Lamb chops over garlic mashed potatoes

Just back from dinner at EVO's. Outstanding food and cocktails. Service was great. Food comes out as it's finished so don't expect your server to walk out with the big tray. We started with the raspberry bourbon glazed wings. Sweet with a little heat on the back end. Juicy, Crispy skin with the glaze. The braised oxtail pasta dish looked great and got rave reviews. I had the lamb chops over garlic mashed potatoes. They were perfectly cooked. Definitely a place to if you want a good meal. Everything we tried was great. Will definitely return when I'm back in town.

The service was great. The food was good. The ambiance loved it. I went during the day can't wait to experience it for a dinner.

This was our first time here but definitely not our last! Our food was amazing and the service was great. I definitely recommend asking for Chubb, he was a great waiter and very friendly! My dad got the grilled salmon and I got the lamb chops. The chef also went above and beyond, sending an additional piece of salmon for my dad since the chef thought the first one was small, even though we were happy either way since it tasted so good. But it definitely speaks to their level of guest attention here! Both the meals were excellent, as well as the complimentary bread and strawberry butter. Thanks for a great meal!

I may have one or two on my husband's phone that I still need to pull. Now, let me tell you...this place is amazing! And it was even better because our server RICO (UPDATE: I figured between the five of us, someone remember Rico, right? I just wanted to make sure I gave credit where credit was due.) He gave us just the right amount of attention without us ever having to ask twice--or even once! He kept our drinks refilled and checked in to see if we needed anything else. That kind of service makes such a difference. The interior is unique and really cool. I especially loved the idea of hanging a full-size motorcycle from the ceiling. Definitely a great conversation piece! We had a party of five, and all five of us ordered something different, ranging from a chicken salad to tacos, hush puppies, and, of course, my Chopped Brisket Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I'm already drooling again just thinking about it! The brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning. But let me talk about those sweet potato fries... THE BEST sweet potato fries I've had so far! They were crispy on the outside and actually tasted like sweet potatoes. I've had sweet potato fries at other restaurants that were soggy and tasted more like frying oil than sweet potato. These were completely different--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I 100% recommend them! So, if you're in the Charlotte area, do yourself a favor and stop by Mac's Speed Shop at 2414 Sandy Porter Road. Great food, great atmosphere, and phenomenal service. I would definitely go back!

James, the host, welcomed us with such a warm smile that, even though I'm visiting from Dallas, I immediately felt right at home. That kind of genuine Southern hospitality is hard to find and made the experience even more memorable. The food was phenomenal, and the mac and cheese tasted just like something Big Mama would make--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Every bite reminded me why great barbecue is about more than just the meat; it's about comfort, tradition, and hospitality. If you're looking for authentic BBQ, amazing comfort food, and service that makes you feel like family, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

It was a little packed since many students graduated that day but the restaurant was clean and well lit. They accommodated the whole family, which was about 8 of us. Our waitress was amazing!! bsolutely RIDICULOUS and completely unacceptable experience at LongHorn Steakhouse…read more I placed a to-go order for CURBSIDE pickup and checked in at 3:51 PM. I sat in my car and waited for 30 MINUTES, and not one person brought my food out. I finally had to go inside myself to find out what was going on. And what did I find? MY FOOD HAD BEEN SITTING ON THE COUNTER THE ENTIRE TIME. I didn't actually receive my order until 4:30 PM, and by then the food was COLD. What makes this even more infuriating is that the restaurant wasn't even busy. There was absolutely no excuse for this. If I have to get out of my car, walk inside, and find my own order, then what exactly is the point of offering curbside pickup? To make matters worse, there was NO apology, NO explanation, and NO acknowledgment of how unacceptable this was. I have already contacted CORPORATE to report this experience. If this matter is not properly addressed, I am prepared to take the next step and file a complaint with the appropriate county health department regarding the handling and serving temperature of the food. This was completely unacceptable from start to finish. Customers should not have to wait nearly 40 minutes for a curbside order, retrieve their own food from inside, and then be handed a cold meal with absolutely no apology or accountability. LongHorn Steakhouse needs to do better.

It's never a win on both. The best thing I've had here so far is the strawberry French toast--it's actually really good. Unfortunately, the worst thing I've had was the waffle portion of the chicken and waffles. The waffles were so hard that I honestly can't believe the kitchen sent them out, and I can't believe I actually tried to eat them! I really want to see this place succeed, but they definitely need to work on consistency, especially with both the food and the drinks. There's potential here, but unfortunately, my experiences so far have been more disappointing than enjoyable.

That's like charging $10 for a small shot of Hpnotic, especially without notifying that it is that much of an additional charge. I understand an upcharge, but $10 is absurd for what was a splash of Baileys. It wasn't even 1.5oz brought out in those small plastic communion cups. Upon Google review, "A $10 upcharge for a shot of Baileys Irish Cream in an espresso martini is unusually high. Normal liquor and modifier upcharges at restaurants generally range from $2 to $6. The Modifier Premium: Standard bars charge $2 to $5 to add a splash of liqueur. The Standalone Pour: High-end lounges often lack a dedicated "modifier" button for premium liqueurs in their Point-of-Sale (POS) system. The bartender is forced to ring up a full 1.5 oz to 2 oz pour, which carries a baseline lounge price of $10 to $14."
