Got an appointment on a weekend within one day! I took my 17-year-old son here today for his first piercing (a septum), and I can't say enough about how incredible this place is. First off, the space itself is absolutely stunning -- it truly feels like a work of art. The owner clearly put so much love and creativity into designing the studio, and their green thumb is on full display with vibrant plants from floor to ceiling. It's such a calming and welcoming atmosphere, which made the experience even better. The staff was amazing -- friendly, polite, and so professional. They explained everything clearly and made my son feel completely at ease throughout the process. The piercer was top-notch and did an incredible job. My son is beyond happy with his new septum piercing, and honestly, I was so impressed that I'm already planning to come back and get a piercing myself. I absolutely love going into Evolution on Carlisle. Everyone there is so friendly and knowledgeable. They, even take the time to use your preferred name and pronouns. Plus they have created a really pleasant and relaxing space with the plants and water features. Allan is a wonderful human being and a great piercer. He chats with me and puts me at ease before piercing me, which always makes the process so much more pleasant. I also love that they offer aftercare products there so you don't have to run to the store. They have strict sanitation protocols so you can trust that your piercing will heal without infection or issue. It's usually super easy to get an appointment with your piercer of choice, or you can make one with the first available. This location is smaller and maybe a little easier to get to than the Central location. I've gotten a few pieces of jewelry here and a jewelry change done. I got my nose pierced earlier this year and Scott was able to calm my nerves (no pain whatsoever), was very professional/ knowledgeable about it, and was able to answer all my questions. I also like that they have a reward system and give a birthday discount. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced and the service was great. The man took my daughters to the back in a nice relaxed room. He did the left ear first and then the right. She was calm until after the first ear was completed and then was very scared. My only improvement to this place was maybe have two people do the ears at the same time to avoid scared kids. Superb experience for myself and daughters. We made 3 appointments online for a girls day out and to hype up my 8 year old to brave getting her ears pierced for the first time. The booking experience was easy and the check in experience was helpful and informative. My older daughter got another lob piercing, my youngest got her lobes pierced for the first time and I got a tragus. We picked out our jewelry and filled out some paperwork. The piercer, Noah, was amazing! Patient and talked through everything. He made my youngest feel at ease and the whole experience was painless and perfect. I have been wanting to get a second ear piercing done for a long time and it was just one of those things I never got around to doing for one reason or another. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get it done and based on many recommendations, I went with Evolution for it. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a Carlisle location that was much easier for me to get to. The building on the outside is unassuming (but well labeled so it's easy to find) but the inside is truly something unique. I really wish I had taken some photos because the art work and design of the place is gorgeous and relaxing in an edgy spa like way. I love it. I really didn't know what to expect because the last time I got my ears pierced I was a kid and it was a quick thing at a mall accessories shop with one of the staple gun looking things. This experience was far from that. The jewelry selection is great and there's a ton of options depending on what you're looking to do. I did find the gold pieces to be pretty pricey for what they were but there were lots of other options that were more affordable that made it hard to decide. Every person was very knowledgeable and put you at ease. They don't rush you at any point of the process and they are meticulous about sanitation the minute you walk in the door. Some people may find it to be overkill but I am appreciative of how conscientious they are about it, even in the retail space. I feel bad that I forgot my piercer's name but he was amazing and answered my questions and put me at ease. I wasn't particularly nervous but just a little anxious about how much it might hurt, etc. The sanitation time and placement took longer than the actual piercing which was very quick and he let me know what he was doing throughout. I have had zero pain so far and you can get everything you need to for aftercare there if needed. I had a lot of questions about when I could safely change my jewelry and he said at any point if I needed or wanted help, I could come back for that. Maybe that's a no brainer for some people but I wouldn't have even thought of asking that so I appreciate that he said something. Overall, a fantastic experience. They are a little pricey but for something that is intended to be permanent, I want it to be done right and safely so it is money well spent. I believe the base price including jewelry was around $115 but with the jewelry I chose and two aftercare products which were $15 it was around $200 + tip. I did a walk in on a whim for my birthday and I'm glad I did. The Carlisle location has a wonderful facility. I did not catch the name of the person working the front desk, but she was amazing upon greeting, checking me in, and checking me out at the end of the experience. Aleks helped with the jewelry selection and was super patient, thorough and informative. I changed out existing jewelry and chose some custom pieces. The selection they had to choose from was very extensive and they had exactly what I was looking for. Aleks was diligent to make sure each item would work for my anatomy before making any guarantees. He was also super informative about the material options and the piercing aftercare as well. It's a pleasure to work with someone who has so much passion and joy for what they do. I was paired with the piercer Ben and he was such a pleasure! He was a great conversationalist and made the appointment fly by. I had to get an MRI and I was told to remove all metal piercings and jewelry for the appointment. The problem is I have my tragus pierced and I didn't know how to remove it myself. Evolution saved the day. I was able to go in before and right after my appointment and they removed and replaced my piercing. I even bought a glass temporary that they put in for me as well. If I could give negative stars I would. I got my tongue pierced here and he did an awful job. He did not lube the needle, he did not clamp my tongue down and just I general did a bad job. My tongue has not healed well and I believe is getting infected. read more
