I loved the 4-H animals, although I did see a lot of children holding their animals and whispering to them. I get easily attached, so I can't imagine how the kids feel when the animals are auctioned off. My favorite part was the display hall of all the plants, quilts, baked goods, etc. There was even a stamp card that encouraged you to visit each section and get a stamp. Once you filled out the entire sheet you could get a little trinket as a reward. In my case I got cute animal sticky notes. I didn't check out the carnival rides (I don't have kids and I don't think adults really ride..) or the lumberjack show (I didn't time my visit correctly but I'm sure it was amazing). There was enough for me to see and do that I spent the better part of my day walking around and taking in all the sights. Great event.

The young…read morepeople hired for parking were rude and the ticket booth I went to at the blue gate had a young man that didn't know how much to charge me. I asked another employee and they knew I was $13. The young man tried to charge me the regular fee of $16! I wasn't able to eat because getting in cost me all my money!!! I walked around and there were a lot of food vendors but there again, I couldn't afford anything so I looked at everything else and a few vendors tried to get me to sign up or buy something but I had to say that I couldn't afford anything because entry was too much. I won't be coming back. As next year is going to be even more expensive! So basically, I wasn't impressed. It's not that great of a fair, especially when you can't afford anything inside.

Everett Theater is a restored moviehouse with beautiful finishes, comfortable seats, great…read moreviewlines, and good acoustics. They also have large screen TVs flanking the stage, so you can still see well even if your seat is less than ideal. We've visited for a few comedy shows and noticed recently that the seating is more filled owing to good acts coming through. The coming attractions include a wide range of artists including pop and jazz artists, tribute bands, actual touring artists, and even the Seahawks Championship Game (last game before Superbowl, with the expectation that they'll do SB as well). I haven't figured a best parking location: we've found free street parking (weekend after-hour) relatively close by, but spots are not widely available. They run a set of snack counters and separate bars: prices a little high consistent with similar venues, with decent local beer can selections and poured mixers, and the popcorn was tasty. (other food selections available). The neighborhood is clean and bright: it looks like they take effort to reduce undesirables in the area. (Yelp has checked 'food' and 'ambience': I cannot uncheck these, although ambiance is fine. Food is Not a strongpoint here) (4 stars is Above Average and 5 stars are reserved for very outstanding reviews, rarely handed out.)

Could be a good deal for someone! Inside the auditorium, there is a balcony level, which is where we sat. The seats are steep so you can still see and they had two large screens on either side of the stage in case you couldn't see the detail from where you were sitting. The acoustics were great and I imagine would be as well for any typeof musical performance. There were lite concessions and a full bar. Can't believe this is my first time here!

We were not disappointed in that area at all. The presentation was beautiful, and both the quality and portion sizes were spot on. We had the wedge salad, corn ribs, and steak bites (made with steak from their own farm), and everything was excellent. The service was also fantastic. The team at TFF is among the best in Snohomish. A couple of things could be improved, which I imagine are growing pains from opening weekend. The biggest challenge was that we had to close out our tab each time we ordered rather than keeping one tab open throughout our visit. It was very inconvenient as a guest experience, so hopefully that's something they're able to streamline as they settle into operations. The other minor issue was that the store area wasn't quite ready yet, so we weren't able to fully experience that part of the visit. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed when we come back. Overall, not much has changed from the Rusty Nail we knew before, but the food is great, the service is wonderful, and we're excited to visit again soon.

Many booths had interactive components - a wheel to spin, gardening in a CD case, print work, music, popcorn, etc.) - which made it more interesting for children. Of course, most kids were at one of three bounce-structures including a house, a slice, and an obstacle course! Music from School of Rock helped keep the energy higher from about 2:00-4:00 or so. Food trucks were also present and available for lunch and other such purchases. Overall, a good way to spend an hour, but hoping for some more excitement next year.

This is a nice, quiet, relaxed festival where you can have a bit of fun. I went to Celebrate North Seattle last week. It was located in the parking lot of the Oak Tree Cinemas. Parking was a little crowded but luckily, there is street parking nearby. I was a little concerned when I got there and saw a long line. The line was to get in, sign up for a raffle, and to grab a swag bag with a few little goodies in it. Hey, we can all use a bottle of water and it's a nice touch to have a reusable shopping bag, since this is Seattle after all. It was a great opportunity to get to know some neighborhood businesses and services for instance, Ginger's Pet Rescue, Game Gurus, Fitness Evolution, and Guitar Store, just to name a few. Admission was free thanks to sponsors like Oak Tree Dental, Key Bank, and Epic Life Church. Live music was playing while people grabbed food at three food trucks - 314 Pie, Street Donuts, and Braizen Sandwich Co. Those who know me are aware that I will do just about anything to get to Street Donuts. Yes, they're that good. There were TONS of kids activities that were....FREE!!! Can you imagine your child jumping in a bouncy house or knocking milk bottles over for as long as they want and for...FREE? Things can get expensive at festivals and I can tell you, this was an amazing gift! Another really nice thing is there were tables and games set up for people to mingle. I got to meet a few new people, hang out with people I already knew and just chill on a Sunday afternoon. The most amazing thing was someone from the planning group came to take a survey while I was there to find out how my experience was and what could add to the experience. That's very cool. The event was a little small but really, it was refreshing and although I can think of some improvements, I'm definitely a fan!

My hubs and I love this movie from 1989 and it was wonderful to see it in a classic, vintage theater (100+ years old!) with a good-sized crowd. So fun to laugh and cry with lots of people at the movies again!! The COVID pandemic took this tradition away and I am really hoping more people start going back to the movies again. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and full of good popcorn smells. We didn't partake though because $9 for a small bag of popcorn is just too expensive. But we appreciated this nice, old theater and we will be back.

The fun, quirky, employees that always seemed to enjoy their work and showed their commitment to our lovely community have been replaced by dour, seemingly VERY unhappy and just CRANKY employees. I worked in Costumer Service for 30 years, and believe me it's HARD, especially during and after COVID. IMHO employees ACT like this under really bad mangers and management. Miserable employees treat customers with no kindness, no joy. My advice to management is FIX yourselves and the employee will follow. 'Nuf said! It was very lacking in color. The storyteller was a-know-it-all and off-putting. We paid 25 dollars for the 10 minutes it took to walk around. I found it frustrating trying to have any conversations with the staff because they couldn't speak past 1376. I realize the point, but it was annoying.
