    I've gone to Dr. Fritz for the last couple years for everything from regular check ups to pink eye…read moreemergencies. He's a fast talker- definitely not the kind to hold your hand and take his time. But I don't mean that in a bad way. He's kind of like a hummingbird. He knows his stuff, he gets to the point, and he's gone. He's also brutally honest. The whole staff is. I've mentioned wanting new glasses and he's told me he will have the prescription ready to go for me and he "doesn't care" of I buy my glasses there. He seems more interested in taking care of your vision than selling you stuff. He's also told me my prescription didn't change enough for me to NEED new ones but I could get them if I wanted. Phil, the contacts guy (I've only ever spoken to him about contacts) is funny, personable, and again, honest. I have the same prescription in each eye but don't wear contacts regularly. He sold me one box. Just one not a bunch. Not that standard year supply that costs a couple hundred and you must get all 23 boxes in order to be eligible for the $5 rebate. Just one and said based on my use it should last me 6 months. He also sold me a brand of contacts that I've never heard of but after he listened to my comments and concerns knew exactly what to recommend. And he was right. Love my contacts. Staff is friendly and courteous. Never had any billing issues. I bought my frames online and brought them in and they put basic lenses in for me. Again the honesty; the frames lady asked if I wanted regular lenses or "all the extra stuff that just makes them more expensive" lol Okay then. Turn around time was about a week as they had to be sent out. Dr. Fritz was the only one to diagnose my repetitive bouts of pink eye as being related to my seasonal allergies and not poo particles in my ocular cavity. Also, they are not kidding when they tell you to call them when you arrive with pink eye. Call from the car, someone comes out opens all doors and takes you straight to a room. Slightly disconcerting but I appreciate the thoroughness. Means they're doing it with everyone else too. I'd rather wait a week and get knowledgable, honest service than be sold a ton of stuff I don't need just to get my glasses in an hour.

    Im been a Pearl Vision customer for many years and today I can say I won't be back. It took 4…read moremonths for them to get my contacts order correct and they still want me to pay for them when everything was paid from the beginning. During the 4 month of waiting for my contacts I was calling them once a week as they keep saying that the contacts should be arriving soon and that they will give me a call within the 24 hours to provide an update on my order. They won't keep they promise and never call me back and when I asked for the credit for the old contacts now they just act like this is not going to happen and they don't need to give this credit but wants to take my old contacts back as they are not expired and intact. Very disappointed of them I used to love Pearl Vision but is time to move on.

    I am a repeat customer to the Pearle Vision Crest Hill location. I have typically had fairly good…read moreand professional service; however, this year the service is horrible! The owner of the franchise assisted me and I found him to be incredibly rude. When he helped me, my lens order was supposed to be submitted as progressive lenses; however, when the order came in they were single vision lenses. The order then had to be resubmitted for the lenses to be corrected to progressive lenses. I was told that it should take between approximately 7 - 10 business days for the corrected order to come in. We are now past that timeline and I have called the Crest Hill location on at least 3 separate occasions to get a status on my order and received promises of a call back and the representatives do not call back. This occurred "twice" in which Dominic promised to call me back and never did. I just called yet again and this time spoke to Michelle who has promised to call me back to provide a status on my order. I will now await to see if she follows through after I have specifically told her of the repeated times that I have failed to receive a call back. When I attempted to escalate this to the Franchise owner, I was told that he was not in the office. Needless to say, I am NOT happy with this level of service. It is completely appalling and totally unacceptable. It is also quite disappointing that I have observed that their current staff appears to be made up of very-little-to-no racial diversity whatsoever (I did not see ANY racial diversity) despite being located in a racially diverse community. 7/6 5:29pm Michelle called me back and informed me that the "corrected" order came into the store but it is STILL INCORRECT and are STILL single vision lenses, when they should be Progressive lenses!!! Therefore, now she is stating that the order must be resubmitted AGAIN! My original eye exam and eyeglass order was done on 5/27 and it's now 7/6 and I STILL don't have my correct prescription order!! This is THE WORST customer service experience that I have EVER had with completing an eyeglass order! I would NOT recommend their service!!!
