This may be off putting to some however the food has been pretty good on the times I have been here. The area is spacious and the bar area is very nice as well. We were here most recently for a club Christmas party. The food was good, the beer was cold and the place was looking festive. Parking is ample as well. Consider this venue when looking for a place for your next party, you'll be more than satisfied. The offering was pasta with red sauce, Chicken Parmesan, garlic green beans, salad and cake for dessert. The chicken was perfectly breaded/seasoned of which was complimented by the excellent red sauce. Every bite was delicious. This place is becoming well known in our area and am told they are just about booked every weekend leading into 2024. This should also tell ya that it's a good spot to consider for your banquet/wedding/grad party needs. Im going to tell you about all the cool things but first I have to tell you about the family who runs it, they are the kindest most helpful easiest people to work with. They really put the cherry on top, great people. Besides the beauty of this place which speaks for itself it also has 2 rooms to get ready in. One is a bridal suite that has mirrors/lights/chairs for getting ready. My bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done in this room and it was so great. There is another seperate room for the guys to get ready in that is also very nice. The bar is a tiki bar! Who doesn't like tiki bars, who has a bad time at a tiki bar...no one. There is a lake which adds to the whole vibe and captain rod will give people boar rides. My guests loved loved loved that. The tent is huge and the sides open and let a great breeze in from the water. There are 2 different options of where you can married on the property. We choose the island wedding where it is surrounded by water and your guests have to walk over a beautiful bridge. Also super cool bc when the bride walks over it adds drama. There is also a arch on the property that you can decorate and use.. Not to mention the beautiful landscaping of this place! The bridal suites (separate for both the groom and the bride) are newly renovated and top of the line. So cozy and so comfortable which makes getting ready a breeze. The outdoor location is GORGEOUS! Right on the water, it offers a great location for guests to enjoy and for beautiful pictures. The whole area is concrete so you do not have to worry about dirt or rocks ruining shoes or dresses. There is a tiki bar, a full kitchen, and a covered area that can also have the walls open to get a great breeze off the lake. One thing to note is you do bring everything yourself. You have to provide the alcohol and the food, etc, but it allows you to be creative and be in charge of every detail. With all that being said, the staff hands down is the best. The tattooed young lady sitting at the bar had an office going with laptop, phone, etc. She was pounding down the martinis and speaking to someone on the phone about a business license. The menu was front and back on a sheet of paper and I picked the chicken salad. After a few sips of water I noticed a moldy taste as though the lines hadn't been cleaned. The plate arrived and had small chicken cubes and about four French fries. (Typically in any place near Pittsburgh the salad comes with FF.) The office was humming along with an "f bomb" thrown in for good measure. I paid and left. Not again...
