I almost had a 4-star experience today... almost…read more Once again, I was in search of specific themed party props, etc. I knew no one else would have what I was looking for, but Party City always seems to pull through in those dire situations. I will say that I found almost everything I was looking for! I asked the help of a kind employee who just so happened to walk me over and point out the last of something I needed. Hells yes. Unfortunately the first employee I asked for help was an uninterested teenager too bothered to leave her "post"... womp, womp. After my great experience finding all sorts of great stuff (for cheap), I descended on the check-out. There was one, inefficient teenager (again) ringing out an older lady and was arguing with her over the price of gift bags. Then, that lead to someone cutting in front of me and then continued on with everything imaginable going wrong with the order. Oh yes, price tag arguments, register out of tape, girl waiting for new tape, girl trying to figure out how to insert tape, tape inserted wrong--you get the drift. 10 minutes later, the nice gentlemen who helped me in the first place took me over to a new register to ring out my cart (thank GOD.) I ended up leaving well before the old lady did. So, Party City still sits at 3 stars. They need to make sure all their employees are on their customer service game and not just one of them.

Costumes were pretty cool, seems like they were a lot more. Creative with costumes when I was a kid, it could be the fact that im now a 30 yr old man shioping for a costume. Hmm? That cant be, I still feel like a kid, may even act like one time to time. This olace was a good one to be at, had me feeling very feative to say the least. Other than the onky costume that caught my eye being sold out and bas custimer service. I walked out feeling quite pimpish. We came here to get some fake blood to make Bonnie and Clyde costumes, and were surprised by the selection of many sizes. We ended up going with the pint size and also a shark costume for our pittie. I recommend going here if you need a Halloween costume or if you are trying to find some last-minute decorations for a get-together, a bachelorette party, a wedding, a birthday party, or a banquet. The only thing I wish this Party City would consider is being closed earlier-midnight seems excessive and hard on the workers (especially during covid) and it made me feel bad for them.

A friend ordered food for 30 ppl, I picked it up and I asked the lady twice if this was all the food. She insisted and double checked the tins. 15 mins later I get a call saying I forgot a container of food. So I had to turn around adding 30 mins to the pick up trip. That's 30 mins extra the food got to cool down before it hit the sternos! The chicken & mushrooms was pretty good. Just wish it was warmer. Chicken was thick and surprisingly not dry. Potato pancakes were okay, the crispier ones were better. The roasted veggies were in need of seasoning and more of a roasting. There was no effort to make up for their mishap so that was enough to not use them again.

I have so much more room than anticipated and don't even have enough furniture to fill the space on my own. For the convenience to Coventry, Cedar-Faimount, UH, and CWRU, I can't complain too much about the cost, especially because it's really no different than any other single bedroom in the area. Only thing I wish it had was garbage disposal and dishwasher, though dishwasher is less of a priority for me. The property manager, Barbara, is a wonderful women! She's always available or returns calls promptly and is one of the sweetest older ladies. I've also been incredibly impressed with maintenance and how quickly they make sure to complete work orders.
