We came here for Sunday brunch with friends and ordered the Timberjack Special (all day breakfast…read moremeal) and Mojakka Meal (homemade menu). My husband and I wanted to try the Finnish staples. Overall, the food was good. The breakfast was standard and as expected. I liked the Finnish pancakes because they were soft, buttery, and the right amount of eggy. I just wished the dish was a bit more filling. My husband enjoyed his Mojakka stew -- it was hearty and comforting. The beef was tender. It wasn't the most flavourful stew, but I think the point of this stew is to be hearty and classic rather than unique / bursting with spices. Again, my only criticism would be the portion size being on the smaller side. The service was prompt and friendly.

The hostess brought our coffee right away. The server was there in a couple minutes to take our order and the food was out in five minutes. It was amazing how quickly they moved people through there without seeming like they were trying to push them out the door. And, by the way, the food was excellent. You'll want to try the Finnish pancakes.

The cinnamon bun griller was a cool idea. I would try it again, perhaps they over toasted it because it was crunchy like a cookie sandwich. The eggs, toast, and coffee were great. Only nitpick was that they accidentally gave me chicken instead of tofu in my Venus Bowl, and I only found out after I got home -- but they corrected their error by promising me a free Venus Bowl with tofu the next time I come in. Though the food is tasty, it's not as amazing as others keep raving about. Perhaps my expectations were too high given the price point. Portions are reasonable and filling. Bottom line, I'd still give other menu items a try next time.

I ended up getting a combo that came with 2 pancakes, sausage, and potatoes and butter toast an this was pretty yummy. The pancakes were thing and sweet but not too sweet. I was not a big fan of the sausage but really enjoyed the toast which was nice and buttery and ofc the potatoes. This place is very reasonably priced, and for the price the portion is really big, which is awesome!

The chicken patty was heavy and greasy too. Didn't like the fries much either, they were kinda clunky. Definitely opt for their namesake, the burgers rather than the chicken. I did not enjoy this bite. Workers were kind and helpful though. It was a very quick service, and we were in and out of the space. It feels much like a Wendy's but a bit more local.
