He gave an initial verbal quote of $3,200 for a complete job (mowing, tree trimming, edging, weed-eating, removing a large tree with the stump, and sod). I asked how much without the large tree, and Luis adjusted his offer to $700. We continued walking the property; the gentleman changed the price to $3,000. I shared that I wanted to wait on the tree and asked a second time for the estimate without the tree. His offer changed to $800 w/o the tree (an increase of $100)! I explained that I'm waiting on two more estimates and would call him this weekend. Friday during the dinner hour, Mr. Rodriguez called to say that his crew would arrive the next day to start work. I politely reminded Luis that I was waiting on estimates and would contact him by Saturday. He thanked me, and the call ended. In less than a minute, Luis calls back, yelling that I had an agreement with him and that I couldn't do this to him as he called in a crew to work the next day. I work in customer service (25 years), and I'm slow to anger, but the gaul. This is the owner acting this way. I just can't recommend this service for anyone with the moving target quotes, slick maneuvers, and bully tactics. Stay away!

Well, they did not grind the stump, instead the yanked them out of the ground pulling up huge sections of my drip line. If they had ground down the stump as contracted to do, I would NOT have to replace huge sections of the drip line. This left my yard a mess with splinter wood all over the place. And they did give a rats about tearing up my lawn.

They executed the job immediately upon arrival, they took three trees down and cleaned up our yard and in front of our house beautifully! I'm not sure how much he's paid for the service. Cesar, the arborist that came to do the inspection and estimate for this work tried to do the pruning in a way that did no harm to any of the trees involved. One neighbor needed to have a 'weight reduction' on two trees as they were tall and swayed quite a bit in high winds. This service took about 15% off upper limbs, which also reduced the strain on the root system. There is a definite reduction of fear that these trees might come down in a bad storm. The other neighbor needed one 'dead' tree removed, and another live tree removed as it was leaning over a neighbor's property. The crew that did all of this work was there on time (actually early), Each worker was aware of the scope of work to be done. They were very efficient as each worker had an assigned task. The climbers used all of the safety equipment I could have imagined being necessary. Cleanup was very thorough, and left the properties in the same or better condition than when the job was started. Please note that Atlanta Arbor is covered with both liability as well as workers comp insurance coverage. I will certainly use them again as the need arises.

The crew arrived right on time, were careful, and cleaned up so well, they left things better than when they got here! They were priced competitively, took care of the permitting, and got the work done in a timely manner. Beyond that, they cleaned up after themselves and had our property looking immaculate afterwards. The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Northside does excellent work and I recommend them if you need a tree taken down.
