They scraped the old ceiling finish off, and relocated and replaced a busted attic access. The rehung multiple doors, replaced busted deck steps, and built a huge fence and RV gate for me. The work was extensive, and the pricing for the fence was super reasonable and it came out crazy nice! Honestly I was surprised at the quotes as I expected them to try to take me to the cleaners as most of the contractors I have dealt with out here were super pricey. Change out a light switch plate? Sure, for twenty bucks. Here's the kicker though, and what sets them apart from the rest; I live in AZ. Giving contractors access to a house unsupervised can make the most trustworthy person think twice. I have cameras set up throughout my house though, and every day they were there early in the morning, doing the work without needing to be supervised. Every night they cleaned up after themselves and locked up and not once did I catch any of their guys in the master bedroom trying on the wife's lingerie when nobody was looking. Nadja stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and never got annoyed at my repeated questions, or 'suggestions' no matter how stupid they were. Hometown Handyman rocks to say the least. From the process of getting a bid all the way through completion of the job, Don was friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Of the three painters that we received bids from, All About Paint was the only one to provide a written quote and a written contract of services that outlines exactly what will be provided. All About Paint painted the entire exterior of our house, which is wood composite siding. They did an incredible job, with great attention to detail, including things I never would have thought to ask for. The trim work is excellent, and Don also made sure that the concrete foundation was painted all the way around the house. They painted the roof of the porches to match our new trim color, and even repainted our rusty garage door lights. The entire job for our two story home was complete in one week. There were as many as 7 crew on the job each day, and they were all kind and respectful of our property. Don, the owner, was there at least once a day to at least check on things, but also did a lot of painting himself. One day Don had pizza delivered to his crew for lunch, which I thought really showed that he valued them as employees. They cleaned everything up perfectly - you would have never known that they were ever there, except for the great new paint job, which we've received many compliments from neighbors on. Don called me a week after completing the job, just to check in and make sure we were happy with everything. Then a couple weeks later, when I had a leak in our roof, he went out of his way to help me find a roofer. If you want your paint job done right, All About Paint is the way to go IMO.

Sprayed the decks - & oversprayed the shingles, painted all the rocks around the house, missed painting several areas, took all leftover paint. What a mess! Every day was a new nightmare. Charged for painting both sides of doors - only did outside with latex paint. I had to repaint doors myself with proper enamel. Blamed me for distance to house, him scheduling to work on gf's bday weekend, the rain, his brother ditching job after 1 day - all the customer's fault. In a bind, I talked him into coming back 1 day to finish outside. Next day - called to find him. 10 am his gf calls, says he took a drywall job & they would find me someone. Sent me a joker with no painting experience or tools - ran him off after 2 hours. He was an emotional mess, unprofessional, tried to threaten me, didn't even finish the outside. Paid him in full for outside & told him if he or anyone associated w him contacted me I would press charges. Military people finish the job. Stay far away from this guy unless you like emotional roller coaster messes. Ken - best not to respond since you know it's all true.

There is nothing legit about this company. I contacted them about renovation work on a house I…read morebought. Eric came to the house, and was very agreeable, and I thought I liked him for the job. He came up with a bid, and we agreed to go forward. The total bid was around $15,000. I had to pay him $9,000 to "secure myself as the next job he did". He gave me a rough estimate of when he could start. Within that time, I had a series of bad luck, and was forced to sell the house. I called him and explained my situation. At first he said he would give me a complete refund, but later that day he sent me a long text about being a Godly man, and being that, he couldn't give me a refund. After texting with him some more, he agreed to refund me $5,300. I only ever got $4,500 back from him. I'm guessing it was all he had left of my money, because he's borrowing from Peter, to pay Paul. I am now debating small claims court for my remaining money. All in all, I knew this guy for a month. Don't waste your money, time, and hopes on this guy.
