Have been a customer since it opened a long time ago. Always had great customer service, until I…read morewent in to get 3 boxes for moving bottles that I mostly had bought from LP. But the teller said maybe only take 2 cuz we may need them for our customers. There was a HUGE stack of boxes there. Come back tomorrow he said. I said. I AM A customer... in the end took 2 boxes. HOW FRUSTRATING, ALL over a box... Sad... but there's many more places to buy liquor and get boxes.

It's a big bright store with lots of selection that you won't find at other liquor stores. This store is Vancouver Islands largest privately owned liquor store. There are big dinosaurs and other animal statues and figures placed all over the store. I was so entertained walking around the store. There was a giant aquarium at the back of the store too. Every isle I went down I found something to laugh at. They carry a good selection of beers, wines and liquors. I also noticed a few specials going on too! It was easy to find what I needed. Signs were posted over each display. The staff were super friendly at checkout. Parking was also a breeze because the store has its own parking lot. I can't wait to go back on my next visit to Victoria!

He then told me he can no longer serve me because I had had a drink, and it was against his serving it right ticket. I was being nothing but respectful, mask on, walked there. I see people clearly intoxicated at this location all the time buying alcohol with no questions asked. This isn't a new rule placed with serving it right, Its just someone taking the course a little too far. I was refused service because I had my 14 year old Daughter with me , as I was getting her a bottle of coke and chip a staff member ( girl) came up and asked my daughter for her I.D. you could clearly see she was only 14 and had no idea what she had done wrong to be treated like this, she looked at me with confusion and said what ????. I was told, I saw her picking out drinks, just because my daughter was standing next to me as I grabbed my alcohol doesn't mean it was for her. is it better to let the kids just run around anywhere in the shop, I was doing the right thing by keeping my kid with me , this girl thought she was a smart ass security officer. How many times have people had there kids next to them as they buy the Friday night drink. A lot, I see it all the time. You could see from me trying to buy pop and chip there was no miss intention on my behalf at all. Nothing I said made any difference, this girl was so rude and just refused to listen , But because my daughter was even in the store with me the idiot girl refused me service to buy any alcohol, , I wasn't even allowed to buy just the pop I was asked to leave the store , I was told by this girl it is illegal for ANYONE to be in a liquor store under the age of 19. ( Is this true). Does that mean all those people with little kids buying a drink should leave the kids alone in there cars from now on. . I will be posting this message to as many people as I know to stop them from buying at this liquor store .

As my hand reached for the door handle and went to open it, a gross sticky feeling, as I wrapped my fingers around the nasty bar. I open the door to a cloud of air smelling like decaying fish. The first few steps were awkward and disturbing, the whole staff was staring at me like I was someone who was going to steal. They followed me around the whole store. I said hello and they didn't say anything back they just glared and stared me down like I was a criminal. I decided to get a box of beer to get the hell out of hell. I dodged around the staff members in the tiny, skinny isles. To make it to the front desk. I say "hello" she snarls back with spiteful spit projectiles with a crude voice thundering behind it " ID" . I pass her my credentials. At the time I got my picture taken I had a beard but at this moment I was clean shavin. She looks up at me and said "do you think I'm dumb?" "With all do respect I just want my beer and to go." She twists her head in a jerking motion ninety degrees, silently conversing with the staff in the isles. She whips her head back at me, and we make fierce eye contact once more. I was sweating. She says with a voice that is almost a yell"No". "Pardon me" I retort. She says "you're an idiot to think that I'm going to sell you booze with a fake ID, get out of here before I call the police!" So like an sane person I grabbed my licence and got the hell out of hell.
