The Euromast is a neat experience for the views. We chose the complete experience when we purchased our tickets, this includes a visit to the platforms and euroscoop. If you do not handle heights well then I would recommend the general ticket since the euroscoop takes you all the way to the top. It was a neat experience and I really enjoyed the views of Rotterdam. My only complaint was that once you entered getting into the elevator was disorganized since there was not a line. You can also dine in at their restaurant or grab a drink on their rooftop bar but we did not do that. read more

Very nice view of the city, so worth going here if you are in the area. However, the ticketing options on their purchase screens were very confusing (packages that made it unclear what was included) and the staff assistants were not very polite or helpful. If I were the proprietors, the purchase options should just be made as a lift to the main viewing level and an optional add-on for the 7 minute ride in the glass elevator to the very top. By the way, we had to wait 45 minutes in the cold wind for the glass elevator ride. Wasn't worth it unless you might be into the thrill (which it really wasn't). View from main platform is just as good. read more

While visiting Amsterdam, we decided to take a quick visit to Rotterdam. Euromast was on the list of must do attractions in Rotterdam. I booked the full experience that includes access to the platform as well as the euroscope. They also have a restaurant, and we decided to book reservations for high wine. My feelings are a little mixed. I would give the Euromast experience on the platform and ride on the euroscope 4/4.5 stars and the restaurant (high wine experience) a 3/3.5 stars. The view on the Euromast was absolutely amazing. You can see the entire city from there. I would definitely recommend adding the euroscope, which takes you an additional 185 meter up. The euroscope is completely enclosed with a glass floor and windows, so you have a clear view of the city. It also spins slowly in a circle, so everyone gets a full 360 view of the city. After the euroscope, we went one floor down to the restaurant for high wine. Our reservation was for 3:30 pm but we arrived at 3 and they seated us early. High wine was explained as a wine and small bite paring. When we were seated, we were asked about any allergies, which is very common in Europe. I let my waitress know I don't eat pork or shellfish, which probably threw them off. After we were seated, we were served a sparkling wine, which I found very tasty. Then we waited about 10 minutes for the small bite to accompany it. This basically went on for all 3 pairings. The wine came first, and then 10 mins later, the small bite. My expectations for high was the wine and and small bite would be served together and not so spaced out. 1st pairing- sparking wine w/hummas in a fried pita type cone. I don't believe this was the intended first bite, but I think the no shellfish or pork threw them off. 2nd pairing was a white wine with raw salmon, mango salsa, and squid ink paste. I don't eat shellfish, squid included, so I had to eat around that. 3rd pairing was a French melbac with cheese and nuts, fish tartar crackers, olives, pickled watermelon, cucumber, and falafel on top of taziki The melbec was amazing. The first thing that hits you is the smell of cherries. The taste is very smooth and refreshing and paired well with the small bites. I actually plan to look for this wine online. 4th pairing was a dessert plate served with dessert sauvignon blanc. Even though I enjoyed all 4 of my wine servings, I feel like the food and services were lacking. My biggest recommendation is to provide a menu example for high wine online because that can help someone decide if they would rather do that or high tea, brunch, etc. If you're ever in Rotterdam, I definitely would recommend a stop at the Euromast, but I would skip high wine at the restaurant and try something else like brunch. read more

I need to revisit! We had one day in Rotterdam, and the weather was uncooperative....cold, rainy, windy, and just textbook dreary. We decided to head up to see what we could see, and despite the weather, it turned out to be a lot! The clear pictures posted by others do far more justice to the views than anything I took, so I decided not to post anything. The port, along with the buildings surrounding the tower, were (and are) beautiful in their own way. Both are very industrial yet modern, and the architecture melds well together. You don't really look around and think, "Yeah, that building doesn't really fit in there, does it?" It all works! The elevator to the top is a very quick ride, and it is in the middle of the tower with no windows, so if you are afraid of heights, you won't see how high you are until you get off. We were the only ones up there on our visit, which was great because we didn't have to dodge any one in the crazy weather. You are let off on one observation deck and once you go outside and walk around, you find stairs to another deck a little higher up. We were cold and soaked, but we hiked up to the higher deck to get even more photos. When we were finished, we hopped back on the elevator and were taken down to exit through the gift shop. It is pretty tiny with just your basic souvenirs; we walked away with a few postcards and a magnet. There is a restaurant in the tower as well, but we didn't check it out. It's a tourist spot. I wouldn't recommend for someone who is afraid of heights to go to the very top, especially on a windy day. Granted the view is worth to see, but if you really like a challenge, you'll find so many hidden beauty in between Rotterdam. I was told on a very clear sunny day, you can see Belgium across from the entire town. Aside to the breathtaking view, again.. it's a tourist spot, so you're going to pay for each expensive experience and gifts, if you're wanting to buy. read more

The interior was fabulous and food was amazing but the breathtaking view of metropolis Rotterdam took the show. Nowhere else in the area can you get a view of what feels like the whole country. We had a somewhat fixed menu that is pretty common with corporate dinners to save costs. I started with the salad of goat's cheese glazed in honey hazelnut and grilled brioche bread. The cheese was very thick and overtook the entire meal. While the taste was strong, it ended up being a great way to start the night, jump-starting my digestive tract. I moved on to the vegetable bouillon with mushroom ravioli. They brought out the two mushroom ravioli squares and poured the in front of me to form a soup in front of my eyes. The vegetable bouillon was a bit filling but the ravioli went quick and it was rather unimpressive. My entree was a beef rib-eye with onion compote and truffle sauce. This is where the magic happened. This dish had more levels of flavor that the elevator that brought me 96M from the bottom. I savored every slice and let it sit on my tongue for a bit before chewing every time. I finished with the cheese plate and a cafe ole to clear my pallet. After that I took a stroll outside for a view of the city. From stairwell after stairwell I went as far as I could. The view of the city and well-lit Erasmus bridge with breath-taking. I found out later that there are many things you can do other than eat like come and visit just for the view, take a zip-line from top to bottom or a Euroscoop discovery tour. I went here after finding it highly rated. The food was amazing! Among the three of us, we had salad, carpaccio, and a pan-fried fish. They were all great! The down side of eating here is that you have to pay $10 Euro just to get up to the restaurant. But since you have to pay to get up, make sure you take the elevator, climb the stairs, and take the rotating elevator to get a whole view of Rotterdam. There is a voice that talks about the history of the city. To be honest, I was getting dizzy due to my motion sickness, so I didn't really pay attention. Also, I did not know that it was normal to not serve tap water in restaurants, so we had to pay 5 Euro for a bottled water. Since we had to pay, we only ordered one, and I was soooo dehydrated for the next 4 hours. read more

Wat een uitzicht zeg! Yes, there is an amazing view from the top of the Euromast. The reason that I went was to go abseiling with some friends but we did spend some time up at the top as well. You can walk around outside and see Rotterdam from all different angles. The (for no additional charge) you can walk up to an elevator that continuously spins 360 degrees while telling you about the tings that you are seeing (it's a 7 minute ride and is spoke in Dutch and English). I wish the people would have been a bit more quite though so I could have heard more of that the recording was saying. Then the abseiling. That was pretty cool. Basically they attached you to a rope and you move yourself down to the ground at your own pace. You do get to go back up after you reach the ground to continue exploring the Euromast if you want. read more

When in Rotterdam this is a place one must visit and it is not only cause of the exceptional and breathtaking view. The food and the service in terms of quality and pricing offers also a great value! I must admit I find dinning in Holland somewhat problematic. Good restaurants are not few but in terms of the ratio between quality and pricing, a ratio that is my first and main foodie commandments, Holland is a jungle. Aside from the obvious Michelin stars where one pays accordingly is hard to justify every other place, regardless of quality, expecting to be paid same as all the others. This is why Euromast Brasserie is a done deal or a walk in the park for me. I am going to be brave and stick my neck out to claim that no other, non Michelin, places in Holland offers such view, ambiance, dinning experience and great tasting quality food without overcharging you tones! I am not sure why this is a hidden fact for Euromast Brasserie but I am glad it is! The prices are very human and furthermore very competitive for a simple but still intriguing and seasonal menu. read more

Had a HighTea here with a friend and fell in love with Rotterdam all over again from the view. And mind you, this was on a rainy day! Although it breathed 'tourist attraction', and the plastic seats are so 2000 ;), the service was friendly enough and the food also good. I think dinner here would be even better... I only like the view and the restaurant ambiance only. The food is too salty, the portion is small and taste just okay and the price is not cheap. We tries the steak, duck, seabass, pasta for the kids, kroket and poffartjas. All are salty. The poffartjas is tough to eat and didn't taste good at all. Overall food is disappointed. read more

Worst service ever. At the end of the diner the waiter told me my credit card didn't work so I asked my friend to pay for me, later on I checked my account and the payment was there! We came back to claim our money back! I don't understand why they would tell me it didn't work even though the manager clearly found the receipts showing that we paid twice! On top of that, the waitress poured wine everywhere on the table. The service was freaking slow. We asked for more butter, we never received. We asked for more bread, we never received. They brought us new meals but left previous empty plates on the table, we had to put them aside on another unoccupied table ourselves. On the other hand the waitress took away my empty glass even though the bottle was not finished (hello). Champagne was 60 euros and the flute glass were made of some kind of plastic. It was just plain terrible even though the food was good. My advice, go for the elevator and the view but DO NOT go in the restaurant. read more

The view is 5 star and the Euromast tower is not to be missed, but the food at the restaurant is just ok. There were really no choices for vegans, and while my salad was good, I'm told the steaks the omnivores in my party ordered weren't very good. The restaurant prices were not too high, but you must pay the entry fee for the tower before you can get into the restaurant. read more
