Mrs. Carnivore and I decided to try disc golf. We figured the Aussies use boomerangs to hunt with, so maybe a Frisbee could be similarly purposed. Step one was to find a local expert and acquire knowledge and necessary equipment.
I determined that my current location was near Everyday Disc Golf, and proceeded to confirm with the website that as it was 11:15am, the shop would be open. I arrived at approximately 11:30 to a locked business with no lights on, and a sign proclaiming the hours to be from 11am-7pm. I called the business phone number, and those hours were confirmed.
I waited and watched two groups of would-be customers visit the store to no avail. One of the would-be customers asked some of the other businesses, and was told the proprietor generally rolled in around noon or so. NOON OR SO! If you are going to have a business with public hours that are available on the internet, a storefront sign, and in voice mail, maybe you should care enough to be open during those hours. I departed, and will not darken this doorstep ever again. I instead made the drive to a town known as Little Canada, to a store named Delta Disc Golf.
