The boss lady guided me into a small room and charged me $45 euro when their sign read $40 euro for an hour. I confronted her and she said that's for the boss. She told me to remove my clothing. I didn't because it was freezing cold in the middle of December. The table was only lined with one thin towel, no heat lamp nor bed warmer, not even a towel to cover me with. The biggest lady of the 3 came in and showed annoyance when I requested more pressure, she told me "that's going to cost more". She left the room and told another thinner lady in mini skirt to work on me. Quality was poor. I just sucked it up since I was tight from all the walking from my travels. This second lady left the room and checked what time my massage was over. Super unprofessional. She returned and said 20 more minutes. She stopped when my one hour wasn't up. Take your chance with this lousy establishment. I should have just walked out because of all these red flags.

The locker rooms were clean and you are able to lock up all your stuff in your own locker. Once you are ready, they'll bring you down to the bath area, which has a variety of different pools, some hot, a salt pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam room. I'm not a huge fan of hot tubs, so honestly I spent probably the most time in the cold plunge, which honestly felt the best. While we were down there, they provided tea and orange juice, the tea was probably some of the best I've had, so tasty. And the orange juice was just as good. When it's your turn for your massage, they'll escort you to the top floor where we got our couples massage. The massage itself was good, but I didn't like how i could see into the walkway where everyone was walking by. I didn't feel that sense of privacy. Not a huge deal, and not a deal breaker though. (Hint-do not google just massage places in Barcelona-you will get places that are not the reputable type places, ew. Make sure you put Spa!). We thought about going to the Hotel W but they were across town and really pricy. We asked our concierge at our hotel (Royal Ramblas) and they suggest Rambla 130 and it was directly across the street! We simply walked over there to make our appointment. It wasn't so easy to find, not a lot of signage, but we had the right address and someone in the building told us it was on the 3rd floor. The nice girl that spoke some english made our reservations and fit us in that afternoon. We were thrilled. They have all kinds of services, several massages incuding reflexology to choose from and also they do facials, manicures, pedicures. The don't have the hot tubs and saunas and that whole experience that full blown spas have (at least I don't think so, I did note someone showering there) but their massage services were really good and we didn't have all day anyway. I was really wanting a deep tissue massage (they called that an "osteo" massage) and my friend wanted a softer massage. The prices were great-the osteo was $60 an hour and a regular massage was $50. The W Hotel was way pricier than that, about 3 times as much. To my disappointment they got us mixed up (I think there was a lack of communication) and I got the softer massage. But maybe it all worked out because my friend ended up needing some more intensity and my person, her name was Ava, did such a great job with me. She did an all over massage, versus just focusing on the hurting areas, so I think we both ended up getting what we needed. I would give Ava 5 stars. My friend had a guy give her massage and I know she was really happy with him too. I wish we had time to try their different services. A pedicure or facial looked so enticing but we were short on time. Loved the atmosphere of the place, modern and calming. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

We have dinner rsvp at 9pm so it was cutting it a bit close. So we had our own private room with a King size bed, heated, with a Balinese Stone Bath Tub. It was so romantic and relaxing. It was a nice change to be on a King size heated bed, instead of a massage table. The interior decor really reminded me of the famous Bali Spas. which made me want to go to Bali even more!! * ONE DAY * My masseuse was a small asian girl and she scrubbed my whole body- except private area- with this salt scrub. Then she asked me to take a bath in the bath tub and then lay back down so she could put lotion on my body. It was nice but I would of liked it if it came with a massage. But sadly it was just a scrub and then putting on lotion. If I came here again I would get a massage with a body peel and a traditional Balinese bath for 30-45 mins. thats 3 services in total. The prices are very cheap so its worth it. I definitely regretted not getting them.
