I have used the Institute for Athletic Medicine twice in the past three years. Both were for a…read moreseries of physical therapy treatments one for a back problem and the other for a knee injury. Each time I had about six sessions and in both cases the treatments were very successful. The staff careful evaluated my situation and started me on an exercise program which resulted in complete recovery. They were careful to make sure my exercises were gradually increased so as not to re-injure or exacerbate my problems. In the case of my back problem, a previous provider had moved me along with exercises too rapidly and had actually made my problem worse. I still do my exercises more or less daily and have been pretty much pain free. The staff at the Institute for Athletic Medicine are low key and very professional. I highly recommend them.
