The farm itself was nestled in a picturesque countryside setting, with rolling green hills and breathtaking views. The facilities were well maintained, you can tell right away how well they care for the llamas. Our adventure started with an informative presentation about their llamas. We all learned interesting facts. Then we got to walk llamas though their obstacle course. And got plenty of pictures and videos. They have a cute gift shop on site and sell delicious Apple cider vinegar slushee. This was an unforgettable adventure filled with joy, laughter and plenty of llama cuddles.

You can pick your own apples or select already-picked apples if you want more varieties to select from. They have some already bagged or you can bag your own. I love that they offer apple slices of all the current varieties so you can figure out your favorites. I was surprised I didn't like the sweetest apples but liked the more tart ones. Besides apples, they have pumpkins. The sunflowers were at the end of their life when I was there, but I was glad I got to see them. The gift shop sells cider and other items, and the bakery has pies, cookies, donuts, slushies, and other goodies. Customer service is friendly, and on the weekends, they have other activities to do. But you can walk to the water and enjoy the views.

My husband and I visited with our two young kids and had so much fun. We got to visit with the animals, learn about the property, and help feed the baby goats! We also got to sample some cheese made from goat milk. This is a working farm so be prepared for normal animal mess and to have to give many many pets to the dogs. Boots are recommended!

We called that morning and were able to visit at 2:00 PM. They welcomed us and gave us a complete and very informative tour of the farm. We got to meet the alpacas by name and visit the 11-month-old and 4-month-old alpacas with their mothers. We even had the chance to feed and walk with one of them. A huge thank you to the wonderful couple who owns this property for your kindness, patience, and understanding, especially with part of my family who did not speak English, allowing us time to translate. While there, we also did flower pounding to make a beautiful card and envelope (see photos). There was a covered area with tables where we were able to sit, eat snacks, and chat. I also noticed a fire-pit and I'd like to bring my grandkids, let them pick flowers, and then spend time relaxing with a picnic lunch or dinner and roast some marshmallows over the fire. The way it works is you scan the QR code, pick up a cup, fill with water, and grab cutters. You can walk up and down the aisles that have various flowers blooming and pick any you like. If you don't have time to pick, there is a grab and go bouquet in the stand. They are open dawn to dusk April - October. I attended a Christmas in July party this past weekend and we were asked to bring a gift from a local vendor. I brought a gift certificate. The person who opened it didn't want to tell anyone what it was for fear it would be stolen! She wanted it for herself. While planning our trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, we came across this opportunity, and I…read morewas adamant that we must do it! :) The location is a bit off the beaten path - approximately a 45 minute drive from Pigeon Forge. Upon arrival, the llamas and two alpacas were ready to socialize. We brought some oatmeal cookies for them to snack on. (See the website for their favorite snacks.) It was so much fun to give them treats, pet them, and start to learn their personalities. When we were ready to hike, we were able to choose which llama to walk with. Oscar was my hiking companion, and my husband took Walker. We had about 8-10 total hiking. Even though it started raining, we still had a great time. The llamas graze along the trail, so this is not a fast-paced hike. Steve, the owner of the farm and our guide, shared stories and information along the trail. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. I haven't stopped talking about it since we did it, and I love going back and looking through my pictures.
