It's kept well stocked and clean throughout the day, and there's usually security at the door keeping the order. You can find almost anything you need, including some ethnic foods and also nice treats, like speciality teas and baked goods. Their bread is quite nice, especially the wholemeal sourdoughs. If you are on a special diet, Fresh also has you covered, selling a variety of non-dairy milks - almond, coconut, soy, rice - and gluten-free foods. On the other hand, if your food choices are more about buying fair trade or organic, locally sourced products, you can pick a slightly more expensive package of quinoa or some delicious sprouts from The Happy Pear here that won't weigh so much on your conscience. There are deals to be found here, especially on seasonal fruit as well as some wines. Additionally, there's an Insomnia café inside, a deli counter open during weekdays and a small but good magazine and newspapers stand.

If it's not chicken fillet, they should make that clear. I bought 2 cans of Slatterys Cider, and both were out of date by just under a month. There is nothing particularly Fresh about this shop. It is really quite similar to the Mace that was there before, although it does have a coffee shop area, and is more expensive.

I live just off baggot street and I just have bonded with this place; I've been in a few times but…read morewhen I think about grabbing a bite to eat this place doesn't top my list. The coffee is not great here which problem adds to why I overlook it here, as coffee is always on the top of my list when grabbing some lunch. It's nice place to grab some artisan foods or nibbles for when you have guests coming. They also have a little newsagents thing going on so you can grab a magazine/newspaper. They have a deli, a hot grill option plus there is fresh juices and smoothies available here.

Did you know that there is a tiny post office at the back of this store?…read moreNo? How do I know such information? Well like the vast majority of dwellers on this island I was unemployed for the first time in my life several months ago and I never want to return to that part of my life - who does? As a result I came here every Tuesday to get my free money. Folks dressed in their business best claiming, rather sad really. Although it was a tad comical having to walk through this upscale grocery store to claim. Sometimes I messed with their head and bought an over priced tub of cut up fruit and and some pretentious juice. Thank the powers that be I am employed again but I still have found the service in there borderline rude - I don't feel the need to dress up to do my shopping. If you just want to get a few bits and pieces this is the place and again I have only tried this one. I am not opposed to upper end shopping as I am a fan of Listons chiefly due to their tea range.

Fresh on Camden St took over the Spar that used to be on the same site. I was wary of this particular changeover, as this particular Spar was renowned for it's chicken fillet rolls, but lo and behold, Fresh give good roll. And their deli is eye-poppingly varied. They have the normal sandwich fillings, as well as the standard hot food stuff (jambons, lasagne, etc). But then they also sell stir frys and pasta, and all sorts fancy parma ham and proscuttio and some plain weird shit like scotch eggs. They also have a nice little coffee counter where you can sit down and drink your tea or coffee from delph rather than the standard paper cup. There groceries are a teeny bit on the pricey side, but then they are a convernience store rather than a supermarket, do what are you gonna do?
