You and your son were purchasing a car to get home with. If i remember correctly it was medicine hat. I remember you mentioning it while in mona's office. Right around the time you said you didnt need your sons bs. The look of him almost in tears made my daughter want to storm in the office and...shall we say... add her two cents to the conversation. You also needed to go to uhaul before heading south. Seeing the stress you obviously were in I actually offered to mona to bring the staff she sent with you to bring your other vehicle there back to the dealership. You response was quite succinct..."quite honestly i dont know you from a hill of beans... so no!" I wasnt even offering to help you. I was offering to help mona after all she was the one not needing to put up with you. As a matter of fact that is what she told you in the office when she was finalizing the sale so you could get on your way. Stressed or not you are not high and mighty and need to understand that how you treat others should and will reflect in the way your children behave... by the way your son was not behaving badly but you were. Get over yourself. Both mona and marie were very patient and understanding during you obviously trying visit.

I overlooked a few things...like wrappers under the seats and a note to 'Alison' I found in a trunk compartment...not as clean as I thought. But mechanical issues started coming up. Buying used vehicles often comes with those, but they never seemed to end. The rims needed fixing because the tires kept going flat, the keyfob stopped working, stuff like that. THEN I go to get my oil changed and my mechanic discovers that the plug for my oil pan was held in with caulking. Shortly after that, I started having serious transmission problems. I couldn't get the Journey over 70 kms. Sometimes it just wouldn't start. It would eventually, but there was a gauntlet of things to do and check first. Sometimes it took three tries, sometimes it took ten minutes. I bought the Journey in September of 2019, and I just parked it permanently in July 2021. I'm mad at myself for not reading the Carfax. They gave me one without me having to ask, so I didn't worry about it. I took it in good faith. My bad. I had been happy with the service, but I'll never go back. Their mechanic SUCKS.

Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.

I've experienced them all multiple times and I'm sorry to say but it's amazing how the stereotypes of a sleazy car salesman are alive and well in the industry.... That being said - I actually ENJOYED the experience of buying my Honda Civic at Platinum Fine Cars today! Jacky and Jacky were a complete breath of fresh air.. there were no "salesman lines" no sheisty hooks.. just 2 genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly professionals. I will recommend this establishment above all others to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle, hands down. Not a massive selection albeit a quality selection which I would take any day. Make this your first stop. I have faith that these men will not let you down.. worst case, you drive away empty handed with a renewed faith in the used car buying experience. Thank you guys for a very positive shopping experience.

I used a different number and called and he finally answered. The car didn't have a single drop of oil in the engine. It also had a suspension problem. he lied on the inspection papers which show everything was fine. I recommend you avoid buying from this place and if possible, and if you still want to buy a car from him, take your mechanic to check the car before buying it. Don't trust him. He wouldn't take responsibility for the car repair, and after refusing to answer my calls, I decide to file a complaint, only then he contacted me, but it was useless ( that complaints office is on the sellers side, as they only check for compliance with permits and don't help consumers). Manny just kept me from waiting until the warranty coverage expired. he then said he'd agree to pay for part of a repair i had to do, which he hasn't done, and now he hides in his office if I look for him and doesn't answer my call. Yes, he acts very friendly, but he's a really dishonest person. don't trust him.

I purchased a new battery for it. The car started and I proceeded to drive it. I drove to the airport to pick someone up and the car died again. It started after about 15-20 minutes. It died and I limped it home. I called Bridgestone Auto Inc and they told me to tow it to Heiser Automotive, at my own expense. Heiser diagnosed a bad key fob so I purchased a new one. They had a locksmith change the batteries in the key fobs and reprogram them. I took the car and made it about 20 kms and the car died on a major highway. I was almost rear-ended by a big truck. Towed it back to Heiser. They diagnosed a loose connection. I took the car and made it about 5 kms. I managed to start the car and limp it back to Heiser. They tested the alternator and it tested at 8 volts. David Enabulu refuses to get it fixed. He says he had another mechanic check it out and it's not the alternator. They cannot re-create the symptoms. I am out the purchase price plus about 1000.00 on this car. It's been almost 7 weeks and I still do not have a car. He currently has the car although it is registered to me.
