If you call the office, all you ever get is voicemail and then no courtesy of a return call. E-mail inquiries are handled the same, no courtesy of a response. If you go to their office, the door is locked during published business hours. We are frustrated with this lack of response and are stuck as we have two years worth of taxes to complete and need sktax's knowledge of past filings to complete. Bottom line, if you are looking for a reliable and responsive service, suggest you look elsewhere. As an addendum to the above, finally received an email response to our multiple requests for contact. After hand delivering our two years of tax files to Steve personally in mid September we are now told in mid November that the earliest that Steve will complete our work is Feb. 2021. Only reason I am giving this company a 1 Star review is because they don't allow you to give zero…read morestars. I typically file my taxes on TurboTax. When I went to file my taxes this year, I noticed there was a mistake made on the 2024 tax filing so in order to fix that I attempted to hire this company as my CPA. We set a phone call appointment at 9 AM. No one from this company called me until 10 AM which was at a time where I was not available anymore. In the voicemail, the CPA Mike even stated that there may have been a miscommunication and he's sorry that he didn't call earlier in the day. This is no problem for me as I called back when I was available to reset a phone call appointment. I mentioned to them when they call me to please call twice as sometimes it's easy to miss the first call. When we set the next appointment, Mike never called. Instead he said he thought I was going to swing by the office for an appointment on a Saturday. Odd since he never reached out on Saturday to see if I was coming, but for some reason, he expected me to come. I called back on Monday and said hey I'd like to sign the paperwork to on board. I spoke with Mike. He said that that's great and to call Faith their office manager. Where she was then happy to email me over the client agreement where I can print sign and scan back to them via email. The agreement was signed the same night. The next morning I receive a call from Faith where she leads off by saying we received your signed agreement and I spoke to the CPA and he stated that I No showed two appointments. Bear in mind, even if I was supposed to call in directly to Mike. There is no direct line to call into anybody at the office as they have a typical extension tree you have to deal with. So if you're ever calling them and they ever set an appointment with them, just so you know in order to get a hold of them you have to go through their extension tree. Makes sense as a client that you would have to do that for a phone appointment and they wouldn't call you.. icing on the cake was this was about a 2 to 3 week back-and-forth process and they decided as a favor to me on April 15 today tax day they would not be accepting me as a new client, but they would be happy to charge me $100 to file an extension. Just in case any other firm does this for you, I hope everyone knows you're able to file an extension for free online. I would say a normal company would have told me when I missed an appointment that they would not accept me as a client and it would've been nice to know that two weeks ago. Good luck to whoever attempts to work with this company. Patrick Rucker won't be your CPA. Just a guy named Mike with an assistant named Faith, who is not interested in arguing the facts. Let's see if they have a cookie cutter response to this review as I'm sure they will.
