When I busted the warehouse, I was distressed to see it stored on end and there was much damage on that end. The shades were thrown in garment bags and returned wrinkled. My husbands ties were thrown in a box and returned unwearable. They broke two men's valets, the spines of hundreds of books and over 50 picture frames. They tried to leave without properly assembling our bed because they lost some hardware. They paid us nothing because we had a $1500 deductible and the damaged books were irreplaceable. We made no claim for the book bindings because it would destroy any remaining value. Use at your own risk.

Gabriel at first was very professional. And I was extremely transparent in communicating my moving needs. I explained to him up front that I had several large pieces to be moved. Three armoires was the heaviest of pieces in the move. Everything had to be moved from one storage location to another location. All on the ground floor. He sent an employee named Erwin to head the move, an older man a young kid. Erwin moved very little items from the storage unit, he just stayed inside the unit and waited on the other 2 movers. FYI: I hired 3 movers total, not 2. About a hour and half into the move, Erwin got to the armoires that I mentioned to Gabriel about and stop, then I realized why he wasn't helping the other movers. Erwin stated that he couldn't move the armoires because "he had a bad back". So I called Gabriel and ask him "why would you send me a mover with a bad back" and "if Erwin has a bad back, why is he in the moving business?" And the 2 other movers were an older man and a young boy. Gabriel assured me that he would send someone else the next day to finish the move. I explained to him that I was on a time constraint, because I had to move out of the storage by the end of the month. Gabriel promised that he would make things right the next day, because I stressed to him if I hired a new company, I would have to pay another initial fee and truck fee. Gabriel again assured me that he would make things right. But next day he ignored my calls and texts, and I never heard from his company again. I lost over $500 dollars with Houston Supreme Movers because I had to pay another $350 a month in storage rent for not vacating before the first of the month, initial fee and truck fees to hire another moving company. I was unaware of the situation and was completely shocked to discover that rats had destroyed many of my personal belongings. The movers explained that because of the extent of the damage and infestation, they could not safely pack everything. Despite the circumstances, the team showed incredible compassion and understanding. Knowing I was already overwhelmed especially being pregnant and dealing with such a stressful situation they still did everything they could to help salvage and move what was possible. Movers worked hard but they seemed they just wanted to get the job done and get their check. You can find many other better options. They even brought an additional helper. The furniture was carefully wrapped up in plastic and was placed at my brother's new home as instructed by my brother. Allen Beaulieu, the rep who I made the original contract with, sold me on the idea of the "Full Value Protection" which boasted up to $100,000.00 coverage on my home goods. I paid the extra cost for the "full protection" because he assured me that any damaged items would be much better covered with the insurance. This was apparently a lie as it has been 2 months since I filed my claim and the company has repeatedly advised me that the insurance company was still evaluating the claim, and that there was nothing Graceful Moves could do until the insurance company made a decision. There are no rockets are science involved in this transaction. I paid Graceful Moves to move my furniture. I paid for the extra insurance which Graceful Moves recommended. Graceful Moves broke my table and they now refuse to make any payment despite the fact that I had the "Full Protection" insurance. Use Graceful Moves at your own peril.
