Frankly, none of your tenants care about your warranty. Greystar is a 80 billion dollar corporation they can fight for their money instead your tenants rights are being infringed upon due to them wanting to save money. On site management states no concessions will be offered and to utilize our RENTERS INSURANCE for additional costs that arise from this. Which, is honestly asinine I did humor it and reach out to my renter's insurance and they very quickly shared that building maintenance IS ON THE BUILDING and expeditiously provided information to report code violations to the fire department and contact information to the Fair Housing Association (you might want to not keep telling people to call renter's insurance) Prior to moving in I thought the negative reviews were from people being complainers or having extreme high standards but NOPE. I've heard from numerous residents that the elevators regularly malfunction in the community with the longest duration of time being 3 weeks. I cannot at the time recommend anyone move into this community. It's important to live in a community that sees your humanity and fights for the rights of its tenants. SPECIFICALLY HUMAN RIGHTS, CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. I unfortunately have no trust in Novel Cary nor Greystar due to how the ball was dropped and overall lack of urgency. There are many residents including myself with differing levels of health, fitness and mobility even expectant mothers whom have been struggling to manage day to day living tasks with no support and/or results from Novel or Greystar. The joy and happiness you typically have from moving has been shattered due to Novel Cary, Greystar Property Management and OTIS's tenant neglect! At this price point you can most definitely find more consistent, reliable, humane, comfortable living conditions with working elevators elsewhere. Mortgage prices for slumlord living conditions and subpar response times is crazy.
