Let me down on the second visit. Was left with a leaking radiator which they had installed on the previous visit. Had to continually top up with water until it inevitably wee'd its coolant all over the road. Went elsewhere for another new radiator. Second visit not so good!

Last year on my aging car my exhaust started blowing just before my MOT test was due, on taking it to an exhaust centre I was told it needed a new exhaust, I booked it in for the following day but as it is an older car I decided to take it up to DL with concerns in case there were any major repairs needed for the MOT(was it worth a new exhaust or coming to the end of its' life!). Don, proprietor of DL, came to the rescue as well as doing a pre mot check over which was positive, he informed me that the exhaust was only broken behind the silencer and could be repaired with a sleeve welded on at a minimal cost. That was last August and my car(touch wood) remains safely quiet thanks to the integrity of DL motors saving me a major cost just at the time of MOT test.

A nice young lady took the booking and my address, name and number of passengers. "Sorted", I thought. At 10:15 I was getting a bit nervous so I called and the lady said that they were just getting a car for me and that it would be with us "soon". at 10:25 my partner phoned again to be told the car would be with us at 10:35. At 10:40 I called. I spoke to a guy this time. It seems clear from the silence when I asked about my (10PM!!) booking and the clicking of the computer keyboard that they had either forgotten about me or the lady did not take my booking at all, or she failed to book it onto their system. I just had no explanation - simply silence. I told them to forget it. Luckily we weren't stranded 7 miles away from where we wanted to go at nearly 11pm on New Year's Eve and we made it into town. But we will NEVER use Citytax again.
