Our plumber Cody with Roto Rooter spoke with "Santana" after 5:00 PM yesterday 5/23/25 and ordered a control valve for our Bradford White gas water heater and was told by Santana that I could pick it up anytime after 8:00 AM today. I drove there just after 8:00 AM both doors locked with a sign indicating closed in observance of Memorial Day. Scott the plumber for Roto Rooter arrived there shortly after I did . He called Santana again leaving a voice mail followed by another Roto Rooter man who Scott told me he was the Lead Plumber who contacted someone with this store who told him he would contact someone to get the part from Will Call which after hours of waiting no call back,no appearance on location which is not only disrespectful, unprofessional and down right disgusting!! My wife suffers with a heart condition, diabetes and lymphodema which has literally crippled her which requires her to utilize a walker, cane or wheelchair which is really tough for a 81 year old woman who was a picture of health just under two years ago. I'm her husband for 36 years and her primary care provider at home and I'm a 76 year old man with bad vision in my left eye. Due to the seriousness of her health issues I don't leave her alone for more than one hour. I was at this store for almost four hours which is totally ridiculous and Scott from Roto Rooter can substantiate. I sent a text to Scott earlier this afternoon asking if he heard from Ferguson to which he said NO and apologized. I have been in business for 45 years as a C-Level Executive for major telecommunications companies in 43 states and 18 countries and NEVER failed to communicate with my clients following a commitment for anything NO EXCUSES, NO EXCEPTIONS and expect reciprocal treatment !!! Santana failed Ferguson Plumbing miserable and it cost Roto Rooter anx myself lost time which equates to lost money and horrific Inconvenience and discomfort for my wife of 36 years. In closing I located a after hours number of 800-217-9780 and briefly spoke to a rude ill informed lady whom interrupted me speaking to her three times in a few short minutes and told me she couldn't help once she heard me say my location was Greensboro, NC she said I called California and she only handles CA & TX. We recently hired Stone Studio to install a new kitchen sink and granite countertops. We were…read moredisappointed in the workmanship as well as customer service. Here are the major issues: 1) The measuring and/or cutting for the kitchen desktop was off (too long). Instead of having the slab trimmed, the installers forced it into place & punched a long hole through the wall's sheetrock. Stone Studio resolved this by providing a granite backsplash around the desktop to hide the hole. 2) The strip of granite between the wall and the hole for the sink is too narrow. We had expressed concern about this when selecting our sink & were assured by David (co-owner) that the sink we were considering would fit with absolutely no problem. Our faucet fit only by rigging it with extra parts sold at Home Depot, but the faucet base still scrapes the backsplash. Having researched faucet measurements online, it is clear that we will have extreme difficulty finding another faucet that will fit when this one needs to be replaced. We were told that Stone Studio considers this a successful installation. 3) After installation a crack was discovered in the new sink. It is not Stone Studio's procedure to open & visually inspect a sink prior to installation. It took about 45 minutes to contact David (co-owner), at which point he said he would try to find another sink the next day. Late the next day, a Thursday, we received an email saying one would have to be ordered. A full week after the initial installation, they finally had a new sink to install. If we hadn't done the plumbing ourselves we would have had to pay plumbers for multiple trips. Instead we had to install, remove and reinstall the faucet on our own time to make our kitchen functional. 4) The overhang on the counter side with kitchen stools is longer than the Stone Studio contract (and online resources) recommend without brackets; it was intended to be within guidelines but was measured/cut incorrectly. Justin (co-owner) said that it was close enough & will probably be fine with normal use; no remedy was made. We had to buy and install brackets to ensure the overhang doesn't break off. Our disappointment in customer service stems from a lack of urgency to address problems, lack of concern about the inconvenience caused, and resistance to acknowledge most of the problems. It was only as the final payment came due on the last day of the job that either owner apologized for "any inconveniences" or "hiccups" that had occurred.

Well I got back in my car knowing that Great Stops is the next gas station on the way. For the first time in my life I ran out of gas in the middle lane on Wendover Avenue. I got out to push to the side and another driver finally stopped to help as did the 2 gentlemen from "TWO MEN AND A TRUCK." They started pushing and I offered to swap when safe. So we start pushing like we're trying to make the NFL Combine! Driver gets my car right into the entrance of the gas station. By the time the other mover and I get there, two more folks have it to the pump. I fill up, bring them round to their truck, and off we all go to work. Talk about living up to your company name and motto! Well I hope not to have to use them in the future for any type of move whether it's my car or my home, if this is the attitude and helpfulness, I have to recommend them with five stars and I will be eternally grateful for them helping me to my safety.

The last time I called they said he'd be in today, so today I called and again they say he's out. I ask if he'll be in later and they say they didn't think so. I inform them that I was told Saturday that he'd be in on Monday. The guy on the phone said Donald was working at the Winston Salem location today. So, I called the Winston Salem location and the phone just rang and rang until it timed out. So, I called a second time and the same thing happened. I thought perhaps the number online was incorrect, so I called the Kernersville location back and they confirmed I had the right number. They said, "Maybe they're just busy?" I'm not sure if they're busy, but at this point I know they're incompetent! It is the day before Thanksgiving and as a last minute idea I decided to smoke my turkey using the Traeger turkey and brine pellet combo. I looked online and saw Ace carried the product and had it in stock so I placed the order online. After an hour or so I had not heard anything about being able to pick it up so I tried to call the store 19 times! I wish I was being sarcastic, but I am being literal. I got no answer any of the 19 calls, I called the corporate number to check on my order. They confirmed that the store was in fact OPEN, so there was no reason for them not to be answering. I was also ensured that my order was ready for pick up. I drove one hour to the location only to find out that the store closed at 1pm. Before I placed the order I checking google and their Facebook page to make sure they were open, which they were supposed to be. Apparently I was not the only one surprised by this because there were six other people that were attempting to enter the store while I was trying to understand this stupidity of this circumstance. I decided to call the corporate number to cancel my order and they were just as confused as be about them being closed. Apparently they also had no knowledge that one of their stores was closing early. They told me I should file a complaint. I typically would not complain about something like this because I understand that employees need time with their families for holidays, but to not make any update of this information in a location that a customer would look is completely ridiculous from a business point of view. If you are looking for any products they carry I can assure you there are more dependable and reliable places not too far from here. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.
