It's great until you have a problem - then you're up the creek without a paddle. If you like unreasonably loud neighbors (who likely have caused bug issues) - this is your place. Otherwise, avoid it. Update 2: After the leasing office got involved, the noise is 85% down. We are waiting to see response if it starts up again. Update: I have been in contact with the leasing office and have received some support. I will update as this goes on. While the apartment complex itself is great, and we have never have had problems with the complex itself, we have had an ongoing issue with unruly upstairs neighbors who day and night are responsible for loud noises and interruptions, with no intention from the leasing office to help despite the fact we have multiple witnesses and recordings of the noise day and night. We are considering moving and likely will have to fight with the complex to do so, as they require 60 day notice. Just a notice for anyone with sound issues, make sure to get a third floor unit or be weary - if you're unlucky like us, you won't get much help.

Whenever I had a maintenance issue it was taken care of within hours or immediately if it was an emergency. The community is full of wonderful people. I made some amazing friendships with my neighbors here and will be truly sad to leave them when we move. The pool is great and they have plenty of grills around to use. They have a little fenced area and woods for you to talk your dogs to potty. There is also a trail a couple of blocks away. If you are a stay at home mom this place is a dream. You can walk to Harris Teeter, CVS, Publix, or even Earth Fare if you are really adventurous. My spouse and I love that we can walk to Killingtons, a delicious pub that is a 5 minute walk. The apartment itself is not super fancy but the bathrooms were big for an apartment. The carpet is meh, but it's an apartment. I love the little patio we have. So lovely on a warm night in our rocking chairs. I think they are doing renovations so it may be even nicer here. I would prefer this place over other apartments in the area. Better parking than what my friends have across Gilead rd.

Lets start with the emergency maintenance number ( that the name already says, EMERGENCY, but no one answered the 2 times I needed. They play like you never called or that you have the wrong number, but you call the number that was sent to you by email. Maintenance guys need to pickup sheet from people that is too lazy to take care of their own dog poop. The dog play or (poop palace), is more stray cats big area to poop, or people that take their dogs there and DONT collect the poop. Even when they offer poop bags all over. The pool and the BBQ area is now open and on weekends, you see people using and they don't even live there. So, how you will use if you don't feel safe. ANYONE can have access there. Cameras around the complex, does not exist. If want your safety, buy your own cameras and door bells. Full of rules that most residents do not follow, and their biggest annoyance is dogs (specifically) of a certain breed, which is certainly just prejudice. Never saw a place that is pet friendly but you will have issues because you have a big dog. The MANAGER once told me ( NOT EVERYONE LIKES DOGS), who is the wrong? Who does not like dogs and goes live in a pet friendly community or who have the dog? People even call the police and waist their time and our tax money with this kind of thing. Just ridiculous! I have a ESA Lab pit mix (well behave, actually more educate than people). And they made me sign a paper where I had to share what kind of problem I have/what is the reason I have a ESA dog. Which is something personal and by LAW should NOT be asked. When I refuse to say, they answer my email that need the information. Even when they had the papers from the DOG doctor. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Back to the cleaning and animals around I have a camera on my balcony and I see cats on my balcony during the night. And animals needs to be on a LEASH. There's a guy that put food outside for the stray cats. There's dogs that the office does not even know that they exist. Or better saying, they do, but they close there eyes. The trash, sometimes is full of thing and people brings more and put on the floor / on the grass.. Disgusting! Also, as an open building complex with NO CAMERAS, people who does NOT live there, brings their trash in the car to use our dumpsters and we pay a fee for. Every single month. The landscaping company, its a big joke and how they get money its funny. They don't cut the grass as they should. They do superficial. So every 15 days they need to return to cut. How do I know. We had a lot of toys, bag with bottle of water that people make our yards as trash and was NOT even affected by the machine. Just a few examples of what happens there

The property sits right next to a…read morewater waste plant that gives off strong odors and releases air pollutants that may be harmful to residents' health. There have also been concerns about the water quality, including reports of E. coli contamination -- which is unacceptable for a residential community. The management team has a long history of dishonesty and lack of accountability. They often try to twist residents' words or claim you agreed to things you didn't. They breach lease agreements and rely on tenants not knowing their legal rights. Be cautious when dealing with management -- they will say whatever benefits them rather than address legitimate issues. Maintenance is no better. Work orders are neglected, and when you press for answers, they may turn it around and make false statements instead of fixing the problem. Even more concerning, there are major safety issues on the property. Some residents reportedly have serious criminal backgrounds, including violent offenses, and management appears to overlook this. The overall environment feels unsafe and poorly supervised. If you care about your health, safety, and fair treatment, avoid Trevi Village Blvd at all costs. There are far better options in Mecklenburg County that won't risk your well-being or your peace of mind. When I finished suing these slum lords I'll post every video

There were plenty of organized activities for residents if they chose to participate and the grounds were well maintained. Only recommendation/request I would have is that they replace the refrigerators with a freezer at bottom and refrigerator at top model - older people just can't bend so low to find "things." Was a tactical debacle and always required a serious search and rescue of spoiled or nearly spoiled food. We found it quite valuable that the Glens orchestrated taking the residents' large trash and recycle cans to the curbs on trash day as well as returning the empty cans to their concealed location. They have valet trash pickup, now I am stuck loading my nasty trash in my new Lexus to haul it off. The pool there is great and so is the peace. I always felt safe walking from my car to my apartment whether it was day or night. I miss the open parking area where as now I am stuck squeezing my car into a designated parking spot with a car on the left that looks like they took a nice slide against a guard rail, and the other side is a huge work truck that I cringe to as I hear them pulling up thinking there is no way they arent gonna hit my car getting out. For being our first apartment, we were a little uneasy because we have always rented privately. Wendy, our office manager couldn't have made the change for us any easier. No matter what hiccup came up trying to get into the apartment, she was willing to work with us religiously. She made us feel like we were the only occupants there. If I had any questions, guaranteed she was working on it and I had an email or phone call back close to immediately. The layout of the apartment made it feel like my husband and I could do everything as a family with my son. I could always monitor his bedroom door, I could serve dinner and still have conversation with both my guys whether they ate at the table or livingroom as I was cleaning up. It is all the way around a place I honestly didn't realize I was taking for granted until my son's school district changed and we had to move. Hopefully, he will be driving in the next year. If so, and we are still renting, we will make Tower Place our home again. I want to thank Wendy for all the things she didn't have to do to make my life easier, but she did. Thanks to all the staff for how well the property was kept and the things I didn't realize I would miss so badly!
