Great product and service for travelers in Spain. I had wonderful 4G reception in virtually all…read morelocations. This included Barcelona, Madrid and Tenerife. Picked up the mobile hotspot easily from the Barcelona Airport and dropped it off just as easily at a mailbox in the Madrid Airport. 6.99€ per day for unlimited internet bandwidth shareable amongst multiple devices is hard to beat. It definitely beats the $10 per day that my carrier charges. Seeing how connected we are these days and how dependent we are on our smartphones for directions, communication & reviews, picking up a mobile hotspot is a no-brainer. I had a great experience with Wifivox.

I will never...ever...ever travel without WiFi again. EVER…read more After my trip to Tokyo, I realized that constantly having a WiFi signal is crucial to the success of my vacations. So when we booked our trip to Barcelona I immediately looked for folks that offered a pocket WiFi. Wifivox seems to be the leader in the industry - and I can see why. It was about €48 euros for 5 days of unlimited internet. ALWAYS had a super strong signal, even when traveling on Metro - and went to Monserrat and Figueres and still had great signal. Used the WiFi to get directions (THIS IS THE BEST), search nearby for recommendations on Yelp (DUH), keep in contact with family, post photos to Facebook to make all my friends jealous (duh), browse the web on long train rides...and everything else you do when you are on WiFi. The top two - getting directions and searching Yelp - are SO crucial to having a good time on vacation - at least for me. On our last day in Spain we had a 24 hour connection in Madrid - with no portable WiFi. We made plans before we left the hotel WiFi and when we arrived to the restaurant it was packed with no tables. AH, no worries, I'll just check for another restaurant. Oh wait...I can't. We ended up at a great place by doing the old "Let me peek at the menu and see how packed the places is as a good sign they are legit", but it would of been great to search nearby. Direction were also tough. While Google maps is viewable, it's so much better to have it live and it's telling you the direction you are traveling in (as to avoid going the wrong way a few blocks, till you catch your mistake) or having it map the fastest/easiest route for you. The batteries lasted us a long time - and we were able to charge it on the go when we needed to. The device and charger are super lightweight and easy to carry around. The process of getting/returning the device is super easy. You rent it online and can have have it delivered to your hotel. Pick it up at check in - and then send it back with a prepaid envelope at the end of your trip. That's it! Do it next time you are traveling abroad - I know I always will.

Connor went above and beyond the call of duty…read more He is an Irishman and speaks Spanish and has a wealth of knowledge and connections in all things real estate-related in Barcelona! I definitely recommend him because he is friendly, hard-working, and he helped us tremendously with our move. 1. He found us an amazing apartment in the best part of town. 2. He found us a storage room at a great price. 3. He resourced a parking garage for us in the new neighborhood. 4. He provided cleaning services. 5. He got us the best deal for internet services. 6. He got us very efficient movers. etc, etc, etc.... you get the picture! Just Landed in Barcelona always has different types of housing to fit your needs. When I first landed in Barcelona I wish that I had encountered Conor instead of the typical cheesy…read morerental agency that ink stuck with for now. These nasty people refused at first to refund my Reservation Deposit and also tried to Jerry-rig the rent payments to overlap....incredible! ( Hint: they like to wear soft shoes!) A friend recommended Conor and he immediately pointed out the illegality of what was going on. I resisted their bullying of a 70yr old man and eventually got a new contract. Soon I will buy an apartment of my own and I will be glad to have Conor to guide me through that process. His services include connections in Design and Construction, as well as running his own agency. Un Saludo, Conor.

I'm rating this Apartement the top , it's modern, quite Apartement , great location in city center…read more, clean , fully equipped .

Be very careful with the extra charges and the check-in process here…read more Our biggest issue was not the apartment itself. It was how the host handled communication, extra fees, and arrival. Before the stay, we were suddenly asked to pay an additional €80 "holiday check-in fee" plus tourist tax through a payment request right before arrival. The holiday fee had not been clearly and openly explained to us in any practical way beforehand. It was buried inside a long block of listing text, without being clearly highlighted before the free cancellation period ended. As foreign travelers, how were we supposed to know a local holiday surcharge would apply if the host never clearly explained it? We asked a very normal clarification question about these charges, especially because the listing said the tourist tax was charged per person, per night, and one guest was not staying all nights. This was a simple and valid question. There were not endless messages from our side. There was essentially one clarification request about the charges and one follow-up about the check-in process. That was all. What made this even more frustrating was that the host had our information and arrival details already, but still did not clearly flag these costs in a direct way before arrival. The payment request initially did not even come with a proper breakdown. For travelers already dealing with flights, time differences, and a wedding schedule, this kind of last-minute surprise is extremely inconvenient and stressful. Check-in was also unnecessarily difficult. The host insisted on doing it in person, but then arrived late, so we had to wait even after check-in time had already started. We did not complain and simply waited. Once the host arrived, the explanation took about 30 minutes and went through far more detail than necessary while part of our group was trying to unpack and get ready for dinner. It made the entire arrival feel rigid and inconvenient. The most unreasonable part is that after all of this, the host left us a nasty review, even though our only real issue was asking for clarification about significant extra charges that had not been clearly disclosed in a straightforward way. Asking about an €80 fee and a tax calculation is not bad behavior. It is basic common sense. If you book here, read every line extremely carefully and be prepared for extra costs and a very inflexible communication style. For international travelers especially, this was far more stressful than it needed to be.
