I got to the hot foods counter 5-10 minutes before they put out the rotisserie chickens. I could see one employee pulling the cooked birds from the oven and packaging them for sale. I was struck with how clean and neat everything was and the great care the employee in removing the chickens and preparing to be put in the hot case. As I was waiting I must of had 5 or 6 employees go out of their way to greet me and offer to assist me. I enjoyed looking at the cold case and the offerings. The real egg salad definitely caught my eye. I will definitely get on my next trip to Jimbo's. I also love that they sell cooked and hot breasts, thighs, legs and leg quarter in small quantities. It gives the shopper to just buy one package or multiple packages depending on much you need. The produce and fruit were amazing, well displayed and drew me in as did the bakery department. I was short on time so I didn't get the chance to check out the deli area but what I did see from a distance looked amazing. Sure their prices are slightly higher than some bigger chain grocery retailers but the quality, freshness and ready made products put Jimbo's in a class of their own.
