Pre-made refrigerated dishes & they carry some other local Thunderbay pantry goodies. I tried their FINNISH PANCAKE CREPE (4/5) and their SPICY RUBEN SANDWICH (4/5). I like that Finnish 'pancakes' are just a thicker eggy type crepe that's soft & chewy. They topped it off with fresh whipped cream & berry compote. The sandwich was interesting & overall good too. I liked the spicy kick from the kimchi. Definitely get the sandwich toasted with garlic butter. I love that you can also customize your sandwich or choose from the menu of sandwiches with predetermined fixings! I would check em out for a yummy & cute patio lunch/brunch spot.

We came here for Sunday brunch with friends and ordered the Timberjack Special (all day breakfast…read moremeal) and Mojakka Meal (homemade menu). My husband and I wanted to try the Finnish staples. Overall, the food was good. The breakfast was standard and as expected. I liked the Finnish pancakes because they were soft, buttery, and the right amount of eggy. I just wished the dish was a bit more filling. My husband enjoyed his Mojakka stew -- it was hearty and comforting. The beef was tender. It wasn't the most flavourful stew, but I think the point of this stew is to be hearty and classic rather than unique / bursting with spices. Again, my only criticism would be the portion size being on the smaller side. The service was prompt and friendly.

The hostess brought our coffee right away. The server was there in a couple minutes to take our order and the food was out in five minutes. You'll want to try the Finnish pancakes.

These are my favourite flavours that I'd recommend: 1) pumpkin spiced cheesecake - seasonal (this was an employee recommendation, and I was initially sceptical but it is SO unique and SO GOOD) 2) pistachio - so rich, creamy, and nutty 3) cold brew (milk based version) - great coffee flavour 4) froot loops - so addictive and unique 5) snickers - even better than the chocolate bar Other flavours that I've tried but didn't make my top 5: very chocolate, banana, strawberry, hazelnut chocolate, peanut butter chocolate pretzel, dairy-free London Fog, coffee baileys I love how Prime Gelato has seasonal flavours and there's always something new to try! Only nitpick was that they accidentally gave me chicken instead of tofu in my Venus Bowl, and I only found out after I got home -- but they corrected their error by promising me a free Venus Bowl with tofu the next time I come in. Though the food is tasty, it's not as amazing as others keep raving about. Perhaps my expectations were too high given the price point. Portions are reasonable and filling. Bottom line, I'd still give other menu items a try next time.

No hotels in a 4 hour drive radius. Spent a few hours in a warm welcoming bakery eating pizza with the young men working the overnight shift. Another night on a major music tour across Canada our after show food arrived ( from a national chain I won't name ) it was inedible. Gross. A 2am call to Donato's fixed everything. They showed up with half a dozen of the best pizzas we had on the entire trip. There are more stories like this about Donato's. If you live here, you are indeed fortunate. 5 freakin' stars
