I am embarrassed that I renewed my lease here. This place is horrible since new owners and management took over. Do NOT rent here.

The front desk never answers the phones, no matter the day or time you call. Also, I think all packages that don't fit in Amazon lockers should be placed in front office so they don't get stolen. I don't understand how some are able to get placed there and not others. I complained about a huge box, expensive items that had been dropped off to our door by Usps around 8:45am and when we checked our front door around 11am, nothing was there. I went to post office and investigated and filed a police report also. I went to leasing office and asked the front desk to please ask the maintenance people who were working on the apartment below us for a few weeks if they saw anything because the golf carts are parked down here early and I would see them cleaning the apt windows. I asked front desk if they could please call me back to see if they had seen anything and I never received a call back. They don't have any cameras anywhere in parking lot or by apartments, only by amenities. This complex should take care of their residents more for as much as rent is here. read more

Worst apartments to live in unless you're a Karen . Take your money elsewhere unless you like to be controlled on every little thing you do in your own home that you pay for . Leasing office absolute bimbos , manger called me for a complaint on stomping even though I lived on the first floor then tried to say never mind it was a different unit . I never do reviews but the service provided tonight was beyond exceptional! An event that was just as fun for the adults as it was for our kids! Being able to watch a movie and enjoy the company that we're with without the guilt of the sound of too much fun. 20/10 WILL do this again!! read more

It's an apartment, so even with tip top appliances and amenities your time is only as good as your neighbors. They range from "I am garbage and I don't care" to Ned Flanders. The parking situation is decent but people will park their cars in the best spots and leave them there for weeks as if they need to be close to a car they don't use, considerate right? Oh and the lack of people cleaning up after themselves with the bbqs because they are lazy. The management team has been helpful when I've needed them and are pretty laid back and the maintenance people are fantastic, on time, and quick. Being the current circumstances they've made an effort to do as many community events as the CDC will allow with food truck nights, raffles, also they gave a nice little goodie bag for Christmas. The only real gripe I have is the clubhouse not being open, I get why but when i was signing the lease I wasn't informed that it'd been closed for some time. Unfortunately we probably won't be here for the long haul due to the alarming price hike the rent will take after our current lease is up (we got here during a pretty substantial deal they had going). I'd recommend living here just pick something in the back so you have access to close uncovered parking. read more

A few weeks ago, I visited the property and met with Colleen, the Property Manager, Dayana, the Leasing Agent, and Juliana, the other Leasing Agent. They showed me the Club House (the Hub), the Fitness Center, the Pool Area, the Bark Park, the Community Garden and a Model Unit. I was very impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the Leasing Team and Property Manager, as well as how clean and nice the model unit was - LOVE THE TECH PACKAGE!!! THANK YOU!!! read more

I moved into this apartment complex when there was only 3 buildings completed. My roommates and I were one of maybe 20 "families" that were living here as soon as they allowed people to move in. I'm currently on my second lease, month 8. Everything this place has to offer as far an amenities is great. When we moved in, we felt like we were part of a good community, we knew the apartment office workers names, they would call us if there was an issue, they would send email and text alerts, they made sure we as residents felt secure and at home. Once the new management took over, that all changed. Gone were the emails, texts, community boards, calls. Each of my roommates and myself consistently were able to pay our separate portions of the rent through the portal. With the new system, we have to either use a debit card online, which requires us to move $600+ Respectively to one persons card. Prior we were able to each pay our own chosen way, no fees unless we used our cards. Not only that, but if we choose to do a cashiers check, that also requires a fee and us moving money to one account. They did not correctly set up their portal and even though we had always paid rent on the 6th prior to new management, imagine our surprise when we go to pay on the 6th and we CANT EVEN USE OUR ACCOUNT because the payment is late. Thus having to go collect a cashiers check and had it in personally. To top it all off, I was going through some financial issues due to the loss of a family member, and I had to travel far for work. In doing so I got a flat tire, I put the donut on, the next day the donut got popped pulling out of my apartment. I parked my car in the front of the complex (not in a spot mind you, because there are only about 15 uncovered spots available) and seeing as how I had to schedule a new tire delivery and also set up a mechanic appointment, I did not go look at it for 2 days. I drove by it, I walked by it. ON MY WAY DOWN TO MEET THE TOW TRUCK to take my car to the mechanic, I notice my car is gone. I go into the office and ask (since the last management actually called me when they needed my car moved for pictures of the property) I asked if maybe that's what had happened. The person (Brittany I believe) asks "move them? Oh no" I respond with "okay well where's my car?" I tell her what car I have and she goes "ohhh yeah we had it towed because of the tire, we put a sticker on it and gave 2 days notice". I then ask "well why couldn't someone just call me? My car is on the lease and so is my number" she then responds with "well we aren't required to call you, a written notice is fine, and MOST people look at their cars". It was at this point I realized I was talking to someone who had never actually known anybody else but the people she deems worthy to be around. Not a single call. It's one of those moments that makes you question your own humanity and upbringing, and makes you realize that some people are just genuinely assholes who apparently enjoy causing other people financial stress. $800 dollars later and I have my car back. Not to mention the fee for the original tow truck I ordered to get my car to the mechanic. P.s. we have still been paying full amount for rent (which their biggest reason for charging this price is the amenities) despite all of them being closed for two months now. I don't mind them being closed, what I mind is the fact that I'm giving someone my money when I get nothing out of it. Also there's only one trash dumpster on the property and unless you live near them, good luck! Trash butlers only pick up one bag per night. Loved how this apartment complex looked and the inside looks wonderful. But the management here it terrible. I've been waiting to hear back on a work order I put in January 1st or 2 and it is currently March 6, and I still have no heard anything back from them. I've also put in another work order for other things and still nothing. I try calling the front office and I never get an answer. It's so ridiculous. I lived here for a year and a half. It was great . Lots of amenities and activities for families and kids , it was clean and everyone was friendly and very helpful. THEN Shelton residential took over and got rid of all the office staff and amenities we were all promised . I was happy to be moving out in the few months following the change. Then they sent me a bill charging me to replace a carpet. After receiving this I asked for a receipt of service. They claimed pet damage which was false ! It took them about a week to get back to me with a vendor receipt . I moved out on 2/29 the request for payment was made 2/29 according to their paper they sent me which I didn't receive in mail until late March. The vendor receipt they sent me read 4/1? So not only did they try and charge me for something that was not done they contacted the vendor after I asked for a receipt and had the carpet done only to be able to give me a receipt ! When questioned again they said no one had moved in yet and that the carpet took longer to replace. They must think I'm stupid or something. I have spoken to others who lived there and moved out under new management and they are all told diff things " we replace carpet after every tenant" "there was pet damage", office staff has been unreasonable and refuses to contact me via phone. I've been left with no other choice but to have to contact corporate and possibly a lawyer. I might also add that I moved from a one bedroom to a 2 after 6 months under the previous management and wasn't charge a dime after moving. So don't move here if you want to be falsly" charged a $500 fee for carpet replacement no matter the condition" also this place was the place to live but it went down hill fast! Don't do it. Update : reached out to Rachel which ended up being a complete waste of time ( im sure it was just so she could show she posted a nice reply to my review) all she wanted to do was state policies they have in place ... a few things that stuck out that future renters should know before deciding to either move in or adopt a pet ... " even if your pet urinates one time on the carpet , the carpets will need to be replaced " charges $500 for replacement and get this... " we give you a discount from $547 to $500) wow! Exciting ‍ When asked if this was in the lease she stuttered and stated" well not in those words" um ..... what?? So basically you pay a fee of 375$ for your deposit for a pet then $35 a month on top of the outrageous rent they charge for basically nothing. You just better hope your pet doesn't have any accidents or that's an extra $500 . Shelton residential is a horrible money seeking business which doesn't sound like they are doing too well considering I moved out on 2/29 and my apartment is still not occupied on 4/20... just save your time and money and look elsewhere . UPDATE: A few minutes after posting this review, property manager Jamie was quick to call and address my frustration. Hats off to her for taking initiative to make a positive difference in the situation. Of course, the building's infrastructure is not something she can control to change. However, she did go the extra mile to find alternative options to remedy the situation which I am now satisfied. I am grateful she channeled her energies towards finding a solution. Thank you Jamie! Superficial in the way management conducts business. Environment is a facade of niceties that do not reflect the deep rooted animosity and lack of sincerity in their approach to issues. For example, the insulation is poor and the sound issues are constant in the unit I live in both from neighbors and from the community areas. I have had to reach out to local police and their alleged security company to help deal with noise problems on multiple occasions. The proposed value on the "luxury" status claimed is disappointing especially considering the monthly rent fees are one of the highest in the area. I chose this rental property because I wished to "buy" as much "quiet enjoyment" and comfort as possible and now truly feel deceived. I will be sure to let the Liv corporate office and my connections within the Southwest Valley community know of my dismay with Liv Goodyear. Superficial in the way management conducts business. Make no mistake, this is no longer a Liv property. We loved our first 10 months here. It didn't take the new ownership very long to make this a terrible place to live. Amenities look awesome but take a close look and you soon realize there is no upkeep. Pool is filthy and disgusting, it hasn't been cleaned in 6 weeks and counting. Fire pit Is not working for 2 months, they claim parts are ordered. They have never had any community events which is what made Liv special. No cleaning or maintenance staff on weekends. The club house is not cleaned regularly. Maintenance staff is keeps busy by huddling outside the property gate smoking. Now 2 months after moving out we received a bill for $800+ for moving out 4 days late. We have documentation of our 60 day notice before our lease expired and we moved out 2 weeks early, we couldn't wait to get out. The bill we received does not even have a phone number or email listed. Of course we cannot reach anyone to get clarification. No one answers the phone. Save yourself some aggravation and disappointment and find another place to live. read more

This place has gone down hill so fast that it's sad. Our lease is not up till feb and we are so excited to be buying out and leaving this place. Once we put our 60 days noticed we asked about our buy out cost. Which we know as we have our contract. They girl comes back with the amount and it's a thousand dollar more! We of course speak up and she goes in to talk to her "manager" which couldn't come out and talk to us. The. Comes back with the amount we already know. Which is unbelievable. Also all these amenities that they claim are part of your lease is all lies. They closed down the hub since they owned this place and it's easy for them not to open it. Before there was so many events and things liv did for the residents. Now they people charging more and even more for amenities you can't even use! Gates are always broken which is so frustrating especially when you have to go to work or you come home from a long day and the gates are either locked or just open because they can't bother to get it fixed! Just two days ago some guy comes in the community and as I was walking to my apartment I noticed this man parking in a neighbors spot. I look down abs the guy is asking if these apartments are owned or renters. Then ask me all these creepy questions that I quickly run into my apartment. Anyone can just come in to this place. The gates by the pool you can just push open. The pool is so nasty we stop going. Chunks of hair and water bottles. Best part is sundays when other residents bring people and have parties out by the pool and smoking hookah and nothing is done by it. No type of consequence so of course these people will keep doing it. Also there is dog poop everywhere. Before the people that owned this place would look on the cameras and fob to see who's responsible for messing up things in the property and who isn't following rules. People would get fined if they let their animals poop and not pick it up. Also they claim they cleaning all these areas and sanitizing it every so often through out the day which is complete lies. You also put a work order in to fix something or ask for filters and light bulbs and you will never hear from someone. I had to literally stop a maintenance and asked him what does it take to get those things? So much about this place I can keep going on and on. Oh and for our walk through as they said they don't do the walk through once you leave. Trust me I will be recording and taken pictures as they have lied about other residents on carpet and things that were not damage. So we definitely making someone walk through and have everything documented. Best part you have to go in the office to even get your package. As they don't even tell you is there not email or call. We luckily get emails saying our packages was delivered from Amazon and we going crazy looking for them. Sure enough I knock the door and make that girl open it and ask for my package. As she gives it to me you can see so many packages there just sitting. One day we got one we couldn't find and thought amazon person dropped it off in the wrong place. So we contact amazon and they send another one. Then to find out the office had it all along. Took them days to let us know it was in there. Only time ever we got a message. So we are on top of it as they can't even do their job and let the residents know about their packages. Not like she's busy. The young girl that's there is always hanging out with her man and child and doesn't do her job. What's frustrating is when she's in there and the door is locked and she's playing and hanging with her little family. Easy job she don't have to do anything. They claim the pools are salt water which is now no longer that. All their advertisements on their site is so much lies to it is crazy. read more
