They have everything from fresh seafood, delicious burgers, and crisp fried side options like tater tots, onion rings, and of course French fries. We ordered their Mushroom, Onion and Swiss Cheeseburger and the Smokin' Jalapeno Burger! Both were solid burgers with 1/2 lb angus beef thick patty and great flavor combinations. It's not a complicated concept here as everything dive bar is not only embraced, it is celebrated. The one rule they enforce (oddly) is no wearing of hats within the establishment. On my first night here, and first drink order, the bartender said I had to remove my hat. This big guy with a giant ZZ Top type beard is otherwise a very friendly and cordial guy who keeps the drinks flowing. There were a couple of pool tables and a jukebox, so I fired that up with some dollar bills to keep the soundtrack rocking. If I was a marketing wizard The Crown's slogan would be "Walk in, stagger out!" The only negative is the second hand smoke, but once you get your drink on it's barely noticeable.

Upon entering we realized one of our favorite bands was playing here tonight, Monticelli, sweet!! These brothers are the best, what a serendipity:) It's a bummer we got here so late but we were able to catch the end of their second set and most of their third set. They even played Megadeth for me, sweet! It wasn't too busy at the bar, mostly locals but it took forever to get a drink. I don't know if the bartender was new but she couldn't tell me the price for a bottled yuengling. She said she needed my name for a tab and I told here I'm paying cash, so how much? She said it depends on which band is playing, what???? Anyway I ended up just taking the beer and went to watch the band because she never returned to take my money. When I went to cash out before leaving it still took her 5 min to figure out what I owed for one beer really??? It ended up costing $5, great. Wish I knew that from the get go. The bar is a decent size and they have a large open area where they can set up more tables if needed. There is also a decent sized dance floor and stage for local bands. The sound was decent and lighting was passable for a dive bar. The men's restroom only has one toilet and urinal in a shared stall, a bit weird but it will due. They have a large parking lot with plenty of parking, which is great for crowds or food truck parties. All-n-all, a great place to hang with friends, have a cold beer, and listen to live music.

This place is the mother of all dive bars! i've been to a lot of bars in my time and this one takes…read moreit all hands down! I know this place is in the middle of nowhere. I mean NO WHERE! Alligator country! So im here visiting with friends who live near this place. We walk in and literally the record player scratches to a halt and everyone in the bar (all of 4 of them) stop, turn and stare at us. This is where it gets fun! People obviously know we're not from around these parts and quickly walk up to us and start introducing themselves. And here are the names they used... Giggalo Jim, Gator Mike and a few more i cant remember. Im not making this up. It was hard to keep a straight face. So we have some cocktails and play some pool and eat some of the best boiled peanuts that i've ever eaten. A bit later Gator Mike walks up to us and says "Ever been on an air boat?" We all reply "no" and he proceed to say, i know a guy who has one down the road who would love to take you guys out on it. Now i know I've been told not to go with strangers ever since i was a kid, but dammit if i didn't want to go on an air boat! I'm 6'6" and about 260lbs, so if they can lift me and kidnap me, they can have me! I just hope they have a strong back! So we all look at each other and tell Gator Mike that we're game to go do this air boat ride in the middle of a swamp, infested with alligators and with a guy we've never met. Here we go.... Gator Mike drives in a car ahead of us and we follow him to the edge of a swamp where we see his friend. We get out, get introduced and off goes Mike. The air boat "captain" tells us to get on and buckle up, we do. he goes to the front of the air boat, open a compartment, pulls out a red cup, a bottle of Kessler Wiskey, some ice, fills the cup, fired up the boat and off we go. Im thinking to myself at this point that we're all dead and about about to be fed to the gators. The woman asked why I wouldn't let the lady sit with us and asked me to go outside so she could beat my a$$. We explained the situation and the lady apologized and said the woman is a regular there and a drunk so she's not surprised she lied. This lady continued to tell people in the bar the lie to the point where we feared for our safety. They promote karaoke every night, but the DJ will not play your song unless you tip him $20. Those were his exact words to me. For safety purposes, I don't recommend going here.
