That's when I called Mary at Katy Kitchen and Bath, what a godsend she is. From the very first phone conversation I knew I wanted to work with her but the question was could we afford her. She came over the very next day and gave us some great advice, some hope that this project could actually be finished and best of all her estimate was very reasonable! She and Vern got right to work that week fitting us in between other jobs they were already working on. Our kitchen is beautiful! Thank you Vern and Mary for a job well done!

We now have a FUNCTIONAL, BEAUTIFUL kitchen AND TWO bathrooms. The design help we got was so creative and enabled us to use some old wood for open shelving to keep some of the antique house vibe, but the white cabinets give the spaces a clean, fresh feel without feeling modern. The drawers open ALL the way, the cabinets don't slam shut, the trim is LOVELY...DO spring for the crown. It makes a WORLD of difference. (They have a ton of colors...I just liked the white.) BTW, this is not my first experience with Premier Cabinets....My daughter's house flooded in Harvey, and she got replacement cabinets from Premier. That was the first. Then they remodeled their 1960s house and got their cabinets again from Premier. That's why I went with them. The cabinet quality is really nice, the drawers are good quality, the trim looks amazing, the color and style choices are myriad... Plus, they're nice people to work with! They were SO patient with me when we ended up with structural issues and had to wait a LONG time for installation. When Victor and his buddy came to install, they were SUCH a pleasure to work with. They pointed out one drawer that had gotten damaged, and had a replacement before I knew it. They set up their cutting space outside, so didn't fill my house with sawdust. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure EVERYTHING was in perfect order! It all ended up SO nice! I'll add pictures once my old-wood shelving is installed.

Funny thing, i found my design drawings from years ago....and i remember changing my layout after looking at the design for a day or two. I am glad i did. The team was great when i made the change (before i ordered my cabinets). Overall, no complaints...

Harrison Construction & Remodel completely redid our home in two phases which helped us cope with…read moresuch a big undertaking. They first redid all of the exterior with hardy plank, new windows, doors, paint, landscaping. That was for the house and detached garage. Then they tackled the first floor with all new wood flooring, a rearranged and totally new kitchen, new cabinets, fixtures, lighting, floors (tile), paint. The rest of the downstairs was given new paint, floors, shutters, moldings, electrical upgrades and lighting. New look in the 1/2 bath. We explained to them what we would like to see done and the result went way over what we expected or hoped. We were thrilled. Phase 2 was the upstairs, especially the Master Bed and Bath. New carpet upstairs, new electrical fixtures and lighting, new molding in all the rooms and hall bathroom with new fixtures brought the whole upstairs into a great look and super function. All of the closets were reworked to make them much more organized. But the Master bedroom's builtin cabinets were more than I had requested! The design by the owner was spot on and much more than I had even thought could be done. The Master bath is so beautiful with the new layout, new tile work, new light fixtures, new cabinets and new concepts - down to a toe tester in the walk-in shower. We had thought we would downsize or remodel after retirement. I am so thankful that we finally decided to remodel! Best decision and choice of a company that overlooked each group of workers and checked each detail. Kudoes to Harrison Construction & Remodel. Brandon, the owner, was great to work with and so patient with all of my questions. His designs and suggestions were so right for the house and we have never regretted our choice to work with him.

VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE -- BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING!…read more If I could give SpaceManager zero stars, I absolutely would. The only positive part of our experience was the designer, who deserves five stars for her professionalism, creativity, and the excellent 3D design she prepared for us. Unfortunately, the company's management and business practices were a completely different story. The designer came to our home, spent time understanding our needs, and created a beautiful 3D closet design. We were initially very impressed and seriously considered moving forward with the company. However, when it came to pricing, we were offered a 30% manager's discount, which we agreed to consider. Before signing the final agreement, we carefully reviewed the proposal and discovered numerous errors and items that had been removed or cut from our original design. This was extremely disappointing because the proposal did not reflect what we had discussed and expected. The advertised 30% discount meant very little when items were being removed from the project. My biggest concern is transparency and trust. A discount should be a genuine discount, not something that distracts customers from missing items, changes to the design, or errors in the proposal. Thankfully, we reviewed everything carefully before committing further. My advice to anyone considering SpaceManager is to read every single detail of the contract and make sure every item you discussed is clearly included in writing before signing or making any payment. We were also very disappointed with the manager's attitude. Instead of handling our concerns professionally and respectfully, we found him rude and difficult to communicate with. The way our concerns were handled completely damaged our confidence in the company. We ultimately decided not to move forward because we no longer felt comfortable trusting the company with our project. It is such a shame because the designer was excellent, but a good designer cannot make up for poor management, a lack of transparency, and an unpleasant customer experience. My recommendation: Be extremely careful, double-check your proposal, confirm every detail, and do not let a big discount pressure you into signing. For us, trust is everything, and unfortunately, SpaceManager failed to earn ours. The designer gets 5 stars from me. The management and overall company experience get 0 stars. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
