Went here this afternoon with a group of 9, and they were able to accommodate us in two lanes with no wait, which was great. The bar had a good selection of cocktails and beers on tap, and the bartender was friendly--again, great. I ordered fries to share and asked for them extra crispy. The woman who helped me seemed a bit frustrated about something, but she was still friendly, and overall the service and atmosphere were positive. Unfortunately, what happened next completely ruined the experience. About half of the lanes were empty, and there was maybe one child in the entire place--it was almost entirely adults. Another person in our group and I are clearly beginners. We noticed several bowling ramps (the kid assist slides) lined up off to the side and not being used at all. Since there were 4-5 of them sitting there unused, we figured it would be okay to borrow one. Before we could even line it up in our lane, an older man yelled from across the room, "NO!" Then he stomped over and yelled again, "Those are for kids," and grabbed the ramp out of our hands to put it back where it was. Sure, maybe we could have asked first. But it was sitting out in the open and not being used. Regardless, yelling across the room and storming over to paying customers is completely inappropriate and a huge overreaction. A calm, polite explanation would have accomplished the same thing. This would have been a place I'd come back to, but that man--whether he was an employee or the owner--completely ruined the experience. read more

Reservations went good. Food was good! We were surprisingly happy with the mozzarella sticks and nachos. The cheese in the mozzarella sticks were creamy and deliciously stretchy, and the nachos were delish. We prefer the cheese that's like out of the jar and that's what it was like, or was?! (; Anywho, things were great until we were checking out. John was great, very helpful. However, the gentlemen with him was super disrespectful. When John asked if we wanted to split the bill or pay altogether we were debating what we wanted to do, it wasn't even a minute and the other person said "do you understand what that means?" In a total condescending way. I wasn't happy and I made that clear. He was young, and I'm not going to say his name because of that, but please teach your employees to be respectful. Went there yesterday to check the place out and bowl. After having made the reservation for a pair of lanes on Friday evening I had a very good experience with the gentleman at the front desk. He pulled up my reservation right away and had me off to my lanes with no issues. From a bowlers perspective the "House" definitely has that old school bowling alley feel which I prefer rather then all the fancy screens and club like atmosphere some bowling centers have gone to. The lanes were well oiled and seem to be in good shape. The approaches could use a little TLC as the are dirty as you approach the foul line. As I was on 17/18, Lane 18 had the sweeper get stuck only once and the ball return was slow at one point. The tech was very responsive to fix the issue and I was off and bowling once again with no other issues. The scoring system is a Brunswick system that works just fine. Just wish I remembered how to access the onscreen menu to pull up my games when I was done. Once all was said and done, the gentleman at the counter was kind enough to print it out for my record. One suggestion that I would make is for the center to consider connecting with the LaneTalk system. This would be a great improvement and would benefit both the center and bowlers as a whole and it is FREE. With everyone having smartphone is would be nice to be able to use LaneTalk to track my scores and view my progress over time. They have a small diner with seating that seemed well occupied on a Sunday morning which is a nice plus. Overall I am happy with my experience and would go back even if to just practice or do monthly 9 tap tournaments and use the pro shop. read more

I'm finding Evergreen Bowling lanes 5 stars. We were pool hopping so we went in just for a little game of pool and it went well than expected. It was just us and we ended up playing 5 min for $.66 cents. The cheapest pool we've ever came across. The workers were very honest and blunt about it they let us walk out without paying. Had a great time with my kids, we went during cosmic hours. It was a little pricey but then again, I do have 4 kids and they're just expensive from start to finish haha. Food was pretty good, I mean for bowling food it was! Portions are large so try not to order too much because even my 3 boys could not finish what they ordered. My boys had fun and that's all that matters, I was born and raised in Everett so its nice to still see it there, I now live in Lake Stevens so its worth the drive considering we dont have much family friendly activities in Lake Stevens. We came for a tournament today that my husband was playing and the experience was great! The tournament ran smoothly and it was very organized. There was only one issue with one of the lanes, but it was resolved very quickly. The approaches were a little bit slicker than he is accustomed, but this could be because of the fact of the lanes being wooden rather than synthetic. - He adjusted easily. Food wise it was good as well. Everything came out hot and quick. My husband ordered the Club Sandwich with GF bread and no mayonnaise, and he enjoyed it (I mean it is pretty hard to mess up this order lol) - side of fries. Would've prefer a bit more of deli meats, aside of that, it was good and the bread was toasted & crunchy bacon I ordered the Mushroom Burger with GF bread and no cheeses, and the sauce on the side. The bun was toasted and warm, the bun was not burn (so it was perfect), great amount of mushroom & caramelized onions! Fries were not to salty and not too bland- great balance! *Restaurant only review* It's upsetting for me to write this but we will not be returning. I've been coming here for breakfast since I was a kid. Today was the last time. We ordered breakfast online (which goes through ChowNow). My husband ordered an omelette and I ordered the Oakie. When we got home, the first thing I noticed was that my eggs were way overcooked. Previously, we'd get our eggs and toast in a separate box but today everything was thrown in together. I don't know if it was the heat from the other food but my over easy eggs were over hard. However that wasn't the main issue. The biggest problem was the biscuits that sit at the bottom of the Oakie were rock hard, as in I couldn't even stick a fork into them. We called and asked for a refund because it was inedible but we were told we had to go through ChowNow. ChowNow had to contact the restaurant and couldn't originally get through to anyone. I had to wait for them to email me after they got through and eventually got a response that they were able to refund my order. Besides all of that, the hashbrowns were plentiful but only barely cooked and mushy. The gravy wasn't anything like it used to be and just tasted like peppery flour. Even the toast changed. We noticed a change when we ordered food back in August and assumed it was a one time thing but apparently not. I don't know if this is due to new ownership or a new cook but unfortunately we won't be back. read more

A hidden gem I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was . I love the fish and chips.

Let me talk about their food for just one moment...wow! This place is a MUST try for some good ole comfort and home style type food. Their meatloaf is amazing, their crinkle fries are the best I have ever had, the fish and chips absolutely yummy! This place also gives huge portions. If you eat light, I suggest sharing cause it's a lot of food! Their drinks are also very good. I can't really speak about the bowling because I don't bowl but if you do, it's always packed and people look like they are having fun. It's a new favorite spot of mine. read more

If I can give a negative star I would. The lack of customer service and empathy towards us was well lacking. We had gone during a promotional/themed night for my brothers birthday. We had made a reservation over the phone and we were told they had three lanes open. When we made the reservation they did not tell us the lanes would be shut down at a certain time and that they had a bowling league coming in. We had approached the front desk frustrated because we had paid a hefty amount and wasn't able to finish a game. When trying to express our frustration we were told they had spoke to someone in our party regarding the time, yet they couldn't recall who they spoke too. When we expressed our frustration we were looked at as if we should've know and it's our fault. Not a simple sorry or anything. We were told we were being rude when we asked a direct answer non of the run around bullshit. They weren't doing the best they can to accommodate a full party that had spent tons of money at their establishment. They offered us 26 dollars and a couple bowling cards trying to explain how they are much more value than the money we spent to not even be able to finish one game, our beer or eat our food. A staff that can't own up to their mistakes is not a staff worth keeping. We had paid for three lanes and as the rest of our party trickled in. My brother and his wife and 4 kids had come in and started a game and was not informed that the lanes will be shutting down at 4pm. They have been playing consecutively and had stopped when our food came. As we were eating an announcement came out saying that the lanes were going to shut off. NO WARNING AT ALL JUST AN AUTOMATIC STOP. It wasn't just our party that was very confused. Multiple parties had stayed backed and were upset that they weren't able to finish their games. In this day and age I am all about getting my moneys worth especially because of how expensive things are these days. If you want a great bowling experience do not come here. Unless you want to be served by run down people who don't have a sense of compassion/basic customer service skills/or respect to the customers who help keep the place open. There is no standard held here...well I guess should be expected from a bowling alley in Everett. read more

TIM embarrassed my young brother. My brother never went bowling before. He didnt know he has to wait. So when he made a play, the ball came back. TIM here grabbed the ball. And I said "sorry, it's his first time bowling" And here are the things he said out loud: "No it's not" "He's been here before" "He's played it before" ..and everyone was staring at us. My brother was so embarrassed, he never wanted to play anymore. He's traumatized. I spoke to TIM and said I didn't appreciate what he did. And he still didn't apologize, in fact he defended himself and stated that he has seen my brother play before. That's a big accusation. Again, this place is a mess. Our lane broke 3 times too, and we had to transfer multiple times . A big thumbs down. read more

Came here with the kids for the lunch special. Buy a lunch, and you get to bowl 3 games. Shoe rental not included. Lunch options were a cheeseburger, fish/chips, chickentenders/fries, or salad. I didn't bowl and had the potato skins. Kids liked their food, but those potato skins...has chili on them. I would try again without the chili. I wasn't expecting that. Everyone we met here was super friendly. We were asked to wait for the league bowlers even though we were 2 lanes away. We had one league gal speak to us afterward about how polite our kids were. Carpeted in glow in the black light carpet, this place is older. Bathroom was dirty. They have a lot of leagues going on and I'm glad we were able to get a lane. We had fun. Diner food was decent. Guy was always available to get balls stuck and such. Our group enjoyed the experience and plan to come back next month. Hope it will be just as much fun! read more

First time here in over a decade or so! Decided to give it a go here as we live just down the road and didn't want to travel to Lynnwood or marysville. We were able to reserve a lane here the day of for their cosmic bowling for my family of 6. I thought it was only midnight bowling that did the neon lights etc. but it was awesome to find out they have cosmic bowling 2-4 on a Sunday. Good for kids and if u need to step away, there's an arcade or bar/food area. We played 2 rounds of bowling during the 2 hours. We didn't get to try the arcade or food. We just stuck to the bowling part because we wanted our money's worth ($79) I believe it was 13.99 per person for there cosmic bowling as it's considered a special event than their regular sessions. You get to bowl as many games during the 2 hrs. Another thing I wanted to mention was a birthday party that was happening around us. The family had offered my kid's pizza and juice and it was just super generous of them. The staff was nice and played good, kid-friendly music. We would definitely go again! read more

Took my kiddos here for their first bowling experience (Cosmic bowling) and had a great time! The place was clean and had a lot of amenities (e.g. video games, bar, cafe, etc.). Music selection during Cosmic bowling was a little bit of something for everyone. The staff were SUPER gracious because my two little boys made quite a few mistakes (e.g. like bowling down a lane while the gate was down and getting the ball stuck in between lanes - bumpers were up). The prices were reasonable and the food was what one would expect at a bowling alley (fries, nachos, etc.). As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised to see Mac & Jack's on tap. Overall, great place to spend an afternoon or evening with the family! read more

Long post warning- MUST READ IF YOUR AFRICAN AMERICAN I chose this place over Bowelero, for a birthday night out, because my last experience was great, and I had no complaints, but last night was a whole different story. Check-in was great, we got our lanes, our shoes and started playing. After my first bowel, I realized my shoes were way too waxed or slippery then usual, I almost fell back and busted my butt. When, I go to try and exchange my shoes, the lady or guy at the counter told me all the shoes are the same and wouldn't make a difference if I exchanged them out, mind you she's looking at me irritated as she saying that. Where I'm confused, is online it states that safety is there priority when your bowling, from the floor to the shoes, if there was any concern, tell the staff, and I did just that, and look at how they handled the situation. I left with the same pair of shoes I had on feeling dumb for even saying anything. Now, FOOD SERVICE. I'm use to waitresses coming to your lanes and taking your order, but for some reason our lane was not being helped on, while every other lane was, mind you, we are the only black people in the bowling alley. I decided to go to the restaurant, as I go to the counter, I notice this girl texting on her phone and eating behind the counter next to where the food comes out. Even after seeing this, I still decided to ask her where can I place an order. She looks at me bothered, and irritated, that I interrupted her time, and directed me to another area where she eventually takes my order. As, she takes my order my total came up to $63 dollars. I questioned the total in my head, but I assumed she took my order correctly, so I didn't question her. The food did come out fast and everything was correct except what I had ordered for my children. Instead of getting chicken strips, she brought fish and chips. When I told her about this, she immediately coped and attitude and told me, that is not what I had ordered. Mind you, my son is allergic to seafood. So she took the food back, and stood behind the counter bickering about the situation with an older lady and the waitress. At this point, I also realized that my total for the food was wrong and I approached her about it. When I went to the counter. There was an older lady standing there, and she immediately walked away, as I said excuse me, she continued to ignore me and the same girl who took my order came back. I explained to her that I wouldn't have ordered fish and chips with my kids having allergies to seafood, and that she had originally over charged me, she rolled her eyes at me and asked me what she wants me to do. I said well it seems that you have an attitude so I'm not sure if I want you to help me, and she then states "that your the one black and mad". At this point, I was fed up and I walked away. My son over heard her and asked me what is wrong with her and rhe people that work here, they all seem mad. I did notice that my family was treated different and that is with an unbiased mentality. I come from a mixed family, but last night I observed and felt a difference in how white people were treated and greeted with smiles and how my family was treated and greeted. It's very unfortunate that my children had to experience this non sense. So $300 dollars later, no refund or apologies. We will never go here again. Also word of advice to this place, update your receipt machine showing orders on the receipt. read more

I have been to many events and personally hosted 2 events at Evergreen lanes. My sins 5th birthday for 10 bowlers and for a team party for about 75 bowlers and additional guests. I have to say I am very impressed with the communication of staff and management, fluidity of the event, their accommodation to our needs and the decent pricing. Thank you all. A nice little bowling alley in Everett. Prices in the evening during specials are reasonable, shoes appear to be kept clean. Staff is friendly. This location does not have all the cool high tech monitors and stations that newer alleys have, but for the price it is a nice little alley. If they were to upgrade to LCD/ Flat Pannel screens and update there stations (where you sit and enter your names,ect) this would be a five star place, until then its not. read more

Cute little bowling alley tucked behind Evergreen Way next to Harbor Freight. We got the 2+2+2 special which is 2 bacon, 2 sausages, two eggs and choice of pancakes or French toast for $7.99 and includes three bowling games! What a deal! Everyone from the waitress to the bowling attendant were extremely nice and inviting. We met a very nice regular named Gary who gave us bowling tips. We came here while waiting for an oil change from Conway Motors down the street and had a great time. Highly recommend for the great atmosphere and nice folks while supporting a local small business. read more

This is our family's favorite place to bowl. My girls love it (11yo and 6yo) and have begged to start league bowling in the fall. We are going to join adult league as well. Always clean and except for black light bowling for parties, the lanes are bright and easy to see. You have to check out their Pro Shop! We love Mike & Scherry. What's really sad is that this used to be a great place. Recently, the staff has been incredibly rude and unprofessional. Prices are continuously going up. I went bowling here a couple of weeks ago and they turned off my lane by accident because they weren't paying attention to which lane they were turning off. They decided to oil in the middle of the day (at noon) so I had to stop my bowling to let them oil (they used to oil at 8am). I was virtually ignored in the restaurant. I also made a reservation for their banquet room 4 months ago and was told 3 weeks ago that they had to cancel it because someone else booked the banquet room AFTER me! Then, I just went here last night for Moonlight bowling and was asked if I would need all of my lanes (I reserved 6). I said I thought so, but if I didn't need all of them, I would let the front desk know. Once I realized I did in fact have 30 people in my group, I let the front desk know and Fred (at the front desk) very rudely told me that I had better have 5 people on each lane because he had people waiting for lanes. 30 people, divided by 6 lanes... 5 people on each lane. There was no reason for his rudeness. Then once we got started, he had 6 lanes open anyway, so I don't know why he was so concerned with the lanes I had reserved.
