I hired Tim to complete two MLD projects nearly a year ago. His initial bills totaled $5,134 for both projects, which we paid in full upfront.
Unfortunately, the process involved repeated delays and constant follow-up on our part. On multiple occasions, we were told that items had been submitted to the County, but when my wife contacted the County directly, we learned they had not been submitted or completed.
After nearly a year, Tim sent us an additional bill for $8,257.50 in fees that had never previously been discussed or agreed to and refused to complete the projects without additional payment.
Neither MLD was completed. We are now being forced to hire another surveyor and start both projects completely over from the beginning. Tim has also refused to refund the $5,134 we paid upfront and has stated that he intends to remove survey pins he previously placed on the properties.
I have completed more than 20 MLDs in the past, and every one of them was completed in under six months with little to no additional fees. I have never experienced anything like this. These two projects have now taken nearly a year, remain unfinished, and have cost us significant additional time and expense.
Based on my experience, I would highly suggest you find someone else for your project. read more
