    We highly recommend EventZ if you're looking for a wedding coordinator. To put it bluntly, this wedding would not have happened without Zakiya. She was there for us from the ideation stage to the execution stage and everything in between. It was her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment that made our wedding day as perfect as it could be. Zakiya truly went above and beyond her duties as a wedding coordinator. She got us to a point where we had almost every minute of our wedding day accounted for. And it worked because everything ran on time, and we even were running ahead of schedule at some points. How many people could say that about their wedding day? You don't know what you don't know... Neither of us had ever planned a wedding before and we had SO MANY questions. For every question we had, Zakiya either had a clear answer for us or options for us to consider. There were also plenty of things that we hadn't thought about that needed to be planned, and she brought those to our attention and helped us reach decisions. Her expertise was invaluable to us, and her experience in the large event planning space definitely paid off. Thank you so much, EventZ and Zakiya, for being our MVP and turning our dreams to reality.

    Zakiya was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING for our wedding in October! By far one of our best vendors. She was available when we needed her, walked us through everything we needed for our day, and helped us organize the vendors we booked. Everyone could not stop talking about how well Zakiya did on our wedding day and how everything was so organized. She even took over as an MC when our DJ failed to perform and everyone loved her! If you are contemplating hiring her, just do it. She was awesome to work with and really made us feel like we were a team. Thank you for making our day so special.

    My wife and I hired Zakiya for our wedding at Tilden Park in the Berkeley, CA hills in June 2022 and we can't recommend her highly enough! Hiring Zakiya was one of the best decisions that we made in our wedding planning process, as she went above and beyond to make everything go super smoothly! It was a truly magical evening where everything came together perfectly, and that definitely would not have happened without Zakiya on our team. Our wedding day flew by so quickly, and Zakiya always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to lend a helping hand. Communication with Zakiya in the months leading up to the wedding was always prompt and professional, and she helped us consider several important details that we would have otherwise overlooked in our planning process. She brought a terrific attitude, and we particularly appreciated her eagerness to work with us on her first Jewish wedding (which certainly has more moving parts than a typical secular wedding). Thanks so much for everything Zakiya!

    We worked with Zakiya for our recent wedding and she was beyond amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly on our big day, taking time to periodically check in on us during our planning process. She's knowledgeable about a lot of major venues and hotels in her area and if she isn't, she'll take time to visit the venue in advance and familiarize herself with it. Having trouble reaching a vendor via email? Zakiya will contact them herself. In fact, she was so awesome with contacting our vendors that by the time our day rolled around, she had everything set and all I had to do was enjoy my day. I'm more type A and I need everything to be super organized and the fact that I had nothing to worry about with Zakiya says a lot. If you have a wedding or any sort of large event coming up, go with EventZ. You will not be disappointed. And for brides that are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, do it. It'll make your day so much less stressful. And if you hire Zakiya, she'll make sure all you have to do on your wedding day is relax and enjoy.

We spoke to her a few times about her lack of organization, but she didn't seem to correct it. Karolina may need and assistant as she seems too busy. I wrote out all of the details so she wouldn't forget and I also provided the venue with a copy as back up. Karolina did not seem comfortable with conversing via phone so it was difficult to reach her. She sent long emails, ignoring our preference of communicating via phone due to our busy work schedule. Karolina's true lack of organization was obvious during our wedding rehearsal, as she did not know what to do. Everyone was lost because she didn't bring copies of the ceremony schedule. It was very embarrassing for our wedding party and the venue staff to keep telling us how unorganized, overwhelmed, and how much of an amateur she looked, and how rude she was to them when they asked simple questions. I explained to Karolina that she was unorganized and everyone could see it. She stormed off screaming "I am organized. I am organized", which was one of the most unprofessional and bizarre moments I have ever experienced. Karolina disappeared many times during our almost THREE hour rehearsal, leaving us to figure things out. She left without apologizing or even saying bye to me. The rehearsal put us behind 2 hours, which forced us to cancel our welcome reception for out of town guests. We had to be the mediator for some issues Karolina and our vendors had. Our makeup schedule was thrown off because Karolina lied about sending the wedding day timeline to our makeup artist. BUYER BEWARE: She will make up lies about us firing "many wedding coordinators and florist" , which is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Not apologizing for how much stress she gave us, as SPECIFICALLY cited above, not addressing her performance, and completely making up lies, truly shows her true colors.

She narrowed down the vendor search to 2-3 recommendations for everything, which was a HUGE time-saver. The vendors she recommended were so unbelievably talented and professional. I was happy with every recommendation I received. She assisted in setting up meetings and jumped to my rescue when problems occurred. (For example--I had a bad first hair trial, and I couldn't get a response from the vendor to set up another trial. Karolina contacted the vendor immediately, and I got a response an hour later.) She checked in with me every month and responded to emails and texts within hours. I didn't even need my own timeline--she kept my wedding planning on track with every step. You can tell she is very experienced, and she thinks of all the details that a bride might forget. My reception was at the Adler Planetarium. I believe Karolina had never coordinated a wedding there, but she is so competent that she made me feel like I floated through the day--I had no stress, and I didn't have to think, coordinate, or plan anything the whole time. She is tasteful and made the venue look glamorous. She kept the timeline for the night on track. She only contacted me once or twice the whole night about easy things--the rest of the time she worked in the background to make the night flawless. She even thought to save snippets of my decorations and the photobooth album for me (I definitely would not have thought of that by the end of the night!) The other great thing about Karolina is that her personality is perfect for this job. During meetings she is sweet and easygoing, but she has an air of competency that lets you know she has everything in control. I was so happy to have worked with her--my wedding was perfect, and I owe so much of that to Karolina!

George is beyond warm, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, charming, gracious, efficient, and oh so very skilled at listening to what you would like to accomplish for the event, that you have been hired to do. We hit it off with George IMMEDIATELY upon meeting him. He took us on a guided tour of The Cotillion Banquets, explaining to us in measured detail, what was at our disposal, to ensure that we would be able to do everything that we had planned, and be able to provide our clients - the wedding of their dreams, with regards to their décor and wedding theme. The staff at The Cotillion, under George's dedicated, experienced and genuine love and pride for what he has been doing for so many, many years - also reflects the outstanding service provided by everyone at The Cotillion Banquets. The kitchen staff, is beyond kind, truly professional and obviously loves what they do. The table settings were impeccable. The food - all freshly prepared by The Cotillion staff - is simply AMAZING !!! The only time the dance floor was ever empty was when people had to take a break to catch their breath. My husband and I really wanted to focus on finding the perfect DJ company because we really wanted a night where everyone was enjoying themselves and dancing. We were nervous we wouldn't find a DJ that could incorporate both Persian music (I come from a Persian family) and keep the party going with a mix of old-school boogie and today's hits. We were happy to hear that An Enchanted Evening had a wide array of different DJs that specialized to the couple's music taste based on the online profile they created with their must-play and do not play songs. Adrian really listened to what we wanted and we gave him the freedom to pick and choose which songs worked based on how our guests were reacting to the music he played. We were happily surprised that he played more Persian music than we were expecting which was a definite result of how well he mixed the music together to keep the night full of energy and fun. He also did a great job of not playing overplayed songs that my husband and I were tired of hearing at every wedding we go to. We are so grateful for An Enchanted Evening and Adrian for creating a night that we'll never forget!

I will never forget, after sending her the email explaining my mom's situation, Jenny calling me almost immediately - literally just offering her ear. After letting me express all my fears, tears, and anxieties - she got to work. She encouraged me to take a beat to feel all the feelings, and then insisted we have another call a day or two later so I could "brain dump" everything wedding on her. Jenny was able to take that unorganized, jumbled mess of a phone call and spit out a highly detailed, actionable, and prioritised to-do list that broke down not only what I had to do, my husband had to do, but she took on things that MY MOM was supposed to do. I cannot tell you how much this was appreciated - it makes me teary eyed just thinking about her kindness and how she went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was a spot of brightness and hope amongst the dark weeks leading up to it. Sure enough, my mom recovered beautifully - was not only AT the wedding, but dancing a speech-giving with the best of them. Her regular check-ins kept us on track, she helped us stay organized, and she personally recommended nearly all of our amazing vendors. She also constantly made sure we were doing okay and offered help wherever she could. She truly went above and beyond. When the wedding day arrived, Jenny and her husband Jeff took over and everything went off without a hitch. We didn't have to stress about a single thing, which meant the world to my wife and me. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment thanks to them. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. She is a total pro and an absolute joy to work with. 1000% worth it
