I really like this range it has times when not many there you can take you time and shoot as much or little as you want. I was having issues with old gun Mr. Evans was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a rifle from him, and he mounted and bore sighted a scope I already had within a few minutes. I sighted rifle in while there. I was in and out with a brand-new rifle and scope sighted in less than two hours where I had been struggling with old rifle for weeks. I will be back!! Worth the drive from Lufkin!! I had the range to myself for a couple hours and couldn't believe there wasn't another person there! It is a great range! The owner was there when I was shooting and he did a great job of giving me space and not checking on me... I hate it when you have RSO's breathing down your neck the entire time you are shooting. I almost hate to write a good review because I want the place to myself every time :). But the owner was very friendly and deserves the business!! The actual store was kind of lacking but considering how hard it is to get guns and ammo right now I cant blame him! It cost me $11 to shoot two guns... which is very responsible where I come from (i usually pay $15 for 30 minutes in my home town). I also got to shoot as long as I wanted as the price is set per gun you shoot and not by time! So if you wanna take your time and really work on your shot this is the place!! They provide you with a free target per gun but they allow you to place your own targets out on the cardboard as well. The 300 yard range is also all steel targets which I thought was nice! Its a great family owned business and is now my new go-to range in the area. read more

Evans Bros is not too far outside Lufkin. The rifle and pistol ranges have plenty of spaces, only $8 for 1 gun, I believe only $2 per additional gun, and you may shoot all you want. Casey is very friendly and willing to help with any questions or gun issues you may have. He's an excellent source of advice. Also a great dealer and does CHL classes at this location. Every time I go, the ranges are always mowed, clean, the lanes and desks neat. His shop is spotless and clean. Very organized. This is my preferred location to shoot. read more

Ugh! Wayyyyyy out in da county... got time? Nope....charges per gun to shoot...which hey, I guess is okay if you are in a good location, but what's the draw to this locale? Nice place to shoot and the place is kept up nicely. The personnel are nice and professional and they have a great customer service attitude. One great delight, nobody smokes in there! The reason why I gave it a four star rating is because the range would greatly benefit from an on-site range safety officer. Their RSO is in and out and unable to supervise unsafe acts when not present. read more

I have been there many times, good helpful folks work there better prices than the big chain stores ,tax rate lower than Lufkin by 2% so that saves you money, If they don't have it can get you anything you want in a day or two, buy a gun get a free range day to use when ever you want , good price's on gun's and scopes, best time to go to range during week sometimes pretty busy on Saturday. read more

Well worth the drive. Staff is always super friendly and willing to offer assistance. Range is set up very nice for rifles and handguns. Out to 300 yard targets with steel plates. Paper targets provided. Seating is great. Custom made shooting benches with perfect height and sandbags to adjust position. Will definitely keep coming. read more
