I overheard the owner, Annette is her name, make a racist comment about a person of color among a small group of what appeared to be customers as well as staff. You can tell by how she speaks to her staff and then how she speaks to customers that she is as fake as a three dollar bill. On one other occasion, I watched as the owner again displayed bigoted behavior towards a transsexual couple looking to decorate their home. She was unkind to them, telling them that her store wouldn't have what they were looking for. At one point she asked one of her staff members to "get them out of the store." I will never step foot in this building as long as Annette is running things. Bad business owner!

I really REALLY REALLY like this store! I'm not too familiar with the Wichita retail scene, but for…read morehome furnishings, I'd definitely think that this should be on people's radar. Open one week a month, this place seems to be a nice mix of new and vintage merchandise, all of it thoughtfully curated. I went here with a group of people who all have quite varying styles, and we all ended up finding stuff we liked. I bought a vintage crate that will fit perfectly on the back of my husband's bike, while he bought some great glass Christmas ornaments. The parents bought some candles and some other decorative bric-a-brac. There's a large upstairs space that you shouldn't miss, as it includes a lot of furniture! The staff is friendly and helpful, and easily accessible. There were a TON of people helping out on the day we were there, which I appreciate. And while they were quite enthusiastic and informative, they certainly weren't pushy, which I appreciate even more. I can't guarantee that I'll be back, as their extremely limited hours just might not jive with my travel plans, but if I find out it's open, I'll be sure to go back.

Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. When my consignment period ended, I arranged to collect my unsold items and collect my check for those pieces sold. Before signing contract and dropping everything off, I carefully counted and documented the total number of pieces I left with the store. When I returned, many items were missing -- they were neither listed as sold nor included with my unsold inventory. Even more concerning, I personally found several of my items still on the sales floor displayed under a completely different consigner account number. I left the store still missing multiple pieces because I simply did not have the time to search through all the racks myself. There appears to be a very unorganized and unreliable system for tracking sellers' inventory. Pricing was also inconsistent and did not seem to reflect brand value appropriately. Additionally, consigners are required to bring items on hangers, which I did -- providing good-quality hangers. However, my clothing was switched onto cheap discount-store hangers, and when I asked if my original hangers would be returned, I was told "no." So essentially, you provide quality hangers and receive inferior ones back. Overall, the store felt disorganized and management seemed completely unbothered by the missing pieces. Due to the lack of accountability, poor tracking practices, and dismissive response to my concerns, I will not be returning -- neither to sell nor to shop.
