Decent prices and units have their own water heater which is nice but costly on the water bill,…read moresince its not one of the utilities paid in rent (Including electric) Some units have a built in fireplace which comes in handy for those cold winter nights. they have 1-3 bedrooms available that are decent sized, almost all with a patio or balcony (Exluding the west bottom floor). Its a pretty basic building with nice neighbors, but in a very very big need of many things being replaced, worked on, and modernized/ updated, but you really cant complain with the prices.. Another thing they could use is another maitenance person on staff. Another downfall of the building if you fall on the east side of the apartments, it is right next to highway 169, and its very busy and loud early mornings and early evenings. Particularly close to a commercial and pesonal train system, the train horns can also be very loud and annoying at times. Tis the price you pay for lower middle class decent living though i suppose.

I found my car missing the next morning and had to pay $200 to get it back. On the guest parking sign, someone had written 'Tara Hills Only!' in sharpie, which had not been there the night before. After getting my car back I found a bright orange sticker on the window that stated it was my second warning- it was not. I tried calling the apartment but the number I called only took me to a string of recorded scams involving medicare and auto repair. Very sketchy, I can only imagine what kind of scams they pull on their tenants.

these apartments are some of the worst I've lived in the country. The apartments look nice enough…read morebut the staff are the worst. Maintenance does not fix thing when or the way they should and despite leaving the apartment immaculate they kept over 300$ of my 500$ deposit. the Maintenance man John sits in the office all night watching the cameras even tho they record all events among other things that didnt sit quite right with me.if you need something fixed good luck I lived in an apartment with a broken shower rod and it was supposed to be painted but never was for 2.25 years. if your thinking of renting...DO NOT! if you've read this far you must really care about you and your family please head my words. sincerely a former tenant

Stay as far away from this place as possible! We have lived here for 3 years. My family loved it…read moreuntil the 3rd year lease. I had a minor run in with the caretaker (caretaker was shown to be at fault....and we all received the results in writing) and my wife made a complaint to the management about a safety concern (the caretaker has been caught watching the cameras late at night wearing only shorts.) They have retaliated and harassed my wife and young daughter many times. We had to go to the police for it numerous times. The caretaker continues to lie to the police, lies to the manager, and lies to the building owner. Now, instead of sitting at the desk in the office with his feet up watching citizens walk in and out, he now does all of the office snooping with the door closed and lights out. The caretaker (and his nosy wife) are always into other residents business. They have been caught entering other residents apartments without reason. They discipline all kids except their own....even placed their hands upon someone else's child's face. The caretakers retaliate with a vengeance. It is no longer safe for my daughter to play outside. They will obviously do anything to get back at us now. Easter Sunday the caretaker placed the elevator on hold so my family could not use it to carry up our leftovers. Memorial weekend an important and spendy package of ours got stolen and he refused to watch the cameras when he arrived late (he told the police he would be here to watch cameras at 7.) He arrived after 8:40 and laughed telling us we had to wait until Tuesdsy. We are residents here and being treated like criminals and liars when we have done nothing wrong . Someth ing needs to be done about John murrell. We are done with him harrassing and retaliating against us. This is not right and I don't understand how the owner and land lord of this place keep letting it happen . The land lord told me out of his own mouth that he almost was fired the last we put a review up. He also said that the caretaker was retaliating against us. Nothing changes. He continues to push it off and now we had to hire a team of lawyers and have gotten hud involved for renters rights violations to see what can be done about this guy and the company he is employed by which is nexus real estate. We are not the type of people that make and leave nasty reviews but this guy continues to laugh at us and retaliate against us over and over no matter how many complaints or how many times we talked to the landlord or the police so hopefully this will make someone or the right person realize what is going on and something will be taken care of because this guy cannot keep on doing this to people it is illegal. We have no had our lease not renewed because of John murrell the caretaker . Now this morning I recieve an email from Terry the landlord of the building again making excuses for John and protecting his inexcusable behavior towards residents in this building. We have tried numerous times to have Terry take care of this but he continues to brush it off or refuse to stop John from retaliating . As far as I knew I thought landlords and care takers of apts are there to help not make your life miserable and laugh at you when you report something stolen from there building. Please read and share so this doesn't happen to others . People have been moving out of here since we moved because of John and his wife and now we see why . Thanks for reading .

As a previous review put it, "slum lords" is right. One of the worst apartments I have ever seen or…read morelived in. They do a bait and switch with the deposit and rent raising it above the advertised price by hundred of dollars only after they take your deposit without asking. They asked for a debit card number to verify employment and then took out a large sum of money saying it was to cover the deposit and first months rent without even asking first... oh and BTW the apartment isn't going to be ready for another 3 months. So not only did I have to couch surf for 3 months before I could move in, but they completely emptied my bank account. When they gave me a walkthrough of the apartment they randomly had what they said was "tenants" in the apartment cooking shrimp so I couldn't smell anything and they claimed to have outdoor smoking areas which led me to believe it was smoking outside only. Come to find out during my second trip while moving in that the whole place smelt like an ashtray and you could even visibly see the smoke coming in through the vents. The apartment was a wreck when I moved in (I had never seen it unfurnished) there was paint splatter everywhere, holes in the vinyl flooring, dirt and grime everywhere, a fridge that would barely open because they put one in that was too big, a fire hazard built in heater from the 1980s that was perpetually on and could not be turned off. The front door barely locked and I regularly had someone trying to break into the apartment. When I reported to management they asked "Why would someone want to break into your apartment. Do you have nice things in there?" Are you serious???? After that they told me there was nothing they could do and to call the police. When I brought up the door they said they would send someone out but never did. A few months into my stay the city closed down the entire street leading into the apartment so you would have to wait (sometimes 30 minutes to an hour) to enter or exit the building on an off-road path that was very difficult for anything besides and SUV or truck. A few months after that all of the furnaces broke and would make an insanely loud noise ever 5-10 minutes during all hours of the night and day and were not fixed for over 3 months. They were still making noise by the time I left... oh and when I say noisy I mean airplane taking off, window rattling, loud noise that would last for 5 minutes at a time and would wake everyone up. I could hear the neighbors screaming about it since it was driving everyone over the edge. To make matters worse I did all of the repairs and tidied the place up during my stay so that when I left it was in better condition than when I arrived. They told me I would be forced to use my deposit to hire a cleaning crew and when I told them I had everything needed to do a professional cleaning myself they reluctantly agreed. The lease agreement was so awful and one sided that if you left before the year you could be paying rent on the apartment while they did renovations and would be responsible for an additional 1k charge just because. They were almost a month late in returning my deposit (which is actually against the law) and when I received it back I found out they had charged me to update concrete on the patio that was old and cracked because of the weather and said that I was responsible for paying the first half a month electricity and water for the next tenant. This place is a nightmare. Stay far away.

OK I am moving in September to a nicer place in Rogers. This place started off great but INH…read moreProperties are clearly slum lords. The building rugs when you walk in the complex are filthy the walls have patched paint jobs all over them. The Washers are broken for weeks at a time (currently 1 broken out of 3 for 2 weeks now, before that one was broken for 3 weeks) They cant control other tenants, but the tenants here (Now) steal your packages, leave clothes in washer for literally hours and the oh so nice building manager does nothing (nice being sarcastic) The new maintenance man and cleaning lady are amazing but can only do so much, the other Maintanance man is the building managers father (yep) so your in a no win situation, INH is aware of this and does nothing. They now charge for water, yet 99.9% of the time water softener is empty and your paying for hard water. I rent a garage but in the winter good luck getting into it as they don't plow at least until 3-4 days after the snow. The driveway is solid ice as they sand they wont salt. I have talked to INH a few times, they play a good game how much they dislike the current manager were so sorry etc etc but 3 years it hasn't changed. The apartments are 1980 style, with 3-4" of ice on Windows during the winter its steam pipe heat so never overly warm in the apartments. I smoke here and there, but do so on patio my neighbors with 3 people in a 1 bedroom smoke ALL the time the hallway stinks my guest room smells like smoke again, I smoke but not inside my place. 1 wall unit AC they you need to blow fans into rooms to cool them. Bottom line look elsewhere, the only cool thing about this place it was close to work and I met some cool friends. They all left for the same reasons. I am getting a higher end place with a washer and dryer in the unit to avoid all the things I dealt with while living here. It started off cool right after my divorce but they tend to rent to people you don't want as neighbors who steals your packages? of course Breanna (bling manager) says "Yea we get that complaint a lot" Run don't walk from this place, you can do much much much better!
