They have come through with flying colors EVERY TIME. Big orders, small orders, custom orders, rush jobs, and everything in between - they even do custom art and design and come up with exactly what I want when sometimes I don't even know what I want when I walk in. Mickey, Shawn, & Darryl are awesome. Well before this Michaels opened its doors people around here were giddy with excitement over its…read morearrival. So much so, in fact, that you would have thought that there wasn't another store of its kind anywhere nearby. The poor folks at Hobby Lobby up the street were probably thinking "What are we, chopped liver??" When it did finally open it became apparent why everyone was so eager to shop here. This big, bright new store has everything arts and crafts related that you could want and then some. I won't pretend that I'm creative enough to know what to do with most of the stuff but it's nice to know that it's available should I suddenly feel inspired to take on some kind of craft project. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like self checkouts - as long as they work of course (I'm looking at you Kroger!) And they have plenty here, making it faster and easier to get out the door and get started on your latest venture. If that's not your thing though, I believe there's still at least one human operated register available at all times. Michaels also has a reward program that is worth signing up for if you do a lot of crafting. Even if you don't, it still doesn't hurt to accrue some points that may lead to a discount one day.

San Bay was the one we selected because of (1) their willingness to use our existing electronic files to create their print patterns and stitch programs, (2) the samples the did for us looked amazing, (3) the prices quoted were very reasonable compared to the local competition, and (4) the speed of delivery was flipping amazing. On the final point, most of the competition was saying a 2-week minimum to obtain the finished goods. San Bay was able to deliver in a week. The final product looks really good, even in the intricate detail areas of our logo. We will be a returning customer.
