The female sales associate was less than friendly. Didn't seem excited or cared that I saw their business on social media and drove 4 hours to see it. The other guy was helpful though. I was expecting ALL travel sizes though, not regular sizes too. That's fine. It was fun to look at. I felt obligated to purchase something. I felt like it was really overpriced though. A travel sized bottle of Kérastase for $20.99? No thanks! I'll buy the full size from the company and get that for free. Also, the store is very, very, small. It was nice to see it, but I highly doubt I'd ever go back.

You can also purchase your own stems to make your own bouquet, but if you have an inspiration (yet are short on time), I highly recommend using their serviecs to curate a beautiful bouquet. You can also work with them to pair a fragrance with your florals - I cannot wait to be back in Chicago to stop by them again! If you enter from the street, stay focused on the stairs; if you need wheelchair/mobility impaired access, I'd go through the side building access (by Intelligentsia). All doors are heavy either way, so be careful there too. For floral arrangements: Let them know what your inspiration is and your budget, and they'll work with you. For me, it was Sriracha tofu and I was looking for something under $100; and the florist definitely came through. I loved how quickly they picked up on the white and red themes, and incorporated the The entire experience was extremely low pressure and its a very clam environment. They make sure to ask if you need a wet bag if you won't be able to get your flowers into a vase in less than 3 hours; that's an ~$10 charge, but extremely valuable for me as I was walking around downtown with the flowers for 3 hours and wasn't able to get it into a vase for another 6 hours. I do wish I'd picked up some perfumes - they had the d'Annam, as well as a few other niche brands, that I'd been eyeing for years. So, so happy I got to smell them at long last. In addition to the testers, they give you 2 samples when you make a fragrance purchase and they do up to 3 decants in the store in case you're having a hard time deciding. If you need to wait, I recommend stopping by Intelligentsia - in the same building - before heading back over to view, accept, & pay for your order.

They carry independent and niche brands, which is what I like. I went to smell some Zernell Gillie, but I ended up taking home a Fzotic. I visited in October and the studio was decked out with black candelabras which formed a perfectly spooky vibe. There is also a small selection of home goods and lotions/hand washes as well. The candles fall within $25-50 each but sometimes go on sale. Definitely worth a trip to check out the space!

We got seated and they gave us a bunch of scents to smell and choose which ones we liked! I ended up choosing around 10-15 scents that I liked! I showed the worker and they made 4 custom scents for me to choose from! The workers were sooo kind and patient and they told me they could make more scents if I didn't like any of the ones made for me, BUT I liked all of them!! I ended up choosing one, they make it for you, and give you your own bottle to take home! They save your profile online too so that if you ever run out of the scent you ordered they can remake it and ship it to you! Love this experience, it was cute, intimate, and so unique!!! Definitely would recommend as a date, activity with friends, or just for a fun way to treat yourself(:
