I don't think 5 stars and a single review could begin to capture how INCREDIBLE the Michelle Leo…read moreteam is. They are truly angels -- with overwhelming talent and organizational skills. My husband teases me because my eyes lit up on our first call with Michelle the second she whipped out her color coded spreadsheet and started to explain her process. Boy did they not disappoint. I told so many people that I wished that Heather, our Executive Planner, planned more things in my life. Monthly calls with her for the two years leading up to the wedding were the highlight of the month. She could not have been more responsive or done a better job of keeping us on track. It was particularly reassuring to know that we were in good hands given that we were planning this wedding from afar. It was so helpful to have her team recommend pre-vetted vendors so all we needed to do was review their websites and have a quick chat (and of course we loved all their recommendations). Michelle was the one with the artistic vision who did all the gorgeous design work. Let me tell you, this wasn't just a few "vision board" photos. This was a 60+ page design document complete with suggestions for invitations to floral to drinks that matched! Then she and the team brought it to life. The wedding itself was an absolutely dream, above and beyond what we'd hoped, but that also wasn't a surprise because we'd known all along that we were in the best hands. Everyone commented on how relaxed I was on the day of the wedding, but that was because I trusted Heather and the team with 100% confidence and they did not disappoint. My mother-in-law now wants to be Heather's assistant! Boy are we going to miss working with this team.

I don't usually review but since the folks you have running your facebook page are blocking attendees from commenting and deleting the copious amount of negative feedback you are rightfully getting, I've been left no choice. Ticket holders for future events are expressing their concern for their upcoming event due to the reviews. You all are responding with "We had a GREAT event last night!" and then rushing to delete and block those who are telling the accurate portrayal of what went down. Positive reviews are coming from those who got there are at 5:00. The movie started at 7:30. You shouldn't have to arrive 2 1/2 hours early to not regret your purchase. You can't just make it like it didn't happen. Not when it was this bad. Let's start the list: You oversold tickets by what seemed like double. Even if attendees arrived an hour early, the car line to enter the event took an hour and a half. There were 3 food trucks, one of which, was out of food before the movie even started. The trucks with food, had an hour wait time for a corn dog. 5 fire pits for a massive field filled with people. What fun kids games and activities were you speaking of? You turned away paying customers who were still in line. You lied and told people commenting on facebook about the delay and asking if you'd hold the movie. You played it anyway. I've seen Hocus Pocus, it wasn't about the movie but the experience you promised. I understand issues but the responses from whomever is managing your facebook page are snide and unacceptable. Blocking disgruntled customers and deleting their comments to save yourself is truly sad. I hope you learn from this event and whoever is responding on facebook is condescending and not at all apologetic. I will be sure to avoid any event you are affiliated with in the future.

They blasted their facebook page that you could email them for a refund if you were unable to get parking. It looks like it was all for show to placate the angry facebookers for throwing an ill planned event because they are asking for names of attendants and a password to get out of issuing refunds. I also know they are doing this selectively. I have unused tickets that were never scanned. You should be able to tell that and issue a refund. Bad business and amounts to nothing more than theft. Would NOT even recommend this business for planning a tea party for stuffed animals.

They had a full catered meal with desserts and drinks, since the company is also a catering company. The food overall was good, and it was nice to be able to take a snack break if you needed. Expect to spend at least $50 on your terrarium. I knew I would spend money there but I wish there was a little more info about this ahead of time. The plant and decor options were good, I do with I had another smaller terrarium option. There were **70** people in our class. Far too many in my opinion. It was hard to walk around sometimes and we ended up in a smaller back room (which actually we were fine with due to sound levels). So go early if you want a table in the main room. They have a lot of people to help out. Everyone was super nice and helpful but we especially loved working with Susan! She was really informative, we appreciated her experience.

They proposed a spot-on menu that fit our theme and made sure to accompany it with matching table settings and branded accessories-absolutely knocking it out of the park. Not only was the end product great, but they were excellent to work with, despite our ever-changing headcount, menu adjustments and last minute adjustments to the venue setup. I appreciated their flexibility and "roll with it" attitude. We ended up with more food than we needed, and they were wonderful to package it all up and provide it to us. My favorite part of it all was that they took care of everything from setup to serving and cleanup. There was enough on my plate-literally-that I was so grateful not to have to worry about the food. I'll be sure to reach out to them again when planning future events.

Where to start, my wedding planner that I worked with for 14 months did not show up for my wedding day. Instead, I had to sit down for about an hour the night before my wedding to go over what I planned in 14 months because the assigned wedding planner had no idea. It also came to light that those changes that were made throughout the wedding planning sessions did not get updated. The tables were set incorrectly and the attitude and slamming of tables from the staff was truly so unprofessional because they had to set up the tables the way it was discussed. The food was awful. Do not put prime rib on your menu, it is not worth it. Food was cold, some frozen including the food I received. Hair was discovered in my bridesmaids food, disgusting. As people were getting served dinner, others received nothing for about 45 minutes. There was no flow to the passing out of meals. There were a max of 130 people there, so it was not because of the amount of guests attending. It is upsetting because I truly enjoyed the planning process but it resulted in a waste of time. All set up from other vendors (DJ, florist) was perfect so fortunately the reception was a great time.

They anticipated everything we needed before we even knew we needed it. We had a flowing reception with close to 600 people. The space is beautiful, and it accommodated us well. Phegda and Ana helped put together the design and it was relieving to just walk in and not worry about setup or take down. There is a big storage room in the basement filled with decorations and it saved us time, money and effort to not rent, buy, or bring in our own decorations or linens. We were even able to use their frames (I brought in tons of pictures and they inserted them the day before and took them out at the end of the night). We had games in the courtyard and used both big rooms. I was surprised that when there was a big/loud dance party in the main room, you could hardly hear it in the adjacent room with the food. They recommended Dionne for food and she was great (we also had Blacksmith cater ice cream). The groom and especially the bride loved having their individual spaces- the bride and groom rooms are pretty awesome and functional. We liked having slideshows in the dining room and it was easy to use their system. For the send off they set up bubble machines I had brought in and hadn't figured out how to operate. I thought I would have to do that since I brought them in so it was a relief to have Phegda just take care of it. They also provided sparklers and were efficient in getting them lit. I recommend using them 10/10!

We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! That's exactly the kind of detail only a person genuinely committed to delivering an above and beyond experience would even think to do. My husband (!) and I are blown away by the HOOPES team.
