Let me start off by saying that although we didn't end up getting our car through Central Sales, we…read morehad such a wonderful experience with them that I needed to write a review. My husband first spoke with Ray, who he felt he had an immediate connection with and easy, flowing communication about our vehicular needs. But Ray was going on vacay, and we couldn't wait until he got back to complete our car buying experience with him. Enter, Roy - Ray's bro. Roy was AWESOME. He took the time to REALLY answer my questions in a way that I could understand, and didn't try to push cars on me that were out of my price range. He was an excellent listener and ended up bringing out a car that day to our house for my hubby and me to test drive. Let me pause for a moment to say just how smart this business model is - I mean, with 2 kids under 4 years old, it's a PITA to get to a dealership and take turns test driving a car and then waiting around for hours to purchase the car while the kids go cray cray. Central Sales is part of Ron Tonkin (I think...), so they have a huge inventory of cars to pull from, which they bring to you to test drive, and then they arrange all the financing for you to find the lowest APR, and then bring the paperwork to you when they deliver the car. It takes about 10 minutes to sign everything. All for no extra fee. Brilliant. Other dealerships should take note. But what made everything so super was the truly no-pressure attitude of Roy (and I imagine everyone else he works with). He was super nice and completely understanding when I told him that we were also test-driving a car from another dealership later that day. He reiterated that he just wanted to make sure that we got into the right car for us. And I believed him! We ended up doing the whole take-the-kids-to-the-dealership-and-wait-an-excrutiatingly-long-time-to-purchase-a-vehicle thing. But only because the vehicle that was there was the one we wanted in the end. But we will DEFINITELY use Central Sales again when it's time to buy a car. Thanks Roy!

My daughter needed a car and I found one online at this place…read more We drove an hour and a half to check the car out. The salesman we had was super friendly. He found the car we were interested in and we took it for a test drive. It seemed to be perfect and decided to get it. Unfortunately, it took 3+ hours just to get through the paperwork. We negotiated the price, shook hands and signed on the X. Once he came back with the paperwork, he also came back with a mechanical disclosure. He proceeded to tell us all the problems with the car. The sway bars and bushings needed to be replaced. The water pump may have issues since thier mechanics noticed water spots around the water pump. What? We are spending over 16k for a car and NOW they disclose the problems? The salesman told us they just started doing things differently now. Well..that doesn't seem fair. We agreed on a price. I signed papers. We couldn't back out now. Rush hour was hitting and I wanted to get home ASAP. We ended up getting the car anyway and drove home. The car drove home fine. However, we have yet to fix the problems. Very disappointed with that process.

I have bought 4 cars from these guys and I feel it's time to give them a very Honest review. one…read morecar was great, had little problems, one care was ok, i ended up not liking it so traded it in for another car after it got broken into, which is the car that was real great and lasted me a long time, until it was stolen twice. the last two however I had problems. One which was a temp car while my car was stolen the first time, had many problems, and now the one i bought instantly after driving off the lot, the next day kicked up a check engine light flashing brake light and all sorts of other stuff. it i now being fixed and is costing me an extra 1200. now i know this is a used car dealer and I won't hold anything against them but two out of 4 cars driving off and having check engine lights come on is an obvious reset and pass the problem to the buyer. Gary was good and honored the first one, I don't think he is around anymore so I didn't bother coming back because it's so far away and it would just be a cheap fix (if they honored it). I never see the original people there that i am used to so I think this place might be under new management and it's deceptive. The car i traded in just about 5-6 days ago is already up for sale and i know the problems of that car is major and no way they got it all fixed in that time. I look at used car dealers the same i look at casinos, and when the odds aren't in your favor, it is time to go to a new casino. I'd like to say thanks for the great car, and the problems with the new ones, the plus to this place is they do offer cheap cars, just roll them dice and see what happens in the next couple days. The is no way they could have not known those check light issues, it was an obvious reset.

Avoid this dealership at all costs…read more Went to the dealership to buy a truck advertised on craigslist. This is what happened. 1. When I asked to test drive, they found that they had lost the key to the truck. I was asked to return 3 hours later. Upon returning, the key they had promised to order from Chevrolet still wasn't there. I had to wait another hour for them to figure out who was going to go get it. 2. Once on the test drive, I was advised by the owner that they had all service records for the vehicle. Upon signing, they had *lost* them. 3. I was told I would be given a 21 day trip permit - again, once I gave them cash for the vehicle, I was told that they were out of 21 day trip permits. I was given a 10 day trip permit instead 4. As of today, 6 weeks after the purchase, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE TITLE. So I have a truck that I haven't been able to drive for the past 4 and 1/2 weeks. I can't register it, I can't get tags. 5. I've called numerous times regarding this issue. The first time I was referred to the DMV. The DMV says that there has been no activity on the title. The second time I called I was told to call right back and ask for the manager. I called back, it went to voicemail. So, I've given this dealership 4,500 cash for a truck I can't drive. It would have taken one phone call to resolve this on their part, but now I'm forced to call my lawyer. Buyer beware.
