Recenty Renovated…read more I've stayed at the Holiday Inn in Blythville a few tomes over the years. Downstairs they have two restaurants, one is a Perkins and the other is Bistro Eleven 21. The Bistro serves classic American fare and is known locally for it's collection of Craft Beers. The last time I ate here I the hotel was ungoing renovations and we had to eat in one of the conference rooms. Now that the Bistro and the hotel are renovated, I choodse to eat here again. One of my favourite starters at the Bistro is their Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp which I have had countless times. As always it was cooked just right without overcooking the shrimp. For my Mian course I had a grilled 'Chipotle' PorkChop from the new menu. This 14 oz. bone -in Pork chop Chipotle Pork Chop is served frenched and seasoned with chipotle rub then rubbed with creamy bacon and mango sauce and served with herb rice & vegetable du jour. This is a huge meal but worth every penny and a nice change from having barbecue, fish or steak which are my goto's when I travel. The Chop was cooked medium-well but still tender and a bright pink in the center. The cmbined flavours make this a dish I will try again when I'm in the area next.

Food was expensive but delicious. 3. Bartender spent more time texting or facebooking than she did serving her clients. I was ready to order but I had to sit there and watch her doing something on her phone for several minutes before she finally looked up and realized I was looking at her. There were only two of us in the entire restaurant at that time. She brought me my side salad appetizer and I had to sit there staring at my salad until she figured out I had no fork. She was embarrassed and she finally brought me some silverware and a napkin. I had to get up and go get salt and pepper from halfway down the bar. Does this sound like an 18% gratuity was warranted? I paid the bill, but doubtful I'll ever return.

I quite enjoyed a three enchilada meal of moist shredded chicken. It also included sides of rice and beans. The table service was adequate, with my drink kept regularly filled. There weren't many other customers inside dining at the time of my visit. The exterior of the building had interesting decor features, so I took some pictures. Unfortunately, the front door leading into the vestibule wouldn't completely shut, thereby allowing insects free entry to the interior. When in the area, I might consider eating here again.

Despite the Blytheville mailing address, this business is actually located in the small town of Dell. Parking is on crushed stone /rip rap. The dining area is relatively small, so there are quite a few "to go" orders. The waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. She ended up creating a vegetable plate for me, and I could tell that there were homemade touches added to all of my selections, e.g. pieces of ham in the white beans. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea, and it was served in an enormous plastic cup. This business also sells diesel fuel and gasoline, under the VP Racing brand. I've heard that the breakfasts are really good. When in the area, I plan on returning.

For a while now, I'd been wanting to try this newest addition to Osceola's dining scene. I…read morerecently had an opportunity to try a couple of their offerings during a weekday lunch. I started with an appetizer of the deviled eggs. They were delicious and well prepared. I'd definitely recommend and order these again. For my main entree, based upon my server's recommendation, I had the meatloaf, with sides of greens and cheesy grits. Although flavor of the meatloaf was spot-on, the edges of the meat were over-baked, dry, and crusty. The steak knife was actually needed to cut something that usually only needs a fork to split apart. The chef must surely suffer from "salt blindness", as the greens were so over salted that I only managed to eat about a third of my serving. The grits were okay, but I really yearned for a seasonal vegetable offering other than the carrots that they had that week. The service here was a vast improvement over the past inadequacies of the former restaurant that used to occupy this space. My waitress indicated that she had actually eaten many of the menu items, and her other recommendation of the deviled eggs was welcomed by me and 100% correct. The former flying insect problem was also greatly diminished, probably because the exterior doors to building all appeared to be completely closed, instead of ajar. I would probably eat hear again, but would quiz the server as to the condition of the entrees before ordering.
