The information we gathered from the community were "wonderful school educationally/socially, loving/caring educators/administrators and overall a top notch school." We did visit other schools, but none even compared to Palisades Country Day Scool. Our experience so far, has been exactly what others described the school. The staff/teachers/administrators were wonderful, always kept in constant communication with us and again most importantly, the school itself had a loving/caring/fun energy that we felt when we first walked in. We visited other schools in the area that were not even comparable. My four year old boy is currently in his second year at Palisades Day School and always asks on Fridays, "how many more days until I go back to school?" I am extremely impressed what he has learned so far educationally combined with a very fun atmosphere. In addition, to the Day Scool, they also offer day camp. Both of my boys attended the camp for 2 years. Walking into the camp is like walking into a kids fantasy land: several pools, creative and fun activities, slides, basketball courts, wood blocking stations, pool lessons/free swim, science stations and even a little zoo and I could go on and on. My 7 year old boy is as picky as it gets with everything, but when he came home every single day with a smile ear to ear confirmed to us this was the best decision for our children: the school and the day camp.

This was a great value boost and the facilities were new and clean. We are extremely happy with our choice. The staff is friendly and responsive and our son loves his teachers. He has never had an issue being dropped off for the day (full day). Miss Karol has always been special to Cooper but he also is thriving with her new teacher, Miss Wendy since he moved up to the Toddler class. Everbrook Academy Closter is a wonderful, clean and caring establishment and our son is thriving here.

KinderCare, Old Tappan, NJ to the rescue! I called KinderCare, Old Tappan, NJ, and spoke with the Director, Ms. Jessica Epstein. She understand the urgency of the situation, and scheduled a same - day, evening tour (7 PM) so my husband could attend too. My son's future Teacher, Ms. Amanda also stayed late for the tour. The tour was detailed, organized, and thorough. Every question I had, had a thoughtful (and transparent) answer. My son gravitated to Ms. Amanda like they were long - lost friends; followed her directions; cleaned up the toys he began playing with; and upon leaving, gave the Director, Ms. Epstein a long, warm hug. He didn't want to let go! KinderCare, Old Tappan, NJ was friendly, supportive, and warm. I emailed the enrollment forms that evening. YIPPEE my son had a school, and it was great! .....but, never one to shy away from doing my due diligence, I kept the 7 other school tours I had already scheduled. The other schools were good, had their strong points, but no other school was great. I undoubtedly chose the best school for my son.
