Inside the shop you will find a good stock of bikes for kids and adults , car parts for all different makes , sat navs , oil filters and car speakers. This is a very good shop which is well laid out , at the back of the shop you will find the bike department , if you buy a bike Halfords will put the bike together for you if you wish. Halfords also have a good range of carseats , if you need advice on which carseat is suitable for your car just ask a member of staff who will fit the carseat in your car. As a female I'd love to claim that I'm good when it comes to knowledge of the workings of cars, unfortunately however I'm absolutely useless! It was a good job then that when one of the headlight bulbs went in my car recently that I headed straight for Halfords. The guys working in there were incredibly friendly and thankfully didn't patronise me (even when I had to ask them which light I actually needed). Bit out of the way from the city centre but this place is a good shop to get all your automotive products from. The staff always seem knowledgeable I often use the reserve and collect service which ensures I always get the product I need. They have a good product range and their bikes are always competitively priced. However as Lazytown alludes Spares is a bit cheaper. read more

if you are buying a bike at Halfords be aware! I paid £170 for a bike purchased last September and a fault occurred 2 weeks ago with the back cassettee and apparently a ( bent rear axle)?which meant i could no longer use it. Took it back to Halfords who said it would cost £150 and nothing they could do for me as to quote "you get what you pay for" and also said it should have been serviced at 4 weeks and suggested i buy another at reduced price of £99. Surely this is wrong. read more
