So I've been debating whether to update this review or not. While the office is nice and in a…read moreconvenient location, and Dr. Barr is knowledgeable about his medical discipline, it was very disappointing to find out late in the game that he is not in the practice of filling out State forms (e.g. State of NJ temporary disability application). I tried to contact the office on behalf of my boyfriend who was getting treatment from him. He called a few times and didn't get a call back, so I emailed the office and got a terse message in response. The message said that the doctor generally doesn't fill out these forms. As an alternative, the office faxed a copy of his MRI results and a note to the State. However, had we known he wouldn't fill out the *required* form for the application, we would not have seen him in the first place. So that's why I felt I needed to update this review. If you have had a chronic condition to the extent where you may need to apply for disability, know that the office will not complete the State forms for you. In retrospect (and this is on us), I wish we had not just gone to see him based on the referral from my boyfriend's orthopedic doctor. Instead, we should have researched and found a different specialist. We ended up finding another doctor in West Orange who filled out the form and was more supportive.

Dr. Fahima has played the most critical role in giving me my life back. I am from Texas and…read morerelocating to NJ permanently to stay close to her- she is THAT good. We showed up at her office desperate for answers after I had been bedridden for over 30 days in excruciating pain. Dr. Fahima jumped straight into action and guided us on who to see next while also running her own tests. She validated all of my concerns/feelings, which was HUGE after experiencing SO many doctors who wouldn't help or didn't know how. Within 30 days we've experienced night and day with my health- I am up and moving again and above all have HOPE that things will continue to get better and that I am in the best hands for long term care with Dr. Fahima. She has excellent bedside manner, is so knowledgeable and EDUCATES her patients while treating them, the infusion center is wonderful and efficient. We just couldn't be happier with them and Dr. Fahima.

My insurance was charged $800 by them for this office visit which involved no tests, just having her look at my thumb. Massive overcharging! I would highly recommend seeing other rheumatologists that don't gouge you for a no frills office visit. I ended up going to CVS on my own and bought a bandage that immobilized my thumb for a couple of weeks and it was fine.
