No matter what one might think or say about the couple who owned this place in 2012, there is one…read morething for certain. It was clean, well functioning, and the workers were very sweet, friendly, and helpful, even if they didn't particularly like a parent or parents. I was in here and the floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped in months, the walls with the faux chalkboard wallpaper looks tacky as hell, the kids have to wash their hands in the sink in the classroom because for some reason they are not allowed to use the sink and wall hand dryer in the bathroom, the director's office is horrendously cluttered and she can barely move around, and most of the time there is NOBODY up front to let people in so one ends up waiting at least 5 minutes when one arrives to this day care, unless it's one of the many times they leave the door WIDE OPEN for everyone and their dog to enter. The one class I was most impressed with was Pre-K and the little old lady who used to be a kindergarten teacher who is the Pre-K teacher. Don't get me started on the playground and how one dimensional it is, and that goes for all 3. This place could be pretty awesome and has the potential to win all kinds of awards, but not as long as there are teachers yelling and swearing at or around the little kids, and coworkers arguing in front of the kids. As many of you would agree, a day care is no place for all that and grown women should be able to be professional and check all those personal feelings at the door when they walk in in the morning. I give this place 2 stars now, and that's being generous.

Great facility! My daughter is excited everyday coming to…read moredaycare and loves all the teachers. She comes home learning new things everyday. The staff are very attentive to detail and focus on child safety. This location has great line of communication and I have never felt like a nuisance reaching out to them. They are very accommodating when things come up regarding my child's care. They lots of events for the kids and we try to always attend because of the work put in. I love this place!

Sadly we had to pull our son from the pre-k program. We were noticing that the curriculum was not…read morebeing followed for months. They've had a very high turnover for teachers in the 4 and 5 class and felt our son was not being prepared academically for kindergarten. Since Ms. Mandee left last year, there has not been consistency. Teachers leave after a few weeks. Ms. Daisy, Ms. Alana and Ms Sarah are wonderful with the children don't get me wrong and they are the glue that are holding this school together. The teachers were very understaffed as far as ratio to students. There were times I would pick up my son and the students are out of control and the teacher would look stressed out or overhelmed. You have the same disorderly children causing ruckus in the class. The last straw was when my son came home with marker on his face and so did three of his other classmates. Where was the supervision? Again, lack of staff.I do not blame the teachers but management for not hiring the needed staff. My son came home one day with a small puncture wound behind his ear from another chiId throwing a toy at his head and bruises because the kids couldnt keep their hands to themselves.I caught this when I was giving him his bath and the area was swollen with dried blood. No incident report was done on this. I felt it was more of a daycare and not a pre k program. When we did the tour, the owner stated that they will be teaching Spanish and sign language. Not the case. Snacks were generic Walmart brands and not the fresh, in house meals promised. Not to mention the tuition was much more expensive than the other schools in the area at over 285 a week.During rainy days, the children would watch movies on a small fire tablet instead of a regular television or having activities to do. Screen time is limited at home. You have 15 -20 kids trying to watch a 9 by 11 inch screen! I would think the owner would invest in a television instead of having 15+ kids watching a fire tablet.During the assessment at another school, the teacher even asked us what was being taught because our son was very behind as far as being prepared for kindergarten. Not a good sign.We were also still charged the 2 weeks for pulling our son out early. !!!Please be careful with these reviews and do your research. While my son was attending, they would hold raffles for tickets for good reviews and reviews from people that have left 5 star reviews for other KA locations!!! .Thankfully, we were able to get him into a great school and we couldnt be happier Academically, my son is excelling and he is happy with his new teachers. I feel much more confident that he is being prepared for kindergarten. My only regret not pulling him out sooner.

Noticed that all these reviews are at least 2 years old, so wanted to add some new perspective. My…read morechild, who is now 2, has been attending since she was 6 weeks old. The infant room is really consistent about keeping the same 2 teachers, and very low ratios. Ms Sadia is amazing, and helped me, as a first time mom, to know my child was safe and well cared for. All the teachers here really love the kids, and it's obvious. Her teachers from when she was an infant still say hi to her and want to check in and see how she's doing. The toddler rooms are also great. Most of the teachers have been here for several years, so there's a lot of consistency for the kids. I can't speak to the preschool curriculum, since we aren't there yet, but my child was learning even as a toddler about numbers, letters, colors, etc. Music classes are once a week, with more activities available as the kids get older. Right now, in the summer, we have splash pad days twice a week, which my child always looks forward to. The front desk staff -has- had some turnover the last year or so, but seems to have settled back down. Ms Amanda, Ms Kenya and Ms Aisha are all extremely responsive and are great at resolving any issues which come up. The only thing stopping me from a 5 star review is some of the technology, as we did have some trouble with the Tadpoles reports, but they have recently switched to a new vendor, so hopefully this will improve.

At the time I had been a stay at home mother. They made that transition so easy for not only me but for both of my girls. Both of my girls went through the kindergarten program and are now very successful in school. At that time Mrs. Kenya my Director was the kindergarten teacher. She is now an amazing director. She goes above and beyond to ensure all of the staff are all on the same page of communication with each other, and all of our parents. They have been so flexible with me when I have needed off for my own kids. Because of her I have moved up in position. She has made sure not only am I happy as a staff member but as a parent. Because at the end of the day we are mothers first then employees.
