was sparkling clean, and both were very professional and explained each of our piercings thoroughly. Would recommend this place to anyone. The only complaint I have is that the receptionist quoted us a different piercing prices when we called prior to coming in. The price depends on the jewelry you choose, but they only had certain pieces in stock. But besides that, I'll definitely be coming back soon! read more

Prices are okay, however my experience left me never wanting to return. My friend and I went to get her nose pierced. The guy at the counter greeted us and almost immediately began making remarks toward my friend and myself making us very uncomfortable. He also remarked the male genital piercings and made lude remarks about his own genitals. The man piercing her wasn't as bad. He was more professional but still made remarks that were inappropriate and had nothing to do with her piercing or his work. I really like it here. I went a week ago on a whim to get my nose pierced. I can't remember the name of the guy that helped me, but he was so wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb! :) After my nose heals, I will definitely go back to get another nose stud or ring! Don't get a tattoo here or the Cottonwood Location. The attitude, cost and manners is ridiculous! I went in for a second time and again worst attitude, was told to come back and still took another walk in before our scheduled time!!!! They need a Customer Service 101 class for all employees! This establishment is well lit and professional and they greet you promptly when entering. I went one day last week to get a matching ring tattoo with my husband (my hubby's first tattoo). James (Jimmy) worked with us and was upfront about everything and very helpful. I had heard finger tattoos were very painful but it was honestly not bad at all! He's gentle and tells you exactly what's happening. The tattoos turned out very nice and are healing very well. I made an appointment for the next day with him for my daughter and I. She was pretty nervous because it was her first and she's still a teen but he put her more at ease and made a really nice design out of the drawings I had emailed him. We are very happy with his work and he guarantees it. The piercer there was very nice and answered all my questions I had on that subject. They take debit as well and dont charge extra which is nice. And tips are greatly appreciated since so much work and care is going into the artwork! Oh and I also saw a ton of very reasonably priced jewelry for all kinds of piercings! Yes! read more

I came in for a double cartilage piercing and, a few days later, tore the piercing with a brush. Thinking it was infected, I called back and was referred to Phil. Phil took the time to call me and give me care advice and suggested I come in to possibly have the piercings taken out. When I came in, Phil took the rings out free of charge then repierced my ear a few weeks later, also free of charge. The entire time, Phil was incredibly kind and patient and gave me wonderful aftercare advice. He explained why he used the materials he did. I have had work done here and was pleased with the staff, about 5yrs has gone by and I wanted to get my tongue repierced, walked in and was told the piercer would be back in about 5 min, well 45min later I walked out. Went here as a walk-in the fourth of July weekend for a touch up. I was charged a flat fee for touching up two different tattoos, Nick Howland did one and made me an appointment for the other at 12:30 on July 16th. He wrote the appointment on a business card. I showed up for the inking and he wasn't there. The guy at the counter called him saying that he clearly had an appointment that he had set. He gave the phone to me and Nick said that he didn't think that I would show up, so he wasn't there. Then, he said that he would call me to reschedule. That was 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure that since I already paid him I will never hear from him again. I don't know about the management of tattoo parlors, but I have a lot of friends who get ink and I will tell all of them to never go to this place. Horrible customer service. read more

Do not get your tattoo done here. PERIOD. I got a finger tattoo with Bobby about a month ago in late August 2015 and went back early Oct. to get a retouch because he said that ink doesn't stay well in finger tattoos. When he was tattooing me, he seemed more focused on the TV and was really impatient/short with me when I was asking him questions about the care for my tattoo. He said to come back after my tattoo had healed for a free touch up, guaranteed. Fast forward a month or so, I went back to get a retouch that IS supposed to be free but I was told that Bobby no longer works at Sach's (and that he was going to open his own shop - I don't blame him) so automatically it would cost for someone else to do it even though they guaranteed me that it would be free. All in all, Sach's is very unprofessional, incompetent, rude, unreliable, patronizing, and deplorable. I really wish I could give they zero stars, tbh. In all honesty, there are so many other better tattoo parlors in Central that you could go to. Get it together, Sach's. read more
