This is a medical transport but in addition to the $1500 cost, I had to pay an additional $500 to add a medical person to ride with my mother on a MEDICAL Transport. Unfortunately. I did not have the time to call other transport companies and paid the outrageous fee. But the worst part was when they brought in the transport bed and all they had covering the bed was a blue tarp with what looked like stains! No sheets, pillows, or blankets were provided for a 3 hour drive. I had to rush around and provide these basic items!!! Although the drivers were very nice, I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone who is transporting a loved one ANY distance.

We had no other option but to hire a medical transport company. I received a couple of quotes from some other companies but TransMedCare had the best rate and honestly the best representative of the companies I spoke with. Andrew was quick to respond, follow up and put me at ease that our mom was going to be well taken care of on the ride. They were on time, professional but yet I felt very caring and sympathetic to what my sisters and I were going through. She arrived safe and sound and if anyone ever thought about needing this type of service I would hope they would hire TransMedCare. I am not one to write reviews but this company deserves 5 stars hands down. You take your chances on hiring a service like this but hopefully good reviews will put others at ease and you hire the best!!!

I was not allowed to stretch as it made my disability more intolerable. It cost me about $8,000 out of pocket and it was not worth that amount. The captain chair was promised to us and they kept it for their naps. We had to make them stop in mid-transport because our mother was burning up from the lack of air conditioning in the vehicle. The drivers were argumentative and highly disrespectful. They finally stopped at a gas station, so we could get ice because she was burning up from the vehicle being so hot in Florida weather without air and the windows were up. (They wouldn't open the windows either) We called 911 to finish the transport because this company wouldn't send another vehicle. When our mother arrived at the hospital she had 102.8 fever. She had no fever when she left 20 minutes prior. The woman that answered the phone was nasty and called us a liar. She was one of the most horrible people I've ever encountered in all my years, and it had to be on the day we were transporting our mother to her home to die with hospice. What horrible people they all are. I hope no one uses this company. I wouldn't wish the treatment we received on my worst enemy! I wouldn't wish it on the devil himself. We had hoped to bring our mother to her home to die in peace and now she's stuck at a hospital to wait for another transportation company. Please don't use them!

I am always a little early for my appointments ( same time I would arrive if I drove myself) and I'm picked up in 15 mins or less when I call and say I'm done. I think this is great service. I had other companies not pick me up for 2-4 hours. I could go on and on on what a great service they do. They are also compassionate drivers. They treat you like family. I am very thankful for them.
