He came out measured it an told her a price and she called around to get other bids and just told them the measurements he gave her. Everybody was higher than this guy so we decided to go with him. The guy never showed up it was his workers that did the work he said he would be there to do. Consequently they did a terrible job there is a huge discrepancy in the ground and ye bottom of the fence with as much as 9 inches of a gap in some places! They also put the gate on backwards so that it couldn't even be opened up. After they had finished I was just barley getting back in town and couldn't believe the quality of the work, and I hadn't even found out about all the things that were wrong! So I was curious to see if his measurements were right on and went out there and measured it myself and it was 20 feet less than what he had quoted us at! So I talked to him and he said that we agreed on that and so because we agreed he wasn't going to do anything! So he kept calling me and calling me until I paid him in full resentfully. Then came the uncovering of the terrible craftsmanship of his work! I called him and called him with no answer and no call back after leaving many messages even threatening litigation! Finally I contacted the bbb and after writing them they finally contacted him and he came out and said he would take care of it. Then after two weeks he finally sent his workers out here bad they fixed it but still left it in crappy condition! Then Darren, the lead, may admit that he messed up in text, but as soon we got the bill, he sure was fast to say my mother was wrong. He also needs to learn some professionalism. We needed three toilets removed, a water heater drained and moved to the garage, and three sinks disconnected (unscrew the water source, and disconnect the drain). A week later, these would all need to be reinstalled. I called All About Home Repair and they said that they couldn't give me an estimate over the phone, but they could send someone out the next day to give me a quote. If we didn't end up using them, we would pay a $39 callout fee. If we did use them, it would get credited towards the overall project cost, which seemed reasonable to me. Keaton came out and gave me a quote stating, "It will be over $2,000." I balked at the cost and said that it seemed EXTREMELY high as I have pulled a toilet before and it takes less than a half hour (and that included the time watching the YouTube video of how to do it). He asked me how much I was expecting and I told him I didn't think all of that would be over $800 on the high side. He said they couldn't do that and I said I couldn't do their price. He charged me the $39 callout fee and went on his way. I called the office Manager, Stephanie, and she was very nice to work with and talk to. With that said, I explained the situation and she said she would like to talk to Keaton and then get back with me, which she did just 15 minutes later. She told me that he had not offered me some of the packages that he could have offered (since all three toilets were at the same location), but that he never felt like he had the chance to do so. She went through the pricing with me and it still came out to about $1,200. In the mean time, I was able to secure another plumber to do the work for $600. So while I appreciated the work to get the bid down, it was still significantly higher than what the market is dictating. Stephanie was also kind enough to cancel the callout fee of $39 without me asking (which is why I bumped the rating from a 1 star to a 3 star). In conclusion, Stephanie and Keaton were both nice, but the pricing of the company is the highest I have encountered.
